“Nicole is simply amazing and the best! I was going away for a week and needed someone to feed and administer medication to our diabetic dog in the morning. We were nervous as no one else had ever taken care of Chloe since she was diagnosed. Nicole came every morning and not only fed and gave Chloe her medication, but was patient, loving, kind and took the time to give cuddles and belly rubs and really make Chloe comfy! Nicole gave me updates and sent pictures and became Chloe's new friend. We have found someone we trust and will be having her come take care of Chloe anytime we are away! Anyone would be lucky to have Nicole take care of their pet.”

“Jennifer has been an amazing help! She has gone out of her way to ensure my puppy is comfortable with her and has helped set him up with a routine! She is helping with his training and ensures to leave detailed notes about how each visit went. Couldn’t recommend anyone better than her!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for the past 10 years since they’ve been in my life. I have experience with 3 large dogs at a time and have lots of time for walks and running around. My golden lab is a very well trained duck dog and great with all other dogs. Have a dog that needs lots of walks so I’m out a couple times a day with her. I work from home so I am always around to let dogs out and give them attention when needed. I have a fenced yard which makes it easy for potty breaks, also have experience walking multiple dogs at a time with out any issues

About: I’ve been a dog lover since childhood and have always had pups in my life. My husband and I share our home with senior rescues. They come with sweet quirks, special needs, and lots of love. I’m experienced with giving medications, managing routines, and making every dog feel safe and happy. Whether your dog is young and bouncy or a seasoned snuggler, I’ll care for them like one of my own. I’m currently available full-time, which means I can offer flexible scheduling and dedicated attention to your pet’s needs. Whether it’s daily walks, extended stays, or last-minute bookings. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. Whether they’re staying in my home or I’m caring for them in yours, I maintain a calm, secure environment and follow your routines closely. You can trust that your pet will be loved, respected, and well cared for every step of the way.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and other animals for friends and families. I have always loved dogs and I think I bond with them very easily. I understand the extent of the care they need and I always ensure that I provide that to any animal under my care. I’m a responsible university student and I have always loved spending time with any and all animals! I have 2 pets of my own and I have always been very keen to their needs and consider myself an excellent pet caretaker. I’m currently only enrolled in 1 course for the summer so I am available most of the week! I have a lot of availability in my schedule and my roommates are currently back home for the summer so I have a lot of space in my house for any pets! I have a fairly large space for your fur baby to play and feel comfortable while they’re under my care. I also have a big backyard and extensive experience with animals so you can trust me to take excellent care of them and provide them with a fun and safe place to stay while they’re away from you!

About: The best experience is life experience! My two rescues Lenny (potcake) and Hank (beagle) keep me on my toes. I have cared for senior dogs all the way down to puppies and could do the same for you! I am always learning, but the bottom line is I love animals! I am very detail oriented and committed to creating a positive experience for you and your fur children. I am patient and attentive and when it comes to pet care the bark stops here! (dog/cat CPR certified) I’m currently working full-time as an office manager from Monday-Thursday, so my availability is best during evenings and weekends. I have a car and am able to get around town quickly. As my client list grows I may try and expand my availability in the future. I am professional, reliable, and respectful. I will work with you to make sure your expectations for pet care are met and exceeded. Let’s work together to make a custom care plan!

About: ***Welcoming new friends for walks/drop ins!*** With over 30 years of caring for and owning cats and dogs, we can guarantee that we will care for and love your pet as if it were our own. I started walking a neighbour’s dog and caring for cats when I was in my midteens - after years of longing for a pet in a pet-free home, it was a way to get a “fix”! Over the years I have cared for other people’s pets and eventually my own. I didn’t get my first dog until I was 29! Since then I have had 5 dogs. The most recent is Lily, a one year old potcake from Bahamas. She joins Poppy, our 5 year old mutt who loves to play and take up the whole couch. When your dog stays with us, they will be one of the family! With a big yard and dogs that love to play and go for walks, your dog will not only have fun but get lots of love too. We are a family that adores our dog and everyone else’s too! My kids (age 14 and 16) have had dogs in their lives since they were born and they are excellent with dogs of all kinds. If we are dropping in to see your cat or dog we can promise to give them whatever they need - cuddles, play time or to just sit in quiet company (I know, cats right? They want you but don’t want them to know they want you). If your dog needs a walk, it will involve lots of focussed attention, chatting, pats, and treats (if allowed - otherwise just lots of attention). We know what your pet means to you because we know what ours mean to us. And we know the kind of care and attention we want our dogs to have when we have to leave them behind. This is what we can offer you - a caring home away from home filled with affection and fun or personalized, attentive drop-ins or walks. A note about fees: Nightly fees are for up to 24 hours. Additional time that is not a full day may incur additional fees. Not all holidays or high demand times in Ontario or Canada are included by Rover (ie Family Day, March Break) so rates may be adjusted for holidays. I work part-time outside the home. My husband works from home 4 days a week. We fit dog-walking and playtime in around our work and family obligations and usually get at least one big nature walk in on the weekends. Our dogs are part of our daily lives, napping nearby while we work or hanging out with us while we read, watch tv, or play games. We have a large fenced yard and our dogs have the run of the house. We also have a crate and can offer it if your dog needs a space to rest or stay if we go out or overnight. Daily walks and play time, snuggles if they want to, care and affection are just routine around here. We are definitely dog people! I have taken a basic canine first aid course and keep basic first aid supplies in the case of an emergency before veterinary care can be accessed. This would only be used immediately in case of an injury and would not replace veterinary attention.

“Vasya was kind to accept my request to drop in for Atlas on short notice. She sent us pictures while we were away and Atlas trusted her to come out after a while. Thank you Vasya!”

“Kalany successfully administered our cats medication when needed and gave her soooooooo many snuggles while we were away. We hate leaving our kitty behind, but Kelany gave us peace of mind while we were gone and we came home to a happy girl. Thanks so much!”

About: I've been around animals my whole life-my family regularly rescues and adopts stray cats and dogs, so I grew up helping care for them. Since I was 12, I've also been watching over pets for friends and neighbours. I've helped raise litters of kittens and understand the patience and attention animals need. That's when I've got the time and energy to focus on giving your pets the attention they deserve! Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. Paulina C.
“Paulina has loved animals her whole life. She treats them as if they were her kids. She ensures all their needs are met and is extremely responsible. She has a senior dog who was once overweight and is now in great shape and going strong thanks to Paulina's love and care.”

Salma S.
“Salma is amazing with pets! She took care of my dogs over a couple of weekends, and I could tell they were happy, relaxed, and well-loved. She’s responsible, communicative, and clearly has a natural connection with animals. Salma is a truly wonderful pet caregiver and I would absolutely trust her to care for them again. She watched my dogs over a couple of weekends, and I couldn’t have asked for someone more reliable, caring, and attentive. From the moment she met them, I could tell she had a natural ease with animals as my dogs took to her right away. She followed all of their routines perfectly, sent me updates and photos, and made sure they got plenty of exercise, cuddles, and love. I came home to two happy, calm dogs and a clean space, which speaks to how thoughtful and responsible she is. I highly recommend Salma to anyone looking for a trustworthy and genuinely loving person to care for their pets.”

Michelle S.
“I’ve known Michelle since high school and have seen her love and care for her pets her whole life. I can honestly say she is one of the most compassionate and dedicated dog owners I’ve ever met. She has owned three dogs over the years (Millie, Lenny and Hank), and I’ve seen firsthand how much love and care she pours into them. Her passion for pets is truly remarkable and she always makes sure her dogs are happy, healthy, and well-cared for. I have no doubt she will bring the same level of commitment and attention to any dog she looks after on Rover. She is dependable, loving, and knowledgeable, and any dog would be lucky to have her as their caregiver!”

Jennifer L.
“Jennifer is a capable and knowledgeable dog lover and pet caregiver who helped our family understand what it takes to care for and make space for a dog. As a friendly and generous person with a clear communication style, who is both a known problem-solver and known to have cared for several of her own dogs, Jennifer has also been relied upon by many friends to dog sit. Our highly energetic puppy labradoodle loves Jennifer's house and we have been grateful for her careful eye, concern and communication when she stayed with Jennifer while we were on vacation.”

“Vasya was kind to accept my request to drop in for Atlas on short notice. She sent us pictures while we were away and Atlas trusted her to come out after a while. Thank you Vasya!”

Kalany B.

“Thank you.”

Aidan D.
“Aidan took amazing care of our little zoo-one elderly dog, two younger dogs, and our two cats-while we were away for a week. Our senior dog needs a little TLC, while the younger ones are full of energy, and Aidan balanced it all perfectly. Even our picky cats warmed up to them! We got regular updates, and everyone was relaxed and happy when we got home.”

Jessica H.Star Sitter
“Jessica is awesome with dogs and cats :) She has been coming out on long dog walks with me and out on dog play dates everyday for 4 months. She is very calm and caring and the dogs are drawn to her :). She has 3 cats of her own and they are very well looked after. She would be a great dog walker and house/ animal sitter I have full trust in Jessica”

Rachel C.
“Rachel is by far the best dog sitter. My puppy loves her and she is very punctual when going for daily walks. Overall Highly recommended. I am very pleased that Rachel is my dog-sitter. There are times where I am very busy and sometimes I feel bad that I can't walk my puppy myself every day so whenever I don't have time, Rachel is there to help me out for 30min or an hour a day. Thanks to her, my puppy is a happy puppy.”

Elizabeth S.
“Elizabeth is exceptional at carrying for pets. She was the primary care giving for my rescue Mia last year for a month. Also throughout this year has taken Mia in several walks for me. Mia adores her and is always excited to hang out with her. My Mia as you know is a rescue and she is not easy to walk with other dogs around as she gets very protective of her person. Elizabeth is able to distract Mia and speak to her in a way that calms her down. So if you were to ask my opinion on Elizabeth’s ability to care for animal I’d say 100% she is amazing.”
Kira O.Star Sitter
“Kira has always been a lover of animals. Big or small it doesn't matter. So when I got my dog bear and needed help she was the first person I went to. She has watched my dog for days at time and walked him when I couldn't. Bear absolutely loves her. If your going to trust anyone to care for your pet baby she's the one for the job.”

Rebecca M.
“Rebecca is a respectful, responsible, warm hearted human who loves pets. I have witnessed her love her own pets and mine over the years. I could always count on her to watch my pets and go the extra mile to love on them in my absence. She went as far as to collect our neighbours Kitty when we experienced a fire alarm scare in our building because caring for pets is a top priority for her. She cares about doing a good job and gives extra pets, walks, play and even special photos when asked! I have gone with her to care for our friends pets and she is a natural. I trust her whole heartedly to care for any pet at any time.”
