House Sitting in Scotland

“Emily is absolutely wonderful!! She has done overnight stays in my home multiple times over the last year. During the year, I have acquired quite a few more pets then her first time sitting last summer. This visit Emily stayed in my home for two and a half weeks. She got thrown a few curve balls this visit and took them all in stride. First, my travel mates decided to leave a day early, I contacted her and on very short notice she was able to come a day early. Then right before I left, I found 2 abandoned kittens, I knew I wasn't going to be able to get them in anywhere on such short notice, so decided to keep them until I got back and then explore options for placement/adoption. Then one of my pets (a guinea pig) developed an abscess which warranted a trip to the ER vet, medication twice daily and a follow-up with his primary (exotic) vet. When she noticed a change in the guinea pig, she immediately contacted me and she was able to get him treatment. Without her close eye and swift intervention, things may not have turned out so well as a guinea pigs health can be quite fragile. She has been my pet sitter for a year, and during that time she has built bonds and relationships with my pets and knows their personalities, behaviors and preferences. She is able to quickly identify any changes. She is always very professional and communicates daily via texts and frequently sends pictures/videos. She takes great care of my pets and she always leaves my home neat and tidy. It is so nice to come home to happy, healthy pets and a clean house after being away. I can not speak highly enough about her! She is wonderful! I would recommend her for any and all of your pet sitting needs.”

She was SO flexible with me pushing the dog sitting back one day and then later asking to extend it another day. She spent a ton of time at the house with Bowie and was intentional about giving him enrichment and playtime. She left the key exactly where I asked her to and locked all of my doors. She was respectful of our home and left it exactly how it was before she got here. She is my new go to pet sitter!”

Andrew was in contact with me everyday I was away. He sent videos and photos as well as exact times when they started and ended walks. Additionally Andrew asked permission before doing things. Despite being a fairly relaxed person with people using the amenities, I truly appreciated Andrew asking for my consent prior to using them. Definitely give Andrew a call and see if he's available to watch your fur babies. I'm glad I did.”

About: I grew up on a farm where I learned about the care for many different animals. I’ve pet sat for others since I was 16 and have been raising my own fur babies for almost 7 years now. I’m gentle, attentive, and value being on time. I’ll treat your fur baby like my own family with professional belly rubs and lots of walks! I am currently in nursing school, so when I’m not in class or at clinicals, I’m available to care for your pet however I am needed any day of the week. About: I Grew up in a small zoo with 4 dogs, 2 cats, 6 chickens, and a lizard. My personal babies, peanut (14 y/o chihuahua) and Sophie Cat (4 year old Siberian) are my pride and joy. Currently in school and living on north side Tallahassee, usually on the move but super flexible with moving things around! About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all ages and personalities, and I always make sure they feel safe, loved, and well-looked after. I have experience house sitting, cleaning up the home before owners return, and sticking to daily routines. After work I would head straight over to let the dogs out, keep them company, and make sure they got plenty of attention. On weekends I enjoyed taking them on long walks around the neighborhood. I’ve also cared for three dogs and two cats at the same time, including baths when needed. On top of that, I’ve raised a rescue kitten from just one week old—bottle feeding every two hours, teaching him to walk, use the litter box, and transition to solid food—so I’m very comfortable with pets who need extra patience or special care. Since I have a flexible work schedule, I am able to plan my days around pet care. I’m available most afternoons, evenings, and weekends for walks, check-ins, or overnight care. I keep pets safe by following your routines closely and maintaining a clean, calm environment. I’m careful with doors, crates, feeding schedules, and any instructions you leave for me.

About: Living in a household with cats and dogs, and growing up with an affinity for all animals, I have a deep love and respect for the care they receive, and I know how they are just as much family as anyone else. I have lived with and cared for a wide variety of dogs, cats, and even reptiles and birds for family and friends, and I find joy in getting to know each pet's personality and quirks. I’m about to start my final full-time internship to finish my Master of Social Work degree, which will run from May 11th through July 31st. My availability will primarily only be after 6pm on weekdays, however, on Saturdays and Sundays I have much more availability and flexibility (pretty much all day). I am a highly motivated, organized, and driven individual, and I hope that you can trust that even though I have other obligations, your pet and their care are a priority to me. I understand that leaving your pet in the hands of an unfamiliar individual can be extremely anxiety-provoking, but I aim to make the experience as comfortable and transparent as possible by providing consistent communication so that, while you are gone, you can relax knowing your pet is in trusted, safe hands.

About: I work full time as a lead emergency veterinary technician. Love spending time with all animals from puppies, seniors all the way to being there for end of life care. Available for in home boardings, mine or yours. Cuddle and play time are important so I make sure I spend as much time with your baby so they are stress feee and comfortable. I have a fenced in yard. All animals allowed on the furniture. I want it to feel like they are home when they are here.

About: Throughout my life, I have always been drawn to animals. I have grown up interacting with dogs, cats, horses, cows, chickens, and more. In 2016, my family dog, Cayson, entered my life. Through caring for him, my love for animals intensified, as well as my caretaking skills. In my career, I am a caregiver, and that definitely spills over into how I take care of animals: with love, understanding, and care. I am currently working part-time as a CNA, so my weeks are relatively flexible. I have reliable transportation and I’m willing to travel to best accommodate owners. I care for any and all pets through asking the owner very thorough questions, paying attention to detail, and extending the same love and care I have for my own pet onto them.

I can come to your house, or bring your dog here to my 1/2 acre fenced in yard, with a dog door to the house and lots of time to share with your pet. I am retired and in Tallahassee or the vicinity walking or meeting up with friends. I have lots of free time to share with your pet. I have a 1/2 acre fenced in yard and a dog door to the house. I have a pool. I can come to your house if needed, or care for your dog here.
