I have taken care of high energy dogs like Huskies, and Belgian Malinois. I also have grown up with dogs that can be aggressive and dogs with anxiety. I can administer medication, take them for long walks and play with them thoroughly. I’m working full time but a flexible schedule. I’m usually working mid day with an hour break. And I can adjust my schedule with notice in advance to work around your pets needs. I will gladly play with your pets in a backyard, take them for long walks, play with them inside etc. My pets are like my kids and I will treat yours as such!

About: I've cared for furry friends since I could walk. My family raised me in an environment where caring for animals was a form of education, and one I'm happy to share every day. I own a business that operates in a seasonal fashion. This affords me the opportunity to be available where most aren't. Whether that be for day visits and walks, or night time check ins. My home is great for dogs. My old boy loves company. He's very gentle. I have access to walking trails as well. I am happy to accommodate for kennel trained or non-kennel trained.

About: In my childhood I had many cats and I have now had a dog for almost 8 years! I started dog sitting about 3 years ago for my neighbors and I really enjoy it. I have taken care of their dogs while they were on vacation and have also dropped in while they were working. I have been around pets my whole life and I love them! I love going on walks and playing with them and am very passionate about animal care. I currently work part time at a bakery but my schedule is pretty flexible around that. I do school mostly online so work is the only time I wouldn’t be with the pet! I occasionally work in afternoons, sometimes in the mornings. Contact me and I can work a shcedule out for you! I am very diligent about following instructions for your pet and I am respectful of both your space and the pet! I am also very diligent about safety and will do my best to keep an eye on your pet the whole time. I will clean any messes that may be made and check locks before leaving every time. I always make it a habit to check for food, water, any potential messes, and locks every visit.

About: I've worked at a few different animal hospitals as a kennel tech and receptionist. I grew up having lots of dogs and kitties. We also have a small family farm. We grew up taking care of goats, chickens, turkeys and any other farm bird you can think of. I've trained a few of my past dogs growing up. I also have experience giving animals meds, bathing, nail cutting and I love going on walks! Always respectful of your home and your pets and I have great references to back that up! :) I hope you pick me to care for your fur babies! I work in an office, Monday - Friday, from 8am to 5pm. I am free weekends. I’m a homebody that enjoys crafting, watching movies and hanging with the animals. While I’m with your animal, I try to show them a lot of love and care because I know the stress it can cause when your pet is away from its owner. So I try to be extra caring and like to give a few extra treats and cuddles while you are away.

About: Hi, I’m Analia! What separates me from other pet sitters is my unique experiences with animals while working and managing in a corporate setting (a pet store). I know very well the standard of care that the pickiest of clients (and animals!) expect, and my hope is to be allowed to extend such high standards and more to any pets in need of a buddy, and facilitate your peace of mind while they’re under my watch! My love for animals is boundless, and I can assure you that your animal will come back to you feeling super loved and appreciated too :) I am a happy and enthusiastic learner and most of all very, very adaptable to your pet’s individual needs and special requirements as well as your own personal day to day requests. Currently part time with a lottttt of free time in the afternoon! I am able to make drop in visits or walks as need be. I've also worked together with my partner (very loving and a stickler for rules- your rules!) to ensure we cover any gaps in timely care. My partner would be part of the meet and greet should we need to ensure your pets are comfortable and socialized if my visits before and after work do not suffice :) It goes without saying, I will heed whatever tips you have for your pets—they’re your babies after all!!— and I will absolutely make sure their safety and well-being is paramount while in my care! Never off a leash when outside, and always with my phone handy in case of emergencies. (Knock on wood!)

She was absolutely amazing! You can tell she genuinely loves animals and really cares about them. She was incredibly detail-oriented with all of my pet care instructions. She even came over a few days before the booking to go through everything with me, and then came back again the day before I left just to make sure she had everything right. She took photos and kept me updated every step of the way, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Most importantly, she gave my fur baby so much love and attention when I couldn’t be there. I’m so grateful to have found her! From now on, whenever I travel, I know I can leave home without worrying. I would 100% book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable!

About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and have always been the person who wants to love on every critter I meet! I have several sweet fur babies of my own and have cared for all kinds of animals over the years—from dogs and cats to horses, birds, lizards, rats, and pretty much anything else you can name. I’ve also had the opportunity to foster 3 medical puppies through LCHS, along with 1 non-medical foster dog. Fostering has given me even more experience with animals who need a little extra patience, attention, and TLC. I am also familiar and comfortable with administering medicine to cats and dogs from pills to shots and creams. I genuinely love animals and really enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality and quirks. I know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pets with someone else, so I take their care very seriously. When your pets are with me, they’ll be treated just like my own with plenty of love, attention, playtime, and cuddles (if they’re into that, of course!). I work a full time job M-F but am able to do lunchtime potty breaks. If you are interested in booking over weekdays it would be best that your fur baby can be alone for 4 hour increments. If your pet is people/pet friendly and you approve I am able to bring dogs to my office space. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I treat every pet like my own and take the responsibility of caring for them very seriously. I’ll follow your instructions and routines closely, and make sure they’re happy, safe, and comfortable. I want you to feel completely at ease while you are gone and pride myself on sending often updates and photos of your fur babies.

About: I have cared for animals throughout my life, from family pets in Puerto Rico to friends’ cats and dogs here in the U.S. Although I am new to Rover, I have several years of experience pet-sitting, house-sitting, and walking pets for friends and family. Over the past few years, I have regularly helped care for small and medium dogs, cats, and multi-pet households, including walking and caring for a Husky at different times over a two-year period. I am currently a proud cat dad to Mushu. I also call him Mushito and Mushín, and he is the most handsome black cat, he makes sure to remind me of that daily. I helped raise him alongside his sister, Mulan, and Mushu has also lived with other cats and even a turtle over the years. Because of this, I understand how important patience, routines, slow introductions, and calm attention can be in homes with multiple animals. I also pet sit Mulan whenever I visit Tampa. Back home in Puerto Rico, three beautiful dogs are part of my family, including two Belgian Malinois, Leila and Lyra, and a mixed-breed satita, Maya. I also grew up around animals in the Puerto Rican countryside, including chickens, sheep, pigs, cows, and horses. Because of this, caring for animals has always felt natural to me. As a young professional and professor, I understand how much consistency matters when life gets busy, especially during the summer. I will be in Tallahassee throughout the summer while teaching, and I would love to support others by offering reliable, attentive, and loving care for their pets. I am teaching part-time this summer, which gives me availability for pet care outside of my morning teaching responsibilities. I am generally available in the afternoons and evenings on weekdays, and I can offer longer check-ins or more flexible support on weekends. I understand that every pet and household has a different rhythm, so I try to be communicative and flexible when coordinating care. Whether your pet needs a quick drop-in visit, feeding, litter box care, playtime, a walk, or extra companionship while you are away, I will do my best to work with your schedule and your pet’s needs. At this time, I am not offering boarding in my own home. My services are focused on drop-in visits, dog walking, and care in the client’s home. I believe pets are most comfortable when their routines and familiar environments are respected, so I try to provide calm, consistent care that follows each owner’s instructions closely. Before caring for a pet, I like to understand their routine, personality, feeding needs, medication needs if applicable, walking habits, emergency contacts, and any boundaries or behaviors I should know about. I am attentive to details such as secure doors, leashes, gates, litter boxes, food and water, and keeping the home as I found it. I also value communication and can provide updates and photos so you know your pet is safe and cared for.

Emily is a great pet sitter! We usually have to kennel our pets and being out of their home stresses them out, so we turned to this app for help. Emily was great, made sure one of our cats got his cancer meds and made sure both were well cared for. If you're looking for someone for pets especially kitties she's your person.

About: Your dog’s new best adventure awaits 🐾✨ I believe every pet deserves more than someone simply stopping by to fill their bowl. I want your pup to feel safe, loved, entertained, and cared for while you’re away. What sets me apart is the personal attention I give every pet. I take the time to learn their personality, routine, favorite activities, and individual needs so I can make their time with me feel comfortable and fun. 🐶 Puppy care: I’m happy to provide patience, potty breaks, playtime, supervision, and help maintaining your puppy’s routine. 🐾 Senior care: I’m comfortable giving extra patience and attention to older pets who may need a slower pace, more frequent potty breaks, or additional care. 💊 Medication: I’m comfortable following detailed medication instructions and keeping your pet on their normal schedule. 🎾 High-energy pups: Walks, playtime, outdoor time, and plenty of attention to help them burn off that extra energy! 💗 Shy or nervous pets: I never force interaction. I let them warm up to me at their own pace and focus on making them feel secure. 📸 Photo updates: You’ll get adorable updates so you can enjoy your trip without constantly wondering how your baby is doing. I’ll follow your care instructions carefully, respect your home, and treat your pet like family. No rushed visits, no “just checking a box”—your pet gets real attention and care. You handle your plans. I’ll handle the tail wags. 🐾💕 Hellooo wonderful fur parents, I currently work part time so I can only pet care every day from 8 AM to 3 PM. However if you need me too I am willing to call out. I treat every pet as if they were my own and follow the owner’s routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and safe. I make sure pets have fresh water, meals on schedule, plenty of potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and affection based on their individual needs and personality. In a client’s home, I respect their space while providing reliable care, keeping them updated with photos and messages so they know their pet is happy and well cared for. I pay close attention to behavior, appetite, and overall well-being and will notify the owner immediately if I notice anything unusual. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free experience so both pets and owners can feel confident and comfortable while they’re apart.

I have also worked in a vets office which has only increased my knowledge and care giving skills for all types of animals. I am currently working with Rover full time so I will have time to play with your pets any time of the day with no worries that they will get the care they deserve. although I live in a apartment, I am more happy to take her for a friend for a long enjoyable walk or hike so they get the enrichment they need. Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of August 2026, there are 236 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Lloyd. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Lloyd. On Rover:

  • 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
