Full time dog boarding and training
I work from home boarding and training dogs. I have several of my own, and I love having others’ pups stay with me! I am home almost the entire day every day with the crew, and I work with the dogs from the time I wake up until I go to bed. We live on 12 fenced acres, so if your pup likes to run she can run to her heart’s content! If your dog is more “indoorsy” we can hang out inside. Dogs are allowed on the furniture at my house (at the owner’s discretion), and I enjoy both outdoor playtime and indoor snuggle sessions. I’ve had dogs most of my life growing up, and I’ve been professionally working with dogs since 2015. I can’t wait to meet your dog! Dog boarding and training is my full time job. I occasionally need to pop out for appointments or to run an errand, but I am home with my dogs and any guests the majority of my time. I love my job, and I don’t want to be away from my doggie family and friends too much! I have two gates leading into the fenced property. The first as you enter the property is on a ten minute timer. When you arrive you can message or call me and I’ll open it to allow you in. The second gate is further down the drive and opens to my yard and home. It is on a ten second timer, and I’ll open it as you come approach. This extra bit of communication is a large part of my safety plan. The second gate keeps dogs contained, of course, but it also ensures no one can come into the area dogs play without my knowledge. This reduces the chances of dogs slipping out as a car drives in or someone driving too fast around animals in my care. Guest dogs are never outside without me, and if I have any inkling that a dog may prefer to play alone rather than in a group, I happily do one-on-one play times. I am set up to keep dogs separated both indoors and out, and when dogs aren’t being directly supervised everyone is separated. All meals and treats are given when dogs are separated as well- even the most chill dog can get a bit fussy if they think another dog is eyeing their snacks. If a dog has issues resource guarding toys please let me know so I can ensure they’re all put away before he arrives! Being Florida-based also creates a few specific safety hazards that we all should stay aware of: heat, snakes, and hurricanes. To prevent heat issues, I take dogs out for their biggest play sessions first thing in the morning and as the temperature drops in the afternoon. Throughout the day we do frequent, shorter play sessions and keep a close eye on how each pup handles the weather. I have an automatic water bowl for the pooches, and I keep two water tanks full for the dogs to jump or lay in as they please. If a dog acts like they want to go indoors, I bring them inside immediately to cool down on the tile. To avoid potential snake issues we keep the grass mowed short and the yard open and bright. Snakes don’t have a food source or hiding space at our house, and the constant activity from my own dogs keeps most wildlife out of the fence line. As for hurricanes, we don’t need to evacuate and will stay right here taking care of the dogs. We have a generator to ensure we and the dogs have AC, so you can rest assured that your dog will still be comfortable no matter the weather!

A typical day
When a dog stays with me, he can expect plenty of off-leash outdoor adventures! We can do walks on the fenced property, long distance fetch, and group playtime if your pup enjoys the company of others. If your pooch is prone to wandering or needs special attention, I have a smaller, fenced play yard and will do on-leash walks as well. In cooler weather, we can go hiking and exploring one of our nearby wooded properties. In warmer weather, we can go swimming at a private enclosed pool. I strive to make every day an adventure for the dogs in my care, and I love having client dogs return so excitedly for another stay with me!
