About: Apart from taking care of my own dog with epilepsy from ages 14-18, I worked as a dog walker in NYC at My Dog Hikes. While working at My Dog Hikes, I walked dogs, pet sat, and took them to the van for a day long excursion in up state New York. My schedule is increasing free these days after my graduation from Florida State University. I teach guitar lessons at Mason's School of Music one day a week, and would love to fill this time with animal interaction. I am an avid exercise enthusiast and would take them to the parks for walks or runs. When I care for a pet, I pay attention to what the pet is needing at that moment. It is easy to acknowledge and address these signs while doing other things around the house. I am able to take dogs out very easily to our backyard with a leash. When I am in a client's home, I am respectful of the space and leave everything exactly as they left it. I was required to do this in Manhattan often. I would receive a client's house keys and walk their dog while they were at work.
“Sarah was very good at communicating throughout the process and flexible for drop off and pick up times. We met for a meet and greet before booking - which is always nice. Sarah sent pictures and updates throughout the week while Chloe was at her house. This was the first time I have used Sarah and I would book with her again.”

In my home your dog will be treated like family. I also have a big yard for your dog to explore, perfect for playing catch!

“Margaret took amazing last minute care of our dog Ollie when we had a mix up with our planned pet care. She sent frequent pictures and we could tell that she wanted to make sure he was comfortable. We got him back very happy and content. We will definitely use Margaret again in Tallahassee.”

I am free on the weekends unless I am traveling out of town! I live in a first floor apartment in a gated community. All dogs are safe to walk around the complex as every dog is required to be leashed. I also have a lock to my room incase I do any animal sitting, so no randoms can come into my room nor apartment.
About: I've grown up with a bunch of dogs and also have walked my neighbors dogs in the past. I've had all the dogs you could imagine; big dogs, small dogs, puppies, senior dogs, energetic, lazy! You name it, I've taken care of it! I'm currently working part time in the summer so I would have loads of time to take care of your pups! I'm free basically every day before 10:30 am and past 2 pm! I am very flexible with my time so I could be at your home as little or as much as your puppies need. I will provide much love, care, or exercise for your doggies.

About: I’ve been pet sitting for family for years now and figured it’s time to branch out the business. I live alone, have a large back yard and a nice park nearby my house. I would pet sit at times when I am available to and take on pets in a manner that makes logistical sense for me and my schedule. I check on them and look for any signs of obvious discomfort or distress. Make sure they have time to use the bathroom/clean litter box and water. Most animals will try and communicate to you what they need, so it’s good to follow the routines they have at home and interpret what they need and at what time.

I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I’m committed to providing reliable communication and updates so you feel completely at ease while you’re away. I’m happy to work with pets that have special needs, medical conditions, or unique routines. Looking forward to meeting you and your pet! While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
