He has the calmest and gentlest way about him and even our chihuahua who struggles with new people warmed up to him quickly. I am currently working part-time, so I will have plenty of time to play/walk your pups! I'm available for boarding on weekends and most week days. I have a fenced yard with a big backyard for your dog to run, as well as the flexibility to also come to your house.

I am available for full time cat boarding or cat sitting at your house, and dog walking. I may take care of other tasks at your house as needed. I currently don't have animals at my house. I can offer cat boarding at my house or at client's home. I am available for the frequent visits at the client's home. In each option I will take care of emptying litter boxes, feeding the cat, cleaning the feeding dishes, changing the water. I am familiar with automatic feeders and pet water fountains. I’ve taken care of family and friends dogs while they’ve been away I’m currently working full time out of the house in Stratford Monday to Friday 8-4. I have lots of cat and dog experience, my dog is crate trained so I’m experienced in crating dogs depending on clients preferences. About: Hi, I’m Alex! I’ve been caring for dogs, especially Border Collies, since 2007 and have built a deep understanding of their personalities and needs. Growing up, I spent countless hours walking my dog, exploring trails, and using those walks as a peaceful escape. This connection to nature and animals has fueled my lifelong love for dogs of all breeds. When my Border Collie became a senior, I was her primary caretaker. From carrying her up and down stairs when she needed help to spending quality one-on-one time with her, I learned how to adapt to a dog’s unique needs at every stage of life. Currently, I live with two family dogs, Skye and Piper, and my cat, Lulu, which has given me even more experience with multi-pet households. I’m very mindful of dog behavior and body language, ensuring they always feel comfortable and safe. Having had dogs that weren’t always social with others, I’m skilled at managing walks and being aware of our surroundings. I always work on a dog’s terms, respecting their boundaries, and letting them come to me when they’re ready. My cat likes to come along in her carrier backpack for our daily walks. And of course I give them treats when they are demanded (in moderation). I will talk with my pets whenever they come into the room. Since I have border collies we are constantly playing with the toys, both inside and outside.

About: I have always had a passion for all animals. I have had dogs and cats my whole life, and love how they show love to you unconditionally. I recently completed my Veterinary Assistant course, and with my knowledge I am able to care for and recognize signs that others may not see. I am comfortable trimming nails and giving medications etc. to your pet if needed. I currently work full time night hours as a Personal Support Worker at Community Living. It is a sleep shift, which makes me free most days and weekends. Between fostering and work, I'd love to fit your pet into my schedule. I have a fully fenced yard and a dog and cat of my own. “Our dogs are like our children so we won't leave them with just anyone. Similarly, you want the most trustworthy of people when they are living in your home while looking after your pets. We chose carefully and met CJ on two occasions before setting the contract. We could not have been happier with CJ. We have two miniature schnauzers who are 11 years old (litter mates). They are reasonably well behaved until someone comes to the door following which there is about 5 minutes of welcoming the guest with barking. Other than that, they are quite well behaved. On the first visit with CJ, they took to him immediately ... they followed him around as though they'd known him for years. The visit was about an hour and after he left, they spent time searching the house for him. The second visit was over dinner at our home so we could help him get to know the house and become more familiar with our fur babies. They paid so much attention to him that we became like the furniture ... things that didn't interest them!! LOL The night before we left on our three week vacation, CJ came over for any last minute instructions and met the neighbours so he would have people to reach out to, should that be necessary, and so they would not wonder who this stranger was in our home. When the time came for our three week trip, CJ moved in and took over. He sent us photos of his adventures with the dogs ... every other day ... both photos and videos. I don't know if all pet/house sitters do this but it is both reassuring and makes the absence less difficult ... we both missed our fur babies a great deal. In terms of the house, CJ was great. We have a security system that tells us (no matter where we are in the world when doors open or close, when there is someone at the front door, if the alarm has been triggered) and apart from the first day growing pains of accidentally setting it off, CJ managed like a pro. The house was spotless when we returned and the dogs, while very happy to see us, searched the house for CJ again. CJ is a gentle giant (body builder) who gets down on the floor an plays with your animals, takes them for walks and has a lovely personality. He is kind and kept us informed on how things were going. I would not hesitate to have CJ take over for us again, should we need his service. We highly recommend him and believe you'll have a hard time finding anyone more competent or which whom you'll be more comfortable. Thanks CJ ... you're the best.”

About: Being raised up by my parents who love animals increased my love for dogs and cats. I raised 5 pets till now which include Labrador, golden retriever, Rottweiler and cats with love. I enjoy playing with them and it makes my day complete. I loved pets ever since I was a kid. I am currently a student and all of my classes are online. I hardly have 3 classes per week which last around 4 to 5 hrs weekly. I am available anytime and Anyday. I do have a big garden fenced properly with lots of trees, fruits and flowers. Pets will love it definitely for sure as it’s peaceful, relaxing and playful. Apart from that my neighbours have lovely dogs.

About: I've taken care of animals since I was 10. Friends and families and my own. Walking, feeding ,plays at dog parks. I want to help others when they can't be home to let out or feed their furry friends I work full time at home so I can do early morning drop ins and evening drop ins as well as weekend visits for any families needing this service. About: I've had adopted dogs my entire life. In my teens and 20s I worked as a kennel attendant and vet assistant at a busy suburban veterinary clinic. In my 30s I started fostering and adopting senior and special needs dogs. This gave me a very strong understand of how to effectively manage a variety of medical challenges such as: congestive heart failure, chronic eye ulcers, IBD, luxating patella, blindness, anxiety, dog reactivity, resource guarding etc. While I am certainly not an expert, I've done a lot of obedience, behavioral and sport (scent, barn hunt) work with my own dogs. This has improved my ability to adjust and adapt to each dog's unique style. In addition to all of this, I worked for a global animal welfare organization for 13 years and developed a strong understanding of the biological needs of all animals with a specific focus on companion animals. I work from home so I will always be with your dog. If I am required to be out of the house they will be cared for by my very dog savvy parents who live on the property. I live in a beautiful rural setting. The property is approx. 1 acre, 3/4 of it is fully secured fencing suitable for even the smallest dog. Your dog will have free, supervised access to the house and to the yard which has extensive gardens. If it's appropriate they will be walked daily - the beach is very close and there are countless trails. If I am dog sitting in your home, I will provide the same level of care and routine as if you were there.
