About: For 2 years, I volunteered at Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society as a dog caregiver, learning through training and hands-on experience how to care for the especially vulnerable animals entrusted to our care. This included working with puppies and adult dogs, including some dogs that required more patience and care. However, most of my pet care experience comes from caring for my own small dog and various pets of family friends, especially their cats. I have always adored animals (often preferring them over humans... they're just easier to talk to, haha). I aim to be a gentle, calming presence for them. I love taking photos of the pets I care for and will be happy to provide photo updates! I am also more than willing to have a meet and greet beforehand to ensure I am a good fit for your pet. In addition to my previous training at the shelter, I have also taken the online Pet First Aid course offered by Canadian Red Cross because I am always seeking to add to my abilities to ensure the pets I care for are as safe and well-cared for as possible. Currently on summer vacation, opening myself up to plenty of opportunities to care for your pets! As a result of not currently having a set routine, my schedule will vary a little bit, but I will try my best to make my availability as clear as possible. Once university starts in September I will have a more limited schedule, but I'm still happy to help when I can. I will take the time to become familiar with the specific care needs of your pet as it relates to your home, ensuring I am clear on everything I need to know.

About: Hello I grew up on a ranch/farm and I did take care of our dogs and cats we had throughout the years. I fed them and loved on them and played with them. Taking them for walks, and playing with their toys and giving them love and affection. I'm a stay at home mom of 2 kids and I would like to help others with walking their dogs and caring for them during the day. And it's something that I can have my kids with me when they are not in school. When I am in your home to care for your animals. I'll make sure they have fresh water, give them food if requested. Give them some pets. Let them outside to go to the bathroom. Play with them. All while respecting that I am in your home.

About: I had my own dog for seven years, and have watched and cared for cats and dogs for friends, family, and coworkers several times over the last few years. I also have hands-on experience with gerbils, hamsters, and betta fish. I learned a lot about dog behaviour while having a dog, and I enjoy researching and studying to learn more about animal behaviour and proper pet care. I currently work a part-time job that takes up three days per week, but I have open availability on Fridays and Saturdays, as well as Tuesday afternoons and Sunday mornings and evenings. I will provide food and water as necessary for your animals, pee breaks and/or walks for your dog, and litter-scooping for your cat. I will respect your pet's boundaries and let them choose to trust me, rather than forcing them to interact (unless in an emergency which requires haste).

About: I have had small dogs all my life, and am also a proud Cat mom to 3 beautiful felines. My passion for animals has always been strong, and I have previously worked at Petsmart as a Pet care associate, caring for many small animals. I've babysat for friends/families dogs over several years, and am comfortable bathing&brushing if needed. Your dog will always have clean water on hand,and I believe long walks and fresh air are a NECESSITY, and a wonderful way for bonding. I love to play catch or play chase, whatever hobby your pup loves the most. Their happiness is of utmost importance. Does your dog love snuggles and pets??? I will make certain they get all the love they can handle. For boarding, I live in a townhouse, there is not a fenced yard, but there is a dog run just behind the parking lot for very easy access for potty breaks. I am home 24/7 for supervision and can provide as many walks your pup needs. There are tons of parks nearby and big spaces to run. No walk is boring for me, if they are sniffers, great. If they are barkers, no problem! If they like to cruise, you bet I can keep up. I'd be happy to answer any other questions you may have! I'm an open book. Some other information about me. I have been a Pharmacy assistant the past 15 years and have worked in hospitality caring for people and helping their health journeys. I have also worked as a Casual housekeeper at the Grey nuns hospital. I am currently not working and am available at all times to care for your pet! Whether that's extremely early wake ups or late nights, Im your girl!! I am home 24/7 with no children, so my animals are my passion. They have constant supervision and play. Attention is definitely not lacking in this household. If your dog requires crating, I will make sure to do so.

About: I am flexible with all my services, including house sitting, drop-ins, and dog walking. I have several years’ experience with dog walking and house sitting (including drop-in style), and I am an athlete so I have the physical strength necessary to handle large dogs. I am currently a professional volleyball player so while I’m not overseas I really enjoy leaving space in my schedule to dog sit! I have completed an internship position at a wildlife rehabilitation facility (WildNorth) and have a degree in conservation biology, so I am very passionate about animals! Growing up with multiple pets, I learned early on how to appreciate and handle them. I have also raised and trained a puppy myself, and I’m an amateur training enthusiast. The longest I typically would have to leave your dog alone is for 2.5 hours when I have a couple coaching sessions. I always communicate clearly what the expectations are for care, such as how your dog is on leash, if I need to watch for any escape artists, or any other concerns or quirks your dog may have!

About: Big, small, or medium. They are all the same to me. I will come to your home, and make them comfortable! I will love them! I have 3 dogs of my own, and they all have different personalities. One is high energy, the other is getting older so he’s getting slower, and one is scared and weird around people. I have multiple family friends, people I have never met and co-workers that I have watched for. I started when I was just about 15 and am 20 now. I have references if needed I currently work Full-time. So I will let them out and feed them before I leave, go straight home when done and do the same. Even let them out on my lunch if needed :) I will treat them, just as their owner treats them. I will give them cuddles, feed them when ordered to, take for walks if needed! And make sure they feel comfortable around me and the situation. When you need to leave, your dogs will be nervous and worried. To keep them from being overwhelmed, I find that them staying in a place that is familiar to them, is the best for them. Hence your home.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, and have been pet sitting, house sitting, plant sitting for about 6 years now for family and friends. I am happy to walk, chill, help potty train, and take care of your best friend. Whatever they need, I can typically make it happen. While I don’t have my own personal dog currently, I always treat clients as if they are my own. Happy to provide references, photo updates, etc if that is what you’d like! I am currently working part time, so I have lots of time to walk or just simply hang out with your pet. While some weeks I work summer camps, I am available in the evenings and weekends. Most of the time I only work twice a week in the summer! While I don’t usually bring dogs and cats to my personal house to respect my own pets, I do have a fenced yard in St Albert, with many trails and fields etc to take your dog to. I typically offer house-sitting with your pet, to help them stay in their own home and reduce stress. This helps keep their routine the same, resulting in a happier critter!
