About: With over a decade experience, I provide a personalized and attentive approach to pet care that sets me apart. Growing up on a small farm, I’ve cared for a wide range of animals, including horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, pigs, and cows, which has fueled my passion for animals from an early age. Now that I’ve recently moved to the area, I’m eager to meet you and your pet! As a recent college graduate and a proud dog mom of two, I know how important trust, reliability, and love are when it comes to your furry family members. Whether it's a playful puppy that needs guidance or a senior dog that requires extra care, I’m equipped with the skills and experience to meet their unique needs. With open availability, I’m here to accommodate your schedule—whether it’s for daily walks, playtime at the park, or just some cozy cuddles on the couch. Rest easy knowing your pet will receive the highest level of care and attention. I’m so excited to meet your furry companion and provide them with the love they deserve! With my open schedule as a recent college graduate eagerly awaiting a career opportunity, pet care seamlessly integrates into my daily and weekly routine. I understand the importance of consistency and reliability when it comes to caring for pets, and I am committed to providing flexible and accommodating services to meet the needs of both pets and their owners. When caring for pets in my client's home, I take great care to respect their space and routines. I adhere strictly to any instructions provided by the pet owner regarding feeding schedules, medication administration, and specific care requirements. I strive to create a seamless transition for pets, minimizing stress and anxiety by maintaining familiar routines and surroundings.

About: As retirees, Steven and I have reached a point in our lives where we have the time and freedom to pursue something we truly love...caring for our furry friends! We have 2 great guys of our own, Mac and Zac! Our flexible schedules have afforded us plenty of time to devote to those 2, providing them with the absolute best loving and safe home environment. In fact, we think they think we retired just for them! They have never been happier. And we know your pet (s) will love being with us too. We absolutely hated when we had to choose to lodge our guys in an impersonal setting, such as a commercial kennel. So we decided to "pay it forward" and offer others a much better alternative for their pets. Not to mention, the peace of mind of knowing that your pets are in the best of care. So whether it's walks, playtime or just good company, we are here to help! Being retired affords us the opportunity to be home daily. Therefore, our services are available 7 days a week. We love being outdoors but more than anything, we love pets! We've found that dogs have a sense of routine. Changes in that routine can be over-stimulating. Therefore, the preferred setting for dogs is to be either in their own homes or in a more personal home-like setting. That's why our services are so vital. Theirs definitely NO PLACE LIKE HOME (or HOME-LIKE) . We offer spacious climate controlled accommodations which include: 1. 2 - Generous size sleeping suite with room to move around and relax comfortably. 2. Comfy and clean doggie beds or you can choose to bring your own. 3. Individual feeding station which includes filtrated water dispensers 4. Personal Care - Individualized care catering to dog's unique needs and preferences

About: I’ve been pet sitting for family for years now and figured it’s time to branch out the business. I live alone, have a large back yard and a nice park nearby my house. I would pet sit at times when I am available to and take on pets in a manner that makes logistical sense for me and my schedule. I check on them and look for any signs of obvious discomfort or distress. Make sure they have time to use the bathroom/clean litter box and water. Most animals will try and communicate to you what they need, so it’s good to follow the routines they have at home and interpret what they need and at what time.

I can try to make any booking work with advance notice. Please reach out and we can make it work! I am very careful with making sure harnesses are on and safe. About: I’ve been brought up with dogs my entire life and have taken care of pets for neighbors, family and friends for over 10 years. For some of my friends pets, I’m also one of the only people they trust to give them medication. I’m working part time so I have plenty of time to hangout with your pet and make sure they are well fed, get to potty, and have play time. I can take care of your fur baby to you liking. I cannot have dogs at my house right now because my roommate has two big dogs, but I can follow any directions based on owners preferences and will guarantee to treat your pet as if they were my own.

About: I have grown up with dogs and cats my entire life. Professionally I have worked with animals for about 5 years now. I worked at a doggy daycare for almost 3 years. Working there taught me a great deal about animal behavior and different kinds of dog personalities. I currently work at an animal hospital as a veterinary assistant. My job duties involve administering medication daily and taking care of both dogs and cats. I have previously worked at an emergency veterinary hospital as well, which helped me learn how to react best under pressure. I have 3 fur babies of my own (1 dog and 2 cats). I have previously volunteered at local animal shelters where I met many different types of dogs and cats. I look forward to meeting your pets! I currently work full time as a veterinary assistant, so during the week I am only available before 7:30am and after 5:30pm. I am fully available on the weekends! I am happy to follow any directions left for me about caring for your fur babies! I have pets of my own that all have different feeding schedules, amounts, and medications. So lists of requests and directions do not scare me!

About: I grew up on a farm where I learned about the care for many different animals. I’ve pet sat for others since I was 16 and have been raising my own fur babies for almost 7 years now. I’m gentle, attentive, and value being on time. I’ll treat your fur baby like my own family with professional belly rubs and lots of walks! I am currently in nursing school, so when I’m not in class or at clinicals, I’m available to care for your pet however I am needed any day of the week. I am capable of tailoring care to your pet’s needs. Whether that means needing to be crated, given medication, bathed, or fed a certain way, I will do it. I know how important it is to want to be stress free when leaving your pet in the care of someone else which is why I want to create a safe and trustworthy environment so that you don’t have to worry while away.

About: My name is Micah, and I am 21 years old. I have always held a special place in my heart for animals, as a child I would make it my mission to take in every stray I found lol. During my adulthood, my love for animals has grown even fonder, and I have decided to make it my career. I have worked as a veterinary assistant for almost four years now, and I have loved every aspect of it! I have worked with cats & dogs of all temperaments, breeds, ages and disabilities. I have also fostered multiple dogs and own three of my own, which consists of two Aussies and one dachshund. I have worked for nearly four years as a veterinary assistant, so I have plenty of experience with cats/dogs of all behaviors, sizes, medical conditions and ages! I care for my client’s pets by following my client’s specific instructions regarding the care of their pets. I will make sure to provide basic necessities such as food/water, administrating any medications needed and taking them out for potty breaks. Also, I assure you they will get plenty of cuddles, playtime and walks! I am also trained in giving baths and nail trims if they need a self care day! I promise your pet will see me more so as a playdate partner rather than a babysitter, and I will love your fur baby just as I love my own.

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I've been dog sitting for over a year and had my own dogs for more than 7 years. Caring for animals genuinely makes me happy, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. I don't see Rover as just a job, it's more like a hobby that I really enjoy. Since I can't have a dog of my own right now, caring for other people's dogs allows me to enjoy their company and give them lots of love and attention I have a very flexible schedule and spend most of my time at home, which allows me to provide plenty of attention and care throughout the day. Dogs are rarely left alone and can enjoy multiple walks, playtime, potty breaks, and lots of companionship. I live in a spacious home with a large backyard where dogs can safely play and enjoy outdoor time. Since I have a flexible schedule and spend most of my time at home, pets receive plenty of attention throughout the day. I always follow each pet's routine and owner's instructions carefully to ensure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while in my care ❤️🐶

About: Throughout my life, I have always been drawn to animals. I have grown up interacting with dogs, cats, horses, cows, chickens, and more. In 2016, my family dog, Cayson, entered my life. Through caring for him, my love for animals intensified, as well as my caretaking skills. In my career, I am a caregiver, and that definitely spills over into how I take care of animals: with love, understanding, and care. I am currently working part-time as a CNA, so my weeks are relatively flexible. I have reliable transportation and I’m willing to travel to best accommodate owners. I care for any and all pets through asking the owner very thorough questions, paying attention to detail, and extending the same love and care I have for my own pet onto them.

About: I trained canine assistance dogs for 9 months and have over 25 years of experience. I’m very good with all types and personalities when it comes to our furry companions Working on switching my career path right now since there is a shift to corporate medicine in animal hospitals and as support staff I lost the feeling of being supported, or properly compensated myself. I recently started watching my neice from 6-4 Monday through Friday. Sometimes I will do delivery driving at night, but only if that is ok with you! I also have my medical marijuana card. Despite that review that says I agreed not to, I have never negotiated this. I’m an anxious, insomniac with cyclical vomiting syndrome. Some days I would not be ok without it🥺 I apologize if that does not work for anybody, but one must take care of themselves before they can care for others. This actually isn’t lucrative enough with my schedule. I ONLY do this because animals are my passion!!! Feel free to ask me any questions at all! I really am an open book! I have a 3/3 townhouse set up with lots of room for walks. Unfortunately there is no fence, but it is a very pet friendly environment.

About: I’ve been a dog and cat groomer for 4 years. I grew up on a farm taking care of all the animals from horses, cows, pigs, chickens , dogs , cats , turkeys etc. I’m very patient with animals who take more time to get to know new people who come into their lives and I love my senior animals who take a little longer on our walks :) I just moved to Florida from Arizona. This will be my full time job for now until I am able to save up to start my own mobile dog and cat business and hopefully be able to provide grooming services to all my lovely clients I am very reliable and flexible. I have always been the neighborhood help for pet care when my neighbors went on vacation. I’ve helped with feeding their farm animal and their indoor animals . Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Attapulgus. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Attapulgus.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

  • 92% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
