Our cat actually seemed to be fond of Alex and warmed up to her quickly! Alex always made sure the cat got as much (or as little) attention as she wanted, plenty of playtime, and kept up her usual routine for wet food. Alex was also very communicative, so it was fun to get so many pictures of our cat. I would definitely hire Alex again!”

About: In my childhood I had many cats and I have now had a dog for almost 8 years! I started dog sitting about 3 years ago for my neighbors and I really enjoy it. I have taken care of their dogs while they were on vacation and have also dropped in while they were working. I have been around pets my whole life and I love them! I love going on walks and playing with them and am very passionate about animal care. I currently work part time at a bakery but my schedule is pretty flexible around that. I do school mostly online so work is the only time I wouldn’t be with the pet! I occasionally work in afternoons, sometimes in the mornings. Contact me and I can work a shcedule out for you! I am very diligent about following instructions for your pet and I am respectful of both your space and the pet! I am also very diligent about safety and will do my best to keep an eye on your pet the whole time. I will clean any messes that may be made and check locks before leaving every time. I always make it a habit to check for food, water, any potential messes, and locks every visit.

“Andrew deserves more than 5 stars - We were gone during the severe cold snap that hit Tallahassee, and he not only set the spigots to dripping, he came back and checked them on the day when the pipes were temporarily frozen to either shut our water off or adjust them again. Our shy indoor cats are also responding to his visits - something that usually takes a couple of year - so he his working his magic on befriending them. In a nut shell, he has watched over our house and pets like they were his own. It is much appreciated.”
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of different breeds and ages for as long as I can remember! I have experience administering medication to senior dogs. I love to do more than just feed and check on them, like play, walk, and cuddle! I have two kitties of my own, and we have had wiener dogs in the family since childhood! I’m pretty open and available to follow your schedule! I typically have gone twice a day when I watch my friend’s animals, it just depends on what they prefer and what they think is best! About: I have been taking care of dogs for two years. I am more used to taking care of 3 big dogs at a time. I love all types of dogs and all size of dogs. I also I have been taking care of senior dogs and dogs that have diets. I’m currently working a part time job. I will be able to plan meet ups and be able to respond anytime. I usually won’t be able to spend the night considering I do have a dog myself. I want to make this know I will NOT be able to house animals in my house. Reason I can’t is because my dog has anxiety and if she gets stressed out she gets aggressive.

About: I've worked at a few different animal hospitals as a kennel tech and receptionist. I grew up having lots of dogs and kitties. We also have a small family farm. We grew up taking care of goats, chickens, turkeys and any other farm bird you can think of. I've trained a few of my past dogs growing up. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
