Since 2021, l have had numerous experiences pet sitting for dogs and cats. My availability is extremely flexible, as apart from pet sitting, l am only working part time as a dance/yoga instructor. About: As retirees, Steven and I have reached a point in our lives where we have the time and freedom to pursue something we truly love...caring for our furry friends! We have 2 great guys of our own, Mac and Zac! Our flexible schedules have afforded us plenty of time to devote to those 2, providing them with the absolute best loving and safe home environment. In fact, we think they think we retired just for them! They have never been happier. And we know your pet (s) will love being with us too. We absolutely hated when we had to choose to lodge our guys in an impersonal setting, such as a commercial kennel. So we decided to "pay it forward" and offer others a much better alternative for their pets. Not to mention, the peace of mind of knowing that your pets are in the best of care. So whether it's walks, playtime or just good company, we are here to help! Being retired affords us the opportunity to be home daily. Therefore, our services are available 7 days a week. We love being outdoors but more than anything, we love pets! We've found that dogs have a sense of routine. Changes in that routine can be over-stimulating. Therefore, the preferred setting for dogs is to be either in their own homes or in a more personal home-like setting. That's why our services are so vital. Theirs definitely NO PLACE LIKE HOME (or HOME-LIKE) . We offer spacious climate controlled accommodations which include: 1. 2 - Generous size sleeping suite with room to move around and relax comfortably. 2. Comfy and clean doggie beds or you can choose to bring your own. 3. Individual feeding station which includes filtrated water dispensers 4. Personal Care - Individualized care catering to dog's unique needs and preferences
About: I have five cats and a dog of my own. I love exploring new trails and finding new places to walk. I also have experience administering medication to pets. I grew up with a dog that needed lots of medicine. I have plenty of experience with injections, pills, and liquids. I will treat your baby like my own. I truly miss the animals I watch when I inevitably have to leave. I hope you will trust me with your baby soon! I currently work part time and I am in nursing school. I can try to make any booking work with advance notice. Please reach out and we can make it work! I am very careful with making sure harnesses are on and safe. I make sure the water and food bowl are full and nothing is out that is dangerous.

About: Throughout my life, I have always been drawn to animals. I have grown up interacting with dogs, cats, horses, cows, chickens, and more. In 2016, my family dog, Cayson, entered my life. Through caring for him, my love for animals intensified, as well as my caretaking skills. In my career, I am a caregiver, and that definitely spills over into how I take care of animals: with love, understanding, and care. I am currently working part-time as a CNA, so my weeks are relatively flexible. I have reliable transportation and I’m willing to travel to best accommodate owners. I care for any and all pets through asking the owner very thorough questions, paying attention to detail, and extending the same love and care I have for my own pet onto them.
About: I’m experienced and very caring for a variety of pets, including cats, dogs and fish. I currently have two German short haired pointers so I know how to handle energetic dogs. I provide reliable, loving care tailored to each pets needs like feeding, walking, playtime, medications, and lots of attention. Your pets comfort and safety always comes first. I currently have an internship only three days a week, but will be available in afternoons. We can work together to figure out the schedule you need for your pets. I have two German shorthaired pointers which I love with my whole heart. I feed them regularly, let them outside in our backyard and take them for walks.
About: I have grown up with dogs and cats my entire life. Professionally I have worked with animals for about 5 years now. I worked at a doggy daycare for almost 3 years. Working there taught me a great deal about animal behavior and different kinds of dog personalities. I currently work at an animal hospital as a veterinary assistant. My job duties involve administering medication daily and taking care of both dogs and cats. I have previously worked at an emergency veterinary hospital as well, which helped me learn how to react best under pressure. I have 3 fur babies of my own (1 dog and 2 cats). I have previously volunteered at local animal shelters where I met many different types of dogs and cats. I look forward to meeting your pets! I currently work full time as a veterinary assistant, so during the week I am only available before 7:30am and after 5:30pm. I am fully available on the weekends! I am happy to follow any directions left for me about caring for your fur babies! I have pets of my own that all have different feeding schedules, amounts, and medications. So lists of requests and directions do not scare me!

“I’m so grateful for Kelly! She’s helped me out twice in a last-minute pinch and was incredibly reliable, responsive, and kind. Lucy was well cared for and happy, and I had total peace of mind. Highly recommend!”

About: I grew up on a farm where I learned about the care for many different animals. I’ve pet sat for others since I was 16 and have been raising my own fur babies for almost 7 years now. I’m gentle, attentive, and value being on time. I’ll treat your fur baby like my own family with professional belly rubs and lots of walks! I am currently in nursing school, so when I’m not in class or at clinicals, I’m available to care for your pet however I am needed any day of the week. I am capable of tailoring care to your pet’s needs. Whether that means needing to be crated, given medication, bathed, or fed a certain way, I will do it. I know how important it is to want to be stress free when leaving your pet in the care of someone else which is why I want to create a safe and trustworthy environment so that you don’t have to worry while away.

About: I’ve taken care of every kind of dog since I was about 10 years old. Throughout the years I have cared for my neighbors and family friends pets along side my own pups. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate time and attention to the pets I care for. I plan my days so that walks, feeding times, playtime, and check-ins are done consistently and on schedule. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, my priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while maintaining their normal routine as much as possible. I carefully follow the owner’s instructions for feeding schedules, medications (if needed), potty breaks, and exercise so their pet experiences as little disruption as possible. In my home, I provide a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment where pets can relax, play, and receive lots of attention. I make sure they have a comfortable place to rest, regular potty breaks, supervised playtime, and plenty of affection. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their space with the same respect I would my own. I stick closely to the pet’s usual routine, provide walks and playtime, keep food and water fresh, and make sure the home stays tidy. I also provide updates and photos so owners can feel reassured that their pets are happy and well cared for while they’re away. My goal is always to make pets feel loved, safe, and stress-free while their owners are gone.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
