About: I’ve taken care of dogs for the past 10 years since they’ve been in my life. I have experience with 3 large dogs at a time and have lots of time for walks and running around. My golden lab is a very well trained duck dog and great with all other dogs. Have a dog that needs lots of walks so I’m out a couple times a day with her. I work from home so I am always around to let dogs out and give them attention when needed. I have a fenced yard which makes it easy for potty breaks, also have experience walking multiple dogs at a time with out any issues

About: ***Welcoming new friends for walks/drop ins!*** With over 30 years of caring for and owning cats and dogs, we can guarantee that we will care for and love your pet as if it were our own. I started walking a neighbour’s dog and caring for cats when I was in my midteens - after years of longing for a pet in a pet-free home, it was a way to get a “fix”! Over the years I have cared for other people’s pets and eventually my own. I didn’t get my first dog until I was 29! Since then I have had 5 dogs. The most recent is Lily, a one year old potcake from Bahamas. She joins Poppy, our 5 year old mutt who loves to play and take up the whole couch. When your dog stays with us, they will be one of the family! With a big yard and dogs that love to play and go for walks, your dog will not only have fun but get lots of love too. We are a family that adores our dog and everyone else’s too! My kids (age 14 and 16) have had dogs in their lives since they were born and they are excellent with dogs of all kinds. If we are dropping in to see your cat or dog we can promise to give them whatever they need - cuddles, play time or to just sit in quiet company (I know, cats right? They want you but don’t want them to know they want you). If your dog needs a walk, it will involve lots of focussed attention, chatting, pats, and treats (if allowed - otherwise just lots of attention). We know what your pet means to you because we know what ours mean to us. And we know the kind of care and attention we want our dogs to have when we have to leave them behind. This is what we can offer you - a caring home away from home filled with affection and fun or personalized, attentive drop-ins or walks. A note about fees: Nightly fees are for up to 24 hours. Additional time that is not a full day may incur additional fees. Not all holidays or high demand times in Ontario or Canada are included by Rover (ie Family Day, March Break) so rates may be adjusted for holidays. I work part-time outside the home. My husband works from home 4 days a week. We fit dog-walking and playtime in around our work and family obligations and usually get at least one big nature walk in on the weekends. Our dogs are part of our daily lives, napping nearby while we work or hanging out with us while we read, watch tv, or play games. We have a large fenced yard and our dogs have the run of the house. We also have a crate and can offer it if your dog needs a space to rest or stay if we go out or overnight. Daily walks and play time, snuggles if they want to, care and affection are just routine around here. We are definitely dog people! I have taken a basic canine first aid course and keep basic first aid supplies in the case of an emergency before veterinary care can be accessed. This would only be used immediately in case of an injury and would not replace veterinary attention.

About: I've been around animals my whole life-my family regularly rescues and adopts stray cats and dogs, so I grew up helping care for them. Since I was 12, I've also been watching over pets for friends and neighbours. I've helped raise litters of kittens and understand the patience and attention animals need. I'm a student at the University of Waterloo with classes Monday to Thursday, so I'm free Fridays to Sundays. That's when I've got the time and energy to focus on giving your pets the attention they deserve! Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I'll follow your instructions, stick to their routine, and make sure they're secure and comfortable in their own space. I'll also make time for playtime and interaction to keep them engaged and happy while you're away.

At this point in my life i've had three dogs (african boerboel (childhood), belgian malinoise (current), french bulldog (current)), two rabbits (one currently), and a cat! I have dog sat on multiple occasions for friends and family and done fostering for the humane society (adopted the belgian after fostering) and am looking to expand my group of animal friends :D Currently I am working fully remote 9-5, and have the freedom (apart from meetings) to take time to spend with your furry friend throughout my day. Aurora loves other dogs and is not aggressive at all(she's not spayed). I am available around the clock to keep an eye on your furbabies and/or have a vehicle to visit your home for walks and anything else your pet needs. My cats keep to themselves but do not appreciate being chased, I can arrange to keep them in a separate room if need be. I can't wait to hear about all your little cuties and arrange for a time to meet you and them! I am able to provide 1 on 1 care during the stay :) I will keep you updated with photos and videos during the time they are with me to ensure you feel relaxed knowing they are safe and getting extra love! Because I have a fenced yard I can offer many potty breaks if needed and Aurora is available all day to play and tire your pup out! About: I am passionate about animal care and love and have over 15 years of experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small animals. I have worked with a variety of dogs from little puppies to leash-reactive, mature dogs. I'm comfortable with animals of all sizes and have a particular fondness for giant dogs! I have also had the privilege of working with our houseless population and supporting them learn to train, care, and love their animals. I'm affectionately known as "Aunt Rebecca" to many, and care for all animals as my own. I also have experience in large breed, reactive dogs and uncomfortable working with a variety of collar and harness types (martingale, prong, front clip harness etc). I have my own animals, my formerly reactive rescued lab whom I successfully trained as an ESA and therapy dog who supports homeless populations with mental health and addictions needs. I'm currently enrolled in a master's of psychotherapy Program full-time and in classes 2 days a week. And available at all other times and have access to a personal vehicle to help you care for your animals. I do have 3 furry friends of my own that I also care for. I ensure the health and wellness of my animals by providing them with all necessary vaccines in order to protect your animal's health and safety. My cats are indoor-only cats unless under direct supervision or leashed and harnessed. I am also comfortable in assisting dogs in off-leash situations, granted that they have proper recall and environmental safety.

About: I have always had animals in my life. I have 2 small dogs. Sophie is 14 yrs. and Willow is 12yrs. old. Selfishly I would love to have many more pets of my own. But, reality tells me, I can't. I can separate dogs if needed or use a crate for mine. All dogs have free range of my house. Lots of dog beds as well, for those comfy nap times.
