About: As retirees, Steven and I have reached a point in our lives where we have the time and freedom to pursue something we truly love...caring for our furry friends! We have 2 great guys of our own, Mac and Zac! Our flexible schedules have afforded us plenty of time to devote to those 2, providing them with the absolute best loving and safe home environment. In fact, we think they think we retired just for them! They have never been happier. And we know your pet (s) will love being with us too. We absolutely hated when we had to choose to lodge our guys in an impersonal setting, such as a commercial kennel. So we decided to "pay it forward" and offer others a much better alternative for their pets. Not to mention, the peace of mind of knowing that your pets are in the best of care. So whether it's walks, playtime or just good company, we are here to help! Being retired affords us the opportunity to be home daily. Therefore, our services are available 7 days a week. We love being outdoors but more than anything, we love pets! We've found that dogs have a sense of routine. Changes in that routine can be over-stimulating. Therefore, the preferred setting for dogs is to be either in their own homes or in a more personal home-like setting. That's why our services are so vital. Theirs definitely NO PLACE LIKE HOME (or HOME-LIKE) . We offer spacious climate controlled accommodations which include: 1. 2 - Generous size sleeping suite with room to move around and relax comfortably. 2. Comfy and clean doggie beds or you can choose to bring your own. 3. Individual feeding station which includes filtrated water dispensers 4. Personal Care - Individualized care catering to dog's unique needs and preferences
About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life and worked with many shelters to provide assistance with animals. Training to become a vet at my college of Florida State University. Pet care fits into my daily routine all the time. Love putting animals first and don’t have much for the summer since all my classes are online. I respect the clients home and make sure whatever I touch or use I put back into the same place in which I found it. About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have had both dogs and cats since I was a young child. Growing up with pets taught me the importance of providing consistent care, patience, and love. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs and cats of different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities for friends, family, and neighbors. My responsibilities have included feeding, refreshing water, administering oral medications when needed, taking dogs on walks, cleaning litter boxes, picking up after pets, playing with them, providing companionship, and making sure they stick to their normal routines so they feel comfortable while their owners are away. A few months ago, my boyfriend and I found an 8-year-old dog who was a stray in the woods. He lives with my boyfriend so you won’t have to worry about your pet in case they do not do well with other dogs. Welcoming him into our lives has been an incredibly rewarding experience and has taught me even more about earning a dog’s trust, being patient, and understanding that every pet has unique needs and a different personality. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, so I’ll provide dependable care, plenty of attention, and regular updates so you can have peace of mind. Pet care fits well into my weekly routine. I work full-time, but I’m off all day on Mondays and Tuesdays, which gives me plenty of time for walks, playtime, and one-on-one attention. I’m also available after 1:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. When caring for pets in their home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible. I make sure they are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get their walks, bathroom breaks, playtime, and any medications if needed. I keep the home clean by cleaning up after pets and making sure food and water areas stay tidy. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners know how their pet is doing. I follow all care instructions carefully and respect both the pet’s routine and the owner’s home.
