About: I’ve grown up with pets all my life. I’ve taken care of friends and neighbors pets for many years! All types of animals as well. I have taken care of high energy dogs like Huskies, and Belgian Malinois. I also have grown up with dogs that can be aggressive and dogs with anxiety. I can administer medication, take them for long walks and play with them thoroughly. I’m working full time but a flexible schedule. I’m usually working mid day with an hour break. And I can adjust my schedule with notice in advance to work around your pets needs. I will gladly play with your pets in a backyard, take them for long walks, play with them inside etc. My pets are like my kids and I will treat yours as such!

“Addison has been great with both our cat and our large dog on two separate week long trips. She gave us consistent updates and photos and happily addressed any concerns that came up along the way. We came home to happy animals on both occasions. We feel fortunate to have found her and plan to reach out to her again for any future pet care. Highly recommend!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs, cats and even horses since the age of 9. From drop ins, dog walking, overnights and even puppy classes I have worked with dogs of all shapes and sizes. I have potty trained, crate trained, and taught basic commands to both puppy and adult dogs. I have cared for senior dogs and have experience giving meds and care for post surgery/medical procedure. From the time I was a child I have loved being trusted to care for neighbors and friends animals while they were away. No animal is off limits as I love them all! I look forward to meeting and working with you and yours! I am currently staying at home while my husband works so my schedule is very open. Every day of the week is a possibility for drop ins or overnight care. I live in a home with plenty of space to crate your baby if they stay the night, ensuring their safety and ours. I currently own a 75lb goldendoodle who loves playing with other dogs. My neighborhood is incredibly dog friendly and is lined on a paved circle perfect for walking dogs. I usually do an AM and PM walk to allow dogs to potty, along with intermittently taking them out throughout the day. Most play time happens inside where there is a much lower risk of escape or overheating.

“I found out that my dog had heart issues less than a week before my vacation so I needed someone to come an extra time. Kylie was able to fit me in at the last minute. Kylie is responsible and really cared about my dog. I would definitely book her again.”

About: I have had a dog and a cat in my home my whole life and love all pets! My favorite part about meeting new people is letting them brag about their pets and showing all the amazing pics! Please reach out with any questions or concerns 🤍 I work full time from 8-5 near the Tulsa airport but am free before 8am and after 5pm when needed to get your pet all the attention. I also have a lunch break everyday that depending on distance I could stop and hang with your pet! I am free most weekends and my availability is always up to date. I am a big believer in positive reinforcement for pets and repetition to encourage the proper behavior! Walking a pet is about them not me and I love to take a sniff walk. As for dog sitting I would treat any pet like my own with lots of care, love, and concern!

About: One of my biggest joys in life are animals. Every chance I get, I look after the pets of family and friends. I have been watching my grandmas 2 dogs when they go out of town for about 2 years. I have friends who ask me regularly to look after their furry friends for days to weeks at a time. Ive dealt with puppies, animals in need of medication, and non-Potty trained animals. I have stayed night at houses or just stopped by regularly depending on what you prefer. I have worked with pit bulls down to chihuahua's. Aside from just pets I also volunteer at a horse rescue which had an abundance of animals and i have learned a great amount from that experience. Not to mention I have 6 animals of my own (4 cats, 2 dogs) whom I love dearly. I currently work Part-Time at ALDI as a Store Associate. We stay relatively overstaffed therefore i get a maximum of 20 hours a week, leaving me with plenty of time with your pets! Safety is always number one when it comes to all pets im responsible for. I prioritize the wellbeing an an animal as i do myself. For example, At my house we have a fenced in yard for the dogs to play but when my dog was a puppy, she would jump the fence. Therefore i would prioritize letting her out with a leash in the back yard to prevent her from getting harmed off our property.

I am extremely passionate about animals and I love helping people in any way I can. I am currently working a full time job on weekdays but my weekends are free to walk, stop in, or house sit for your pups or kitties! I am very good at following instructions so I usually take care of pets as closely as the owner would, with specific details on how you take care of them. I am very careful with the animal as well, speaking calmly and interacting sweetly.
About: Hello! I am a teacher looking to love on animals and make some money to help pay for my wedding! I have cared for many kinds of animals/homes over the years and pride myself on building close bonds with dogs and owners alike! As a pet parent to 2 dogs and 3 cats, I know how important it is to be able to leave your fur babies with someone you can trust. My former teachers, neighbors, and family members have all entrusted me with their dearest pets with satisfaction guaranteed! I am a teacher with summers off so pet care is currently my full time job! I can arrange my schedule to include twice or three times daily care minimum. I am also experienced in working with medically fragile dogs and cats who may need extra care! I make sure that the animals not only have their basic needs met, but also give them plenty attention and love…if they want it! I also respect that each animal is unique and may want solace over snuggles. I take the time to bond with every animal and figure out what they actually need.
About: What sets me apart as a pet sitter is my lifelong experience with animals and my genuine love for caring for them. I currently have two cats of my own, and I’ve grown up in a home with both cats and dogs since I was a child, so being around pets and understanding their needs has always been a natural part of my life. I have experience caring for pets of all ages, including kittens, puppies, and senior animals. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, administering oral medications, and following detailed care instructions closely to make sure each pet stays happy and comfortable while their owner is away. For dogs, I enjoy walks, playtime, and keeping them on a consistent routine. For cats, I focus on creating a calm, clean, and low-stress environment while respecting their boundaries and personality. I always adjust my care based on each pet’s individual needs and energy level. I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing regular updates with photos and messages so pet parents can feel at ease. My goal is always to treat every pet with the same care, patience, and attention I give my own. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine as a graduate student with a flexible schedule. I am available mornings, afternoons, and evenings depending on the day, and I plan my classes and responsibilities so I can consistently prioritize pet visits. I’m reliable about showing up on time and making sure pets get care without rushing. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always respect their space and follow all instructions exactly as given. I make sure doors are secured, food and water are properly handled, and litter boxes are cleaned thoroughly. I keep everything calm and consistent so pets feel safe and comfortable in their familiar environment. I also make sure the home is left clean and as I found it.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Capps. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
