“Emily is absolutely wonderful!! She has done overnight stays in my home multiple times over the last year. During the year, I have acquired quite a few more pets then her first time sitting last summer. This visit Emily stayed in my home for two and a half weeks. She got thrown a few curve balls this visit and took them all in stride. First, my travel mates decided to leave a day early, I contacted her and on very short notice she was able to come a day early. Then right before I left, I found 2 abandoned kittens, I knew I wasn't going to be able to get them in anywhere on such short notice, so decided to keep them until I got back and then explore options for placement/adoption. Then one of my pets (a guinea pig) developed an abscess which warranted a trip to the ER vet, medication twice daily and a follow-up with his primary (exotic) vet. When she noticed a change in the guinea pig, she immediately contacted me and she was able to get him treatment. Without her close eye and swift intervention, things may not have turned out so well as a guinea pigs health can be quite fragile. She has been my pet sitter for a year, and during that time she has built bonds and relationships with my pets and knows their personalities, behaviors and preferences. She is able to quickly identify any changes. She is always very professional and communicates daily via texts and frequently sends pictures/videos. She takes great care of my pets and she always leaves my home neat and tidy. It is so nice to come home to happy, healthy pets and a clean house after being away. I can not speak highly enough about her! She is wonderful! I would recommend her for any and all of your pet sitting needs.”

About: I have owned or cared for my own dogs my entire life. Having lost my senior 'Stanley' last year I find myself longing for a dog's company and spirit. My own dogs have lived long lives - two for 18 years, one for 17 so I know how to give meds and care for their special needs. Stanley's petsitter recommended I try Rover - so here I am! I can come to your house, or bring your dog here to my 1/2 acre fenced in yard, with a dog door to the house and lots of time to share with your pet. I am retired and in Tallahassee or the vicinity walking or meeting up with friends. I have lots of free time to share with your pet. I have a 1/2 acre fenced in yard and a dog door to the house. I have a pool. I can come to your house if needed, or care for your dog here.

About: In my childhood I had many cats and I have now had a dog for almost 8 years! I started dog sitting about 3 years ago for my neighbors and I really enjoy it. I have taken care of their dogs while they were on vacation and have also dropped in while they were working. I have been around pets my whole life and I love them! I love going on walks and playing with them and am very passionate about animal care. I currently work part time at a bakery but my schedule is pretty flexible around that. I do school mostly online so work is the only time I wouldn’t be with the pet! I never work in afternoons, only in the mornings. Contact me and I can work a shcedule out for you! I am very diligent about following instructions for your pet and I am respectful of both your space and the pet! I am also very diligent about safety and will do my best to keep an eye on your pet the whole time. I will clean any messes that may be made and check locks before leaving every time. I always make it a habit to check for food, water, any potential messes, and locks every visit.

About: Throughout my life, I have always been drawn to animals. I have grown up interacting with dogs, cats, horses, cows, chickens, and more. In 2016, my family dog, Cayson, entered my life. Through caring for him, my love for animals intensified, as well as my caretaking skills. In my career, I am a caregiver, and that definitely spills over into how I take care of animals: with love, understanding, and care. I am currently working part-time as a CNA, so my weeks are relatively flexible. I have reliable transportation and I’m willing to travel to best accommodate owners. I care for any and all pets through asking the owner very thorough questions, paying attention to detail, and extending the same love and care I have for my own pet onto them.

About: Although my profile is new to Rover, I am well versed in the experience for years. My mother has been a Rover sitter since I was a child and I have much experience with her going to help at clients houses. About: I’ve taken care of every kind of dog since I was about 10 years old. Throughout the years I have cared for my neighbors and family friends pets along side my own pups. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate time and attention to the pets I care for. I plan my days so that walks, feeding times, playtime, and check-ins are done consistently and on schedule. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, my priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while maintaining their normal routine as much as possible. I carefully follow the owner’s instructions for feeding schedules, medications (if needed), potty breaks, and exercise so their pet experiences as little disruption as possible. In my home, I provide a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment where pets can relax, play, and receive lots of attention. About: I have approximately 3 years of experience working at an animal hospital as a vet technician and kennel technician. I also have experience working at wildlife rehab centers and a state laboratory for animal disease and pathology. Pets that I have cared for are dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, mice, ducks, fish, parakeets, pigs, mules, chickens, geese, cows. I have been the “go to” person for all family members that have pet care questions. As a teen, I walked my German shepherds every day, and took charge of providing medications like insulin and heartworm control. Fast forward 25 years later-I have cared for many animal species! Most of all, I love animals so much, and my pets are incredibly spoiled. I work full time 9-5 Monday through Friday in Tallahassee. The default available hours are shown as 3 -10pm; however, I am available for home visits and walks as early as 6 pm Monday- Friday. I have full availability for Saturdays and Sundays, and I will update my availability for holidays. I live in Monticello, but willing to commute up to 30 miles on weekends. I have a fenced 1.6 acre lot. I prefer to do home visits since pets feel safer at their own home, but they can be dropped off at my house as well. I will walk, feed, water, provide medications, have playtime and exercise, and observe for any overall health issues. And most of all spend time and comfort them while you are away

About: I Grew up in a small zoo with 4 dogs, 2 cats, 6 chickens, and a lizard. My personal babies, peanut (14 y/o chihuahua) and Sophie Cat (4 year old Siberian) are my pride and joy. Currently in school and living on north side Tallahassee, usually on the move but super flexible with moving things around! About: Vet tech experience. Multi species- furry, feathered or scales ! I have chickens, quail, cats, dogs, pet birds, a bunny and fish. Experienced In reptiles. My schedule is extremely flexible. I am Available any weekday or weekend unless otherwise noted. I travel on weekends roughly only 4- 5 times a year. 4 times a year I can provide feeding, potty breaks, play time, medications, treats and cuddles as cleaning up behind your babies when you are away, stress free for you!

Andrew was in contact with me everyday I was away. He sent videos and photos as well as exact times when they started and ended walks. Additionally Andrew asked permission before doing things. Despite being a fairly relaxed person with people using the amenities, I truly appreciated Andrew asking for my consent prior to using them. About: I grew up on a farm where I learned about the care for many different animals. I’ve pet sat for others since I was 16 and have been raising my own fur babies for almost 7 years now. I’m gentle, attentive, and value being on time. I’ll treat your fur baby like my own family with professional belly rubs and lots of walks! I am currently in nursing school, so when I’m not in class or at clinicals, I’m available to care for your pet however I am needed any day of the week. About: I have grown up learning how to care for animals. My house has always had at least 3 dogs living in it. My family has always had a passion for caring for and loving animals. We have rehabilitated many animals including a baby deer and bird. I have a dog of my own named Charley, who is my entire world. Charley is an active 4-year old King Charles Spaniel who receives regular walks, playtime, and attention. I have much experience with all kinds of dogs, cats, fish, and rodents! I have helped birth a litter of Australian Shepherd puppies and delivered a surprise litter of kittens on my own while visiting a friend. I am an animal lover and am not afraid to get my hands dirty. I am a full time college student, but my schedule is very flexible. I have many days where I have hours between classes or only one class per day. I would also be available for the weekends and/or game days. I will be in Tallahassee for the entire summer as well. I live in a townhouse with two roommates. We all have a dog, but all of our dogs are spayed, vaccinated, and friendly. I have a fenced in backyard as well. I live very close to Tom Brown Park and Apalachee Regional Dog Park, so my dog routinely visits. My dog gets high levels of love, care, and enrichment and is rarely left alone for more than 6 hours. I believe that animals are like children and require extensive attention, enrichment, and care to ensure that they have a wonderful quality of life.

About: I’ve been a dog and cat groomer for 4 years. I grew up on a farm taking care of all the animals from horses, cows, pigs, chickens , dogs , cats , turkeys etc. I’m very patient with animals who take more time to get to know new people who come into their lives and I love my senior animals who take a little longer on our walks :) I just moved to Florida from Arizona. This will be my full time job for now until I am able to save up to start my own mobile dog and cat business and hopefully be able to provide grooming services to all my lovely clients I am very reliable and flexible. I have always been the neighborhood help for pet care when my neighbors went on vacation. I’ve helped with feeding their farm animal and their indoor animals .
