House Sitting in Iamonia

“Emily is absolutely wonderful!! She has done overnight stays in my home multiple times over the last year. During the year, I have acquired quite a few more pets then her first time sitting last summer. This visit Emily stayed in my home for two and a half weeks. She got thrown a few curve balls this visit and took them all in stride. First, my travel mates decided to leave a day early, I contacted her and on very short notice she was able to come a day early. Then right before I left, I found 2 abandoned kittens, I knew I wasn't going to be able to get them in anywhere on such short notice, so decided to keep them until I got back and then explore options for placement/adoption. Then one of my pets (a guinea pig) developed an abscess which warranted a trip to the ER vet, medication twice daily and a follow-up with his primary (exotic) vet. When she noticed a change in the guinea pig, she immediately contacted me and she was able to get him treatment. Without her close eye and swift intervention, things may not have turned out so well as a guinea pigs health can be quite fragile. She has been my pet sitter for a year, and during that time she has built bonds and relationships with my pets and knows their personalities, behaviors and preferences. She is able to quickly identify any changes. She is always very professional and communicates daily via texts and frequently sends pictures/videos. She takes great care of my pets and she always leaves my home neat and tidy. It is so nice to come home to happy, healthy pets and a clean house after being away. I can not speak highly enough about her! She is wonderful! I would recommend her for any and all of your pet sitting needs.”

“I would recommend Andrew to anyone and have no reservations booking him again. My two adult pitbulls adore Andrew. I'm borderline concerned that they like him more than me. Andrew was in contact with me everyday I was away. He sent videos and photos as well as exact times when they started and ended walks. Additionally Andrew asked permission before doing things. Despite being a fairly relaxed person with people using the amenities, I truly appreciated Andrew asking for my consent prior to using them. Definitely give Andrew a call and see if he's available to watch your fur babies. I'm glad I did.”

About: In my childhood I had many cats and I have now had a dog for almost 8 years! I started dog sitting about 3 years ago for my neighbors and I really enjoy it. I have taken care of their dogs while they were on vacation and have also dropped in while they were working. I have been around pets my whole life and I love them! I love going on walks and playing with them and am very passionate about animal care. I currently work part time at a bakery but my schedule is pretty flexible around that. I do school mostly online so work is the only time I wouldn’t be with the pet! I never work in afternoons, only in the mornings. Contact me and I can work a shcedule out for you! I am very diligent about following instructions for your pet and I am respectful of both your space and the pet! I am also very diligent about safety and will do my best to keep an eye on your pet the whole time. I will clean any messes that may be made and check locks before leaving every time. I always make it a habit to check for food, water, any potential messes, and locks every visit.

My own dogs have lived long lives - two for 18 years, one for 17 so I know how to give meds and care for their special needs. Stanley's petsitter recommended I try Rover - so here I am! I can come to your house, or bring your dog here to my 1/2 acre fenced in yard, with a dog door to the house and lots of time to share with your pet. I am retired and in Tallahassee or the vicinity walking or meeting up with friends. I have lots of free time to share with your pet. I have a 1/2 acre fenced in yard and a dog door to the house. About: I Grew up in a small zoo with 4 dogs, 2 cats, 6 chickens, and a lizard. My personal babies, peanut (14 y/o chihuahua) and Sophie Cat (4 year old Siberian) are my pride and joy. Currently in school and living on north side Tallahassee, usually on the move but super flexible with moving things around! About: I’ve been a dog and cat groomer for 4 years. I grew up on a farm taking care of all the animals from horses, cows, pigs, chickens , dogs , cats , turkeys etc. I’m very patient with animals who take more time to get to know new people who come into their lives and I love my senior animals who take a little longer on our walks :) I just moved to Florida from Arizona. “Could not recommend Emily & Dom enough to watch your pet! I recently adopted my puppy and am new to Rover and they made the first experience so wonderful. We did a meet and greet where they made sure to ask all the important questions about Bowie’s routine and took thorough notes. During the stay they made sure to send plenty of photos and videos as well as updates. You could tell Bowie was well taken care of and well loved. They also took excellent care of my home while away.
