“Jills care for our 13 year old diabetic cat was amazing. I reached out to her last min due to her previous 5 star ratings. Although Jill was booked, she made a special room for our old boy. She provided him an entire room with 2 litter boxes, a double bed and even a flower on the table. He was in a 5 star resort. She created a box for him surrounded by pillows and blankets for him to hide during the storms. She made a ramp for his easy access on and off the bed. Her communication was immediate and so professional. Jill provided us pictures of our old boy a number of times a day along with updates on his eating and insulin injections-that she was excellent at administering. He was cuddled, petted, taken care of and very happy. I would highly recommend Jill for anyone who wants their beloved pet to be in the very best care. We have already booked her again for his next stay. Words cannot say how impressed we are with Jill!”

About: As a child, growing up on a farm, my favourite part of the day was coming home from school and watching our little cat colony run across our yard to greet me. Every one got a good head rub before I walked over to their barn, checked on their fresh water, and filled up their food dish. Only two of the dozen or so cats we kept were "mine," but I treated them all with love...and good good cuddles. As soon as I had my first "grown-up" full-time job, I adopted a little orange kitten - "Naranjito" (Spanish for "my little orange one"; we call him "Jito" for short). That was 17 years ago, and he's still around as "my first baby." When my friend had a family illness and needed to re-home her ragdoll cat, "Sally," I was honoured to rake her into our home. A couple years later, Sally was diagnosed with diabetes. She was the most loving cat - purring from our cuddles as we pricked her ear to test her blood, and then gave her insulin from a needle when needed. Sally became my first-born child's first love and made it easy to teach my children about caring for animals and the joy of their unconditional love.

About: I have been taking care of animals my whole life, i can take care of puppies, mid size and large dogs aswell. I have a husky at my home. He is friendly aswell. I basically work from home, So I can give maximum care to the dogs. I will be taking for long walks and feed them on time. My daily average steps for this year is 9000, that itself says I am an active person. I have fully furnished house and the dogs will be safe inside the house. They can freely roam around the house and the doors will be locked all the time. I can also put them in crate if the client ask for.

About: I’d love to care for your pup with walks, visits, or overnight hang-outs! I work from home most of the time (setting my own schedule for days in the office) and will be able to spend tons of time with your pup with very few and flexible exceptions. We have our own pup, a young golden retriever who is very social and confident and silly. He plays and gets along really well with other dogs! Dogs who are well behaved, relaxed, and mellow are my favourite, but I love pups who have more energy as long as they listen really well and are gentle and kind :) We can go for walks in our quiet and safe neighbourhood and in the huge field outside our front door, and we can hangout together in our paved and closed off backyard! We are pretty mellow people and love having a pup around to walk and adventure with and to snuggle and chill with. I do not take dogs who do not walk well on a leash (unrelenting pulling is a no-go, but they also don’t have to be perfect or beside me the whole time - they can certainly sniff and explore and enjoy themselves), who are loud (consistent barking or whining), who have destructive separation anxiety, or who are aggressive with or have issues with other dogs or people (reactivity). If you’re in need of a sitter for a longer duration, it’s best if your dog would be comfortable in an office environment where other dogs may be present. It’s easier to accommodate longer stays if I can bring them with me to work, though I am able to work from home any time and certainly over shorter stays. Safety is my top priority followed closely by having fun! When outside I’ll keep your dog on a leash unless we are hanging out together in our closed off backyard.

About: Dog Boarding: your dog will be well cared for in a loving, fun, vibrant apartment! I work from home full-time, so they will get plenty of attention. He/she will have the company of my sweet 11 year old Maltipoo, Kirby (12lbs). Kirby and I take 3 walks a day: one first thing in the morning, in the afternoon and right before bed. We can adapt to your dog’s walking schedule and needs. I only accept house-trained pets (pee-pad trained is ok too!). Dogs can sleep in bed with me and are allowed on furniture. They will get lots of love and cuddles! Drop-ins: I can only do drop in visits to homes with free parking. If you work long hours or have to go out of town for the day, I’m always happy to pop in and give your pets some much needed social time! I can take them out for walks, play with them, feed them, change their water and any other light tasks they may need! I also love cats 🐈 House Sitting: everyone’s needs are different so send me a message so I can better discuss yours! I do have experience house sitting and caring for pets while their parents are away. I can care for your plants and do light housework if needed. I work from home so I would require a high-speed internet connection. Please let me know in your booking request if I am able to bring my dog. ****Please note that I have an un-neutered male dog and cannot board any female dogs that have not been spayed. I also do not accept intact males.**** Working from home means I am able to give them lots of attention. Weekends are usually spent at home if I have a dog with me. You will receive regular updates and pictures while your pet is with me. I work full time from home so your pets will always have me around. I will usually take my little guy out for a walk before I start work, at lunch, after work, and again before bed. Dogs are free to roam or be on furniture at my place. I crate my dog if I go out but am happy to adapt to my client’s needs. I give lots of attention and cuddles, and provide as much or as little stimulation as they need.

Between part-time jobs, pet care has become my favourite way to stay connected to animals and earn a little extra, and I bring real enthusiasm to every visit. I've been around animals my whole life. I had my dog for 9 years, and my childhood cat lived to an incredible 21 years old... so I'm completely comfortable with pets of all ages, temperaments, and routines, from high-energy puppies to senior animals who need a gentler touch. Beyond my own pets, I have hands-on experience with drop-in visits and care for other people's dogs and cats. I have a returning client whose cat and dog I've looked after multiple times while they travel. I understand how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your pet with someone new, so I always keep owners in the loop with photos and updates so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. As an outdoors person who loves walking and running, I'm especially great with active dogs who need real exercise (not just a quick lap around the block). That said, I'm just as happy with a calm check-in, a cuddle session, and a cozy afternoon for pets who prefer it lowkey. I currently work part-time and keep my Rover calendar updated regularly to reflect my availability. I’m generally available Fridays and Saturdays, and I’m also happy to take bookings on additional days off throughout the week as my schedule allows. I understand the importance of reliability and communication, so I make sure to keep my availability updated week-to-week and only accept bookings I can fully commit to. Whether it’s a scheduled walk, drop-in visit, or last-minute check-in, I aim to provide dependable care and flexibility whenever possible. I always aim to provide calm, reliable, and attentive care while keeping pets comfortable in their usual routine and environment. During walks, I pay close attention to safety, leash handling, traffic, and each dog’s individual temperament and energy level. I’m also comfortable with active dogs and happy to provide longer walks or runs when needed. For drop-in visits, I make sure pets have fresh water, food if needed, bathroom breaks, attention, and companionship while keeping the home secure and tidy. I value clear communication and provide updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are safe and well cared for.

“Jills care for our 13 year old diabetic cat was amazing. I reached out to her last min due to her previous 5 star ratings. Although Jill was booked, she made a special room for our old boy. She provided him an entire room with 2 litter boxes, a double bed and even a flower on the table. He was in a 5 star resort. She created a box for him surrounded by pillows and blankets for him to hide during the storms. She made a ramp for his easy access on and off the bed. Her communication was immediate and so professional. Jill provided us pictures of our old boy a number of times a day along with updates on his eating and insulin injections-that she was excellent at administering. He was cuddled, petted, taken care of and very happy. I would highly recommend Jill for anyone who wants their beloved pet to be in the very best care. We have already booked her again for his next stay. Words cannot say how impressed we are with Jill!”
