We chatted for a bit about MacAroni's care requirements and I knew right away that she would take good care of our boy. She kept us updated with pictures and texts the entire time we were away. Being surrounded by animals (and animal lovers!) all my life has made me a true pet lover at heart. About: I'm an experienced and dependable animal lover who has cared for pets, most of my life. I make sure every pet gets lots of love, attention, and wonderful care….and lots of rubs! I am currently working short hours mostly morning hours for a few weeks, during the week days. Then off for the summer, so I’ll have plenty time to care for your pet. I’m open on weekends. My home has a fenced yard and no other pets, so I can give your pet, all the attention they need! I can easily crate your dog if needed. I have 2 teenagers that come and go and love pets!

About: I know how important routine and comfort is for pups when their human(s) go away. Staying consistent with the day to day norm is so important. I am committed to treating your dog the way you would while you are gone. A little more about me: I was born & raised in farm country with cows, horses, geese, chickens, cats, dogs ... you name it. I've been an animal lover from a young age and i've had / cared for horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, birds etc. I started dog / house sitting in my late teens for friends and family. What sets me apart? Dogs of all sizes have stollen my heart but none more than the big breeds people often shy away from. I love Canes, Danes, Rotties, Pitties, Mastiffs, Dogos, Presas ... the bigger the dog the bigger the heart! Having been a mom to a papered Rottweiler as well as a Rottweiler rescue I can say no one dog is easier than another, they are all so unique and individualistic just like us. After rehabilitating and training my rescue Rottie to be a service dog I began helping others train their dogs as well (by referral only). It's been 1.5 years since my last Rottie love transitioned to the rainbow bridge and though I am not ready for another one of my own I do have the time and love to give to the pups of others. About: I am a United States Marine Vet so I have base access if needed. I book up pretty quickly. I have a very open schedule until the end of this year for I’ll be attending college in January. I have a Service Dog, so I can assist in your training as well as keep up with the routines that you already have in place. I work from home which lets me have a pretty open schedule. I am available for holidays and weekends. I can also do last-minute bookings if needed. I have a huge dog park nearby that rarely any other dogs visit. Every animal has their separate place to eat/Sleep. Your pet will be treated as if they are my own.

“Barbara is experienced, intuitive, dependable and very caring. Our very picky cat responded well to her and she seemed to know exactly what he wanted or needed. She came twice a day at the times we agreed upon (even over the holidays) to feed him, give fresh water, change litter and take care of whatever else he was accustomed to. And to play with him, a lot! It was our first time leaving him with "strangers" , and of course we were nervous. But it all worked out very well and we were quite pleased with her.
