Erika recently spent the night at our home with our 11 month old Chihuahua Mix Rescue named Brillow. We have only had Brillow for a few weeks and she can be timid but Erika was patient with her and while they will need to get to know each other better over time to enjoy each other more I would absolutley recommend Erika. She was also very respectful of our home. True professional.

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats my whole life, including raising puppies and kittens into adulthood. I’m patient, reliable, attentive, and experienced with daily care, walks, feeding, playtime, and making pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine since I’m available mostly 7 days a week and have experience caring for pets every day. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets consistent attention, walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship whenever needed. I always make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for in my client’s homes. I follow their normal routines closely, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions, while keeping the home clean, secure, and stress-free for the pets.

About: I love animals, how can you not!? I would love nothing more than to provide great care for your furry family member while you’re away. There are lots of great hiking trails close to our house for walks and adventures. I understand the needs of animals and can communicate with them without words. They are magical creatures and deserve all the love. We promise to love on your pet and take the best care in your absence. I have a flexible schedule and work from home. Currently mornings start with a bathroom outing, followed by breakfast, playtime, another bathroom break, a hike and nap time, dinner, wind down, bathroom & bed -repeat : ) Routines are schedule around your existing rules and structures already in place. I have an arsenal of hiking trails and open concept house when your dog can roam and feel at home.

Alissa was amazing with my golden retriever. She looked after him for a week and communicated updates, photos and even got him a toy. She went above and beyond as my boy had some separation anxiety and loose stools, and she knew exactly how to care for him and let me know right away. She left the home very tidy. I would 100% trust her with my pet again.

Rayvnne was amazing! She kept me in the loop with my animals and sent photos frequently during my trip. She did a courtesy meet up beforehand to make sure that my animals were a good fit for her services and was accommodating with my dog’s reactivity. I absolutely recommend her to look after your fur kids!

About: I’m Katie, a 32-year-old registered physiotherapist with a background in small and large animal veterinary care. Before physio school, I volunteered at several small animal clinics and worked at equine vet clinics, and I’ve spent years sitting for family and friends across a wide range of animals and situations. I’m comfortable with the pets that may stress other sitters out. I’ve managed diabetic cats on insulin, including timed feeding, injections and glucose monitoring. I’ve administered puffers to asthmatic cats, cared for geriatric dogs who needed extra patience around their bowels and bladder, and barn sat for up to 20 horses alongside a pack of Blue Heelers. I follow each pet’s existing routine and commands closely, and I'm happy to respect your own house rules and boundaries for your pets. Whether that's certain furniture they're not allowed on, waiting before meals, certain commands they know (or you're teaching them), or parks they can frequent. You let me know the rules and I will stick to them. I’m a frequent communicator and you’ll get plenty of pictures, the good, the bad, and the ugly. If anyone throws up, has digestive issues, eats something they shouldn’t, or shows any skin changes or odd behaviour, you’ll hear about it. You’ll also hear about the fun stuff, new friends made at the park, happy outings, and any bonding breakthroughs if your pet tends to be on the shy side! My work is almost entirely virtual, so during a sit I’m typically working from your home rather than an office. I’m up early, morning feeding and outdoor time happen at a reasonable hour, and I build my day around whatever your pet needs. Dogs get regular outdoor breaks and I usually position myself where I can see if anyone’s asking to go out. Occasionally I do step out for a mobile appointment or in-person meeting. When that happens I’m typically gone four to six hours at most, and I’m always upfront about it in advance. If your pet needs more frequent attention, I adjust accordingly and limit those outings. Evenings wind down early, so a late-night bathroom trip before bed is always on the schedule. In my spare time I often go on runs or hikes and will happily take your pet along if that's reasonable for them! I’m happy to travel, take extended sits of a week or more, and accommodate last-minute bookings when my schedule allows. I just ask that cancellations come with enough notice that I can adjust my plans. I respect whatever rules and practices owners have put in place and take them seriously, whether that’s garbage day protocols, which door the dog uses, topping up the bird feeders, or putting the patio cushions away each night. I pay attention to the details because those are usually the things that matter most to people when they hand over their keys. My background in veterinary care means I’m not rattled by medical situations or behavioural quirks, and I know when something warrants a call to a vet versus when it just needs monitoring (but don't worry, I'll always keep you in the loop and won't make those decisions unilaterally). For pets specifically, I follow the owner’s established routine and protocols as closely as possible, same commands, same schedule, same rules around furniture or off-limit spaces, and I communicate proactively if anything comes up. If you're training a puppy and you do an hour of practicing new commands every day, I'm there. If you have a senior citizen who needs to go outside 10-12 times a day, I'll make sure my schedule works for them. I leave every home at least as clean as I found it, usually cleaner. If I use the last of something I replace it, and I’ve been known to stock the fridge before I leave. I grew up in a rural country home so septic systems, well water, landscaping maintenance and snow shoveling are all par for the course in my books. I'm happy to handle little home care situations and will always communicate with home owners about things like leaks, power outages, maintenance flags and anything broken.

Ellie was amazing with our 3 little trouble makers! They all warmed up to her very quickly, and made our evening that much more enjoyable knowing the pups were in great hands. She was also extremely flexible when plans began to change. The weekend absolutely would not have been the same without her. Thanks again, Ellie!

Jacobe responded very quickly to my last minute request when another sitter had to cancel last minute. He made a trip to meet myself and Millie before the booking was confirmed so we could make sure Millie and I were comfortable with him. He took very good care of both Millie and my friend's dog Buddy, sent lots of photos so we could see how it was going and left everything in great shape, including a couple of tired, happy dogs. I would definitely book him again in the future.

Jillian was wonderful to work with and took exceptional care of both our cat and dog. She also took excellent care of our home while we were away. Jillian was very responsive during our trip when we checked in; she was also very good about sending us updates and pictures of our fur babies. We felt totally at ease knowing our babies were being well cared for. Jillian is awesome and I would highly recommend her. We will be booking her again for our next trip.

Laura took great care of my dog Charlie and my cat Sophie for an overnight stay. She communicated well, made sure everything was taken care of, and even shoveled part of the deck so she could safely access the gate to walk Charlie. When I got home both pets were happy and relaxed, and Charlie clearly liked her. I’d definitely recommend Laura to anyone looking for a dependable and caring pet sitter.

Laura was absolutely excellent! Her quick response to the time frame we asked for and her willingness to visit prior, to ensure she, Abbey, and us were the right fit. Laura is obviously a "pet" lover. When she met us her first greeting was to Abbey and Abbey recognized that immediately. They were fast friends. Due to impending bad weather and our travel needs, Laura arrived the evening before to make sure Abbey was taken care of. Their time together went very well. Lots of walks, playtime and cuddles...we weren't here; however, it was so obvious when we returned how happy Abbey was. She was excited to see us of course but kept checking on Laura too. That told us they enjoyed each other. The house was exactly how we had left it. Laura was very mindful of this. What a pleasure to return to a clean & tidy home. Laura is so thoughtful-had even purchased milk & eggs and left some of her delicious home made soup knowing we'd be tired when we returned. Truly, Laura is wonderful.
