About: With over a decade experience, I provide a personalized and attentive approach to pet care that sets me apart. Growing up on a small farm, I’ve cared for a wide range of animals, including horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, pigs, and cows, which has fueled my passion for animals from an early age. Now that I’ve recently moved to the area, I’m eager to meet you and your pet! As a recent college graduate and a proud dog mom of two, I know how important trust, reliability, and love are when it comes to your furry family members. Whether it's a playful puppy that needs guidance or a senior dog that requires extra care, I’m equipped with the skills and experience to meet their unique needs. With open availability, I’m here to accommodate your schedule—whether it’s for daily walks, playtime at the park, or just some cozy cuddles on the couch. Rest easy knowing your pet will receive the highest level of care and attention. I’m so excited to meet your furry companion and provide them with the love they deserve! With my open schedule as a recent college graduate eagerly awaiting a career opportunity, pet care seamlessly integrates into my daily and weekly routine. I understand the importance of consistency and reliability when it comes to caring for pets, and I am committed to providing flexible and accommodating services to meet the needs of both pets and their owners. When caring for pets in my client's home, I take great care to respect their space and routines. About: I am a full time Registered Nurse with 3 dogs of my own. 2 mutts and a Great Dane. I am doing this for fun on my off days, I have a passion for animals and love caring for them. I have experience in giving medications and assisting with mobility. This is something fun for me to do on my days off. I care for my own dogs before and after work which are 12 hour shifts. About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life and was always an active participant in caring for them. I started pet sitting for dogs and cats in middle school. Honestly, I just miss having pets around and would love to care for your baby. My job is hybrid so I can work remote and take breaks as needed. I am a homebody so even when I go into the office I am usually home by 5:30 at the latest and around for the whole evening. I prioritize a safe, calm, and clean environment at all times. In both my home and a client’s home, I follow each pet’s routines, diet, and care instructions closely. I live in an apartment, but I enjoy taking walks around the complex and the neighborhood so pets still get plenty of exercise and fresh air. My parents’ dog is allergic to chicken, so I’m very aware of how important it is to stick to specific diets and how serious the consequences can be if instructions aren’t followed. I’m great at following directions while also making sure pets have a fun, enriching, and comfortable experience.

About: As retirees, Steven and I have reached a point in our lives where we have the time and freedom to pursue something we truly love...caring for our furry friends! We have 2 great guys of our own, Mac and Zac! Our flexible schedules have afforded us plenty of time to devote to those 2, providing them with the absolute best loving and safe home environment. In fact, we think they think we retired just for them! They have never been happier. And we know your pet (s) will love being with us too. We absolutely hated when we had to choose to lodge our guys in an impersonal setting, such as a commercial kennel. So we decided to "pay it forward" and offer others a much better alternative for their pets. Not to mention, the peace of mind of knowing that your pets are in the best of care. So whether it's walks, playtime or just good company, we are here to help! Being retired affords us the opportunity to be home daily. Therefore, our services are available 7 days a week. We love being outdoors but more than anything, we love pets! We've found that dogs have a sense of routine. Changes in that routine can be over-stimulating. Therefore, the preferred setting for dogs is to be either in their own homes or in a more personal home-like setting. That's why our services are so vital. Theirs definitely NO PLACE LIKE HOME (or HOME-LIKE) . We offer spacious climate controlled accommodations which include: 1. 2 - Generous size sleeping suite with room to move around and relax comfortably. 2. Comfy and clean doggie beds or you can choose to bring your own. 3. Individual feeding station which includes filtrated water dispensers 4. Personal Care - Individualized care catering to dog's unique needs and preferences

About: Hey there! My name is Harmony! I'm a South Florida native who is currently working full-time and looking to make a bit of side cash and help other pet parents with their needs as they're busy or out of town! I have four cats, a dog and a leopard gecko. My whole life I've lived around animals big and small and feel very comfortable with them and always fall in love with every fur baby I meet! I have experience with birds, fish, reptiles, rodents, dogs and cats! I'm very very flexible, and want to give you the peace of mind that you need while you're away. Leave your loved one in my hands with no stress! I understand that unexpected circumstances happen, I've gone through it too! I'm extremely chill and laid-back, need me to wait an extra day or two? Running late from the airport? Totally fine and no worries! I look forward to meeting you and your pet(s)! I work 8am to 6pm every week day, and I am off on weekends. I usually fluctuate my schedule based on the pets I am caring for. I have a fenced in yard and a very friendly dog who loves cats and dogs! I am able to crate your dog if that is something they require when being cared for.
About: I've always had pets in house kind of like a zoo. From mammals to reptiles, I'll always be the one caring for and spending valuable time with. That's why I want to become veterinarian for other animal lovers. I'm currently working part-time at an animal hospital that fluctuates in schedule but the care for your fur baby would be on my mind. I am an early riser and enjoy being outside with nature so there would never be a dull moment for them :) Sadly I don't have a fenced yard at my home, but a dog park a few steps away for the pups & dogs. I do have a loving cat so my house has many cat toys and cat trees.
“Appreciate Elizabeth once again helping us out last minute. Our dog can get nervous when we are away but she was pretty calm and relaxed when we got home so I know she enjoyed her walks.”

About: My family has owned dogs my entire life - I grew up learning how to best care for them. Very trustworthy, kind, loyal, and loving! I’ve had dogs through all the stages - puppy through senior care. (currently in film graduate school, so my availability reflects mainly weekends. BUT - I am willing to make weekday hours work as well, so please feel free to still reach out to talk about that!) I’m currently a graduate student - but i’m willing to make my schedule work to accommodate your needs! Whatever you need, i’m here to make it work for you, guaranteed! I’m great at following rules and instructions. Whatever your pet needs, I’ll be able to give them guaranteed. I’ve had experience with many breeds also!
About: I’ve been brought up with dogs my entire life and have taken care of pets for neighbors, family and friends for over 10 years. For some of my friends pets, I’m also one of the only people they trust to give them medication. I’m working part time so I have plenty of time to hangout with your pet and make sure they are well fed, get to potty, and have play time. I can take care of your fur baby to you liking. I cannot have dogs at my house right now because my roommate has two big dogs, but I can follow any directions based on owners preferences and will guarantee to treat your pet as if they were my own.

- 96% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
