About: I have owned or cared for my own dogs my entire life. Having lost my senior 'Stanley' last year I find myself longing for a dog's company and spirit. My own dogs have lived long lives - two for 18 years, one for 17 so I know how to give meds and care for their special needs. Stanley's petsitter recommended I try Rover - so here I am! I can come to your house, or bring your dog here to my 1/2 acre fenced in yard, with a dog door to the house and lots of time to share with your pet. I am retired and in Tallahassee or the vicinity walking or meeting up with friends. I have lots of free time to share with your pet. I have a 1/2 acre fenced in yard and a dog door to the house. I have a pool. I can come to your house if needed, or care for your dog here.

“Sarah was such a life saver for me when I was in the area. She took great care of my dog Roo and sent so many pictures and videos throughout Roo’s stay. I felt so at ease knowing Roo was being well taken care of like she was one of their own. Will definitely have them sit for us again!”

“Took great care of our 14 year old pup. Sent daily updates and photos and was very good at communicating with me. Would recommend and would use again in the future.”

“Both of the only pet resorts in Tallahassee were closed when I contacted Diana. She literally saved my weekend plans from crumbling: I needed to take a trip out of town, and the buses don’t allow dogs onboard. Sophia demonstrably enjoyed her stay at Diana’s and got along very well with her friends and her daughter. She was fed well and given plenty of space in the backyard to play. Sophia came home very happy and well fed. I would gladly hire Diana again to take care of Sophia. Five stars!”

“Poe loved his stay with Kendall and Matthew! I got lots of photos and loved seeing him enjoying their backyard. My pup can’t wait to stay with them again!”

About: I am a CPDT I’m trained in understanding dog body language and know what your dogs need I monitor your dogs all day. I train puppies and will accommodate to your training requests. I also teach agility classes and tricks classes. I have a really nice dog of my own that loves to do agility as well. You can talk to me about what tricks and agility you would like your dogs to know, if this is something that you would like. Your dogs will have a nice playmate as well but I also understand if they need to play by themselves. I am also able to administer meds if needed. Your pups are in great hands and will not be bored at all. I work from home and will have time to train and play with your dogs. I will also be able to bath your pups if wanted or needed but only for dogs that like being bathed I have a fenced in yard that is big and has a separate agility area to train in. They will have rest times and ac or heating depending on the weather. They will also have water at all times I also have a really friendly dog that is trained to do Service dog work and he is super friendly to all dogs and he is a big boy but friendly.
“I couldn’t be happier with the care Ayana provided for my dog, Apollo. She made sure he was comfortable, well taken care of, and had everything he needed. Ayana was also prompt and consistent with her updates, which gave me great peace of mind.”

“Amanda is always great from start to finish! She is so easy to work with and responds quickly to messages. Charlie is well cared for and receives lots of affection. And he loves her sweet, gentle pup. We get several photos and videos every day. She is very understanding about Charlie's idiosyncrasies(he managed to get into her secured garbage can one time). We board Charlie with Amanda everytime we visit Tallahassee.”

“Collette is all we and (Lucca) hoped for when we selected Collette from Rover. We had clear communications, on-time appointments, daily updates on our dog, and as a bonus, similar senses of humor. Lucca came home to us a happy pup and we did not worry while we were away.”

“Yara and her family were so friendly and Oreo fit in well with her crew. She sent pics throughout the stay and kept us updated and was extremely responsive for dropoff and pickup.”

“Judith was amazing and flexible with time for a last minute trip I had. My dog is normally nervous around others, but Judith made her comfortable and she really enjoyed her stay! She also sent me plenty of pictures to make the separation easier for me, as this was my very first time leaving Shadow. She enjoyed it so much she almost didn’t want to come back home. After her stay, she was so calm! I was very pleased with the care.”

“Our dog loves staying with Melanie! She loves exploring the property. It's a fun vacation for her, and we have appreciated Melanie's communication and care for our fur kid. We will be using Melanie again!”
“This is the 3rd time we left Sonny with Ainla (overnight) He’s very comfortable with her and she knows his personality and takes care of him soo well. Highly recommend!”
“Alicia took very good care of my babies. She spent lots of time when them. She was quick to answer any emails I sent to her while on my trip and also sent pics. I would DEFINITELY use her again and will recommend her to my friends. ”
About: I grew up around animals of all kinds — dogs, cats, cows, pigs, and more — so caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. I currently have two spoiled pups of my own, Milly and RJ, and I treat every pet in my care like family. One thing that sets me apart is that I’m a teacher, so during school breaks and summers I’m home throughout the day and able to provide plenty of supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and attention. We also have a fenced-in yard where dogs can safely run and play. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I pride myself on being dependable, patient, attentive, and communicative so you can feel comfortable while you’re away. 🐾 Since it’s summer break, pet care fits naturally into my daily routine! We usually start the mornings slowly outside before it gets too warm, giving the dogs time to play, explore, and enjoy some fresh air. After breakfast, we spend time relaxing inside where the pups can nap, play, or follow me around while I read or get things done around the house. In the evenings, we head back outside for more playtime, walks, fetch, or whatever activities your dog enjoys most. I’m home throughout the day, so potty breaks, attention, and supervision are never a problem — your pet will get plenty of love and care all day long! 🐾 I will care for your pet like they’re one of my own! 🐾 I know how important routines and comfort are for animals, so I do my best to stick closely to your pet’s normal schedule for feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and rest. Pets in my home will receive lots of attention, love, supervision, and cuddles throughout the day. We have a fenced-in yard for safe outdoor play, and pets are welcome to relax inside with me just like family. Treats are always given with owner permission, and I’m happy to accommodate any specific instructions or preferences to help your pet feel comfortable and happy while you’re away.
“Kayla was very communicative both times my dog was under her care. She sent many updates and pictures. I sent her a schedule my dog follows and she was able to follow it to a T. I will be using her for sitting/boarding services again!”
