About: I have approximately 3 years of experience working at an animal hospital as a vet technician and kennel technician. I also have experience working at wildlife rehab centers and a state laboratory for animal disease and pathology. Pets that I have cared for are dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, mice, ducks, fish, parakeets, pigs, mules, chickens, geese, cows. I have been the “go to” person for all family members that have pet care questions. As a teen, I walked my German shepherds every day, and took charge of providing medications like insulin and heartworm control. Fast forward 25 years later-I have cared for many animal species! Most of all, I love animals so much, and my pets are incredibly spoiled. I work full time 9-5 Monday through Friday in Tallahassee. The default available hours are shown as 3 -10pm; however, I am available for home visits and walks as early as 6 pm Monday- Friday. I have full availability for Saturdays and Sundays, and I will update my availability for holidays. I live in Monticello, but willing to commute up to 30 miles on weekends. I have a fenced 1.6 acre lot. I prefer to do home visits since pets feel safer at their own home, but they can be dropped off at my house as well. I will walk, feed, water, provide medications, have playtime and exercise, and observe for any overall health issues. And most of all spend time and comfort them while you are away

About: I have owned or cared for my own dogs my entire life. Having lost my senior 'Stanley' last year I find myself longing for a dog's company and spirit. My own dogs have lived long lives - two for 18 years, one for 17 so I know how to give meds and care for their special needs. Stanley's petsitter recommended I try Rover - so here I am! I can come to your house, or bring your dog here to my 1/2 acre fenced in yard, with a dog door to the house and lots of time to share with your pet. I am retired and in Tallahassee or the vicinity walking or meeting up with friends. I have lots of free time to share with your pet. I have a 1/2 acre fenced in yard and a dog door to the house. I have a pool. I can come to your house if needed, or care for your dog here.

About: I’ve taken care of every kind of dog since I was about 10 years old. Throughout the years I have cared for my neighbors and family friends pets along side my own pups. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate time and attention to the pets I care for. I plan my days so that walks, feeding times, playtime, and check-ins are done consistently and on schedule. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, my priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while maintaining their normal routine as much as possible. I carefully follow the owner’s instructions for feeding schedules, medications (if needed), potty breaks, and exercise so their pet experiences as little disruption as possible. In my home, I provide a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment where pets can relax, play, and receive lots of attention. I make sure they have a comfortable place to rest, regular potty breaks, supervised playtime, and plenty of affection. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their space with the same respect I would my own. I stick closely to the pet’s usual routine, provide walks and playtime, keep food and water fresh, and make sure the home stays tidy. I also provide updates and photos so owners can feel reassured that their pets are happy and well cared for while they’re away. My goal is always to make pets feel loved, safe, and stress-free while their owners are gone.

About: Although my profile is new to Rover, I am well versed in the experience for years. My mother has been a Rover sitter since I was a child and I have much experience with her going to help at clients houses. I have experience with dogs of all ages from birth to end of life, as well as cats. I am an avid animal lover and owner of exotic pets as well. I grew up on a homestead and have experience with many types of pets including livestock! Dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, rodents, birds, insects and invertebrates, I have experience with them all. I grew up with 10 dogs! My schedule is very open. I am currently post bachelors taking a break from school, as well as pursuing my degrees in Art and Anthropology. I have flexibility in my schedule to meet your needs, and I love to have detailed communication to make sure that we are always on the same page. As a sitter I am prepared to follow your pet's schedule and specific needs to keep them as comfortable and happy as possible while you are away. I would want to meet you and your pets beforehand to make sure I have a clear grasp on their schedule and needs and follow them precisely. I am very detailed when it comes to directions for my own pets so I am prepared to give your babies the same care I want for mine. I have so much in depth experience with dogs growing up on a homestead, and many of those experiences involved emergencies. I know what signs to look for to make sure your dog is safe and healthy, and will always err on the side of complete caution. I have a strong respect for safety and health and want your dog to not only be taken care of but observed in depth to make sure they are getting everything they need from me. I hope to leave every client better connected with their dogs.

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals ever since I was 12 from dogs to cats and farm animals! I grew up with my own dogs, cats and horses along with chickens. Family and friends always relied on me to pet sit for them whenever it was needed because they knew they would be cared for just like my own! I treat them with as much love and care as if they were my own. I have lots of patience and skill with all ages of animals. I can walk, bathe, feed and play with your animals however they may need it. I currently work full time but get off around 4-5 pm daily and have most weekends off. I don’t mind stopping in to walk them in the afternoons or stay over night with them. I have 5 acres all fenced in and allow my dogs plenty of outdoor time but also willing to keep yours separated from mine if need be! My dogs are super friendly and love meeting a fellow friend.

About: I have grown up learning how to care for animals. My house has always had at least 3 dogs living in it. My family has always had a passion for caring for and loving animals. We have rehabilitated many animals including a baby deer and bird. I have a dog of my own named Charley, who is my entire world. Charley is an active 4-year old King Charles Spaniel who receives regular walks, playtime, and attention. I have much experience with all kinds of dogs, cats, fish, and rodents! I have helped birth a litter of Australian Shepherd puppies and delivered a surprise litter of kittens on my own while visiting a friend. I am an animal lover and am not afraid to get my hands dirty. I am a full time college student, but my schedule is very flexible. I have many days where I have hours between classes or only one class per day. I would also be available for the weekends and/or game days. I will be in Tallahassee for the entire summer as well. I live in a townhouse with two roommates. We all have a dog, but all of our dogs are spayed, vaccinated, and friendly. I have a fenced in backyard as well. I live very close to Tom Brown Park and Apalachee Regional Dog Park, so my dog routinely visits. My dog gets high levels of love, care, and enrichment and is rarely left alone for more than 6 hours. I believe that animals are like children and require extensive attention, enrichment, and care to ensure that they have a wonderful quality of life.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats while volunteering in a number of foster and nonprofits so I have plenty of experience with temperamental pets and know just what to do to make everyone’s day better! I am available everyday! I am currently waiting for my seasonal job to start so I have plenty of time for you and your pets. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and other large and small animals since I was 10. I have also worked in a vets office which has only increased my knowledge and care giving skills for all types of animals. About: I’ve taking care of pets since I was a child, always love to meet new pets and get their personalities. I love walking dogs and playing with cats. I have a full fenced yard and live in one of the best neighborhoods in Tallahassee. I work a full time job but always willing and able to sit or care for pets, I do work from home in my hours I do both, at home and at your own home depends on preference and pets personality, which ever you’re more comfortable with and makes the pet happy

About: I've grown up around and cared for animals (mostly cats and dogs) throughout my entire life.. family, friends, and neighbors come to me to care for their pets in either their homes or mine. I have a cat and dog, and have dealt with cats of all demeanors and dogs of all sizes. I abide by Brandon McMillan's Lucky Dog methods, and am experienced with standard training. Also know how to administer meds, and handle emergencies if they occur. I live in SE Tallahassee on a fenced acre, and my entire house is pet-friendly.. it's kind of like a little slice of paradise. Also have a pool, if yours likes to swim like mine. Pet care is normal for me. They let me know what they need, and I take care of it. I work from home, so am always around to ensure pets are taken care of as required. Regardless of where your pet is watched, their needs and your expectations determine care requirements. At your home, I'll follow your routine. My place is on mine. Before committing to anything, I require an introduction meeting with any pets I'll be caring for.

About: I’ve been a dog and cat groomer for 4 years. I grew up on a farm taking care of all the animals from horses, cows, pigs, chickens , dogs , cats , turkeys etc. I’m very patient with animals who take more time to get to know new people who come into their lives and I love my senior animals who take a little longer on our walks :) I just moved to Florida from Arizona. This will be my full time job for now until I am able to save up to start my own mobile dog and cat business and hopefully be able to provide grooming services to all my lovely clients I am very reliable and flexible. I have always been the neighborhood help for pet care when my neighbors went on vacation. I’ve helped with feeding their farm animal and their indoor animals . About: Vet tech experience. Multi species- furry, feathered or scales ! I have chickens, quail, cats, dogs, pet birds, a bunny and fish. Experienced In reptiles. My schedule is extremely flexible. I am Available any weekday or weekend unless otherwise noted. About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I've been dog sitting for over a year and had my own dogs for more than 7 years. Caring for animals genuinely makes me happy, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. I don't see Rover as just a job, it's more like a hobby that I really enjoy. Since I can't have a dog of my own right now, caring for other people's dogs allows me to enjoy their company and give them lots of love and attention I have a very flexible schedule and spend most of my time at home, which allows me to provide plenty of attention and care throughout the day. Dogs are rarely left alone and can enjoy multiple walks, playtime, potty breaks, and lots of companionship. I live in a spacious home with a large backyard where dogs can safely play and enjoy outdoor time. Since I have a flexible schedule and spend most of my time at home, pets receive plenty of attention throughout the day. About: As an aspiring vet, it is my duty to ensure the health and welfare of any animal in my care. I make sure to carefully observe and notate any abnormalities while pet sitting to make sure any issues are caught early on Currently working part-time as a veterinary assistant, on my journey to come a veterinarian, pet care is my everyday life and has been for the past 5 years. I have easy access to a large dog park, and open fields so plenty of outside time is used. My home is also very spacious, plenty of roaming around space with a fenced deck for sunbathing as well
