About: Experience with reactive and medically complex dogs of all ages. Have lived with dogs aged 7 weeks up to 16 years. Experience with nose work, agility, and obedience training. I am currently working as a remote consultant and am able to fully control my schedule! I typically get out with pups first thing in the morning for a larger walk/outing, but this depends on the dog and their needs. Your dog will be the only animal in the home while they are cared for. I am happy to accommodate any communication needs you have to help you feel comfortable (3 pics a day, no problem!) Or any other specific needs that are communicated ahead of time.

About: I have been caring for friends', family and neighbourhood dogs for more than 20 years. I've raised 2 male dogs from puppy to senior years, including a Keeshond with many health issues and special needs. He had multiple allergies - including to wood and his own yeast so required frequent medication and extra love and care. I have lots of experience with being patient with pups, taking them on walks that suit their pace, and giving them lots of attention. I am comfortable bathing, walking, administering medication, basic grooming and play time of course! All ages and sizes work for me! Recently, I spent fostering a sweet yet temperamental 13 year-old Corgi mix who I loved dearly. My condo is about a 12 minute drive from the Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and situated in a very dog-friendly complex. There is a vet in the complex and an emergency animal hospital across the street. I am professional, clean, organized and friendly. I will treat your home and pet the exact same way I treat mine - with the upmost love and care. Currently I’m home full-time so I am free to look after pets and homes any days of the week, day or night, for extended periods or one-offs. I live in an apartment about 850 square feet, which is great for medium to small sized dogs or dogs who don't need a lot of indoor space to run around. I have a safe and enclosed balcony. I make up for the small size by spending a lot of time outdoors.

About: I am an avid animal lover and have worked with animals professionally for 10 years. I am a Certified Positive Reinforcement Dog trainer, I have my Pet First Aid and I am also Certified in Fear Free Handling. I adopted a highly reactive dog 7 years ago, and with patience and consistency I have worked to control her reactivity to people, dogs and the environment. She was considered to be aggressive and so I am comfortable working with all types of animals, specifically those with special behavioural needs. I love to go on adventures and wll happily take your dog on long walks, hikes and trips to the beach if this is something your dog enjoys. Alternatively, if you have a senior dog, I am happy to keep them comfortable while focusing on low impact exercises to keep them mobile, while understanding their specific needs.

About: I have had my best friend by my side for the past 13 years, and have owned dogs all my life. I love to take the dogs to the beach or for a run, or just snuggle up on the couch. I currently work full time, while my partner works from home. The usual routine is an early morning walk/run/swim, pee breaks as needed, and then an evening walk. We are in a pet friendly building in the west end of Vancouver, and a block to the beach and sea wall. There are also a number of dog friendly parks close by for off leash freedom.

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all kinds since I was very young—dogs are truly the joy of my life. I used to have a sweet black Labrador Retriever named Dakota. We loved going to off-leash parks and beaches during the week, and hiking trails on the weekends. At night, we enjoyed relaxing on the couch and watching TV together. I work at an elementary school, so I’m especially available on weekends, and have open availability during winter, spring, and summer breaks. I understand how important your dog is to you, and I treat every pup with the same love and attention I gave to Dakota. I'm currently working at school, so I have busy schedule during weekdays. My schedule on weekends and during breaks (Summer, Winter and Spring) are pretty open! I live in Townhouse, so I have 200sqf fanced terrace where dogs can stay with me. I usually take dogs to forests or off leash park (beach) since it's close to my place.

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life. I have a natural care and ease with a variety of breeds, staying attuned to their personal needs & feelings. I am self employed and have flexibility in my schedule. It’s pretty easy to balance my schedule when I have an idea of what’s needed. I am happy to care for your dog in your home. Any and all requirements can be accommodated. Ie; if your dog has a collar for invisible fencing etc.
