About: I’ve always loved working with dogs and started by walking and helping train my neighbors’ dogs before finally convincing my parents to let me get our own family Goldendoodle, who is now 11 years old. Through consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, I’ve trained all dogs I’ve worked with to walk calmly off leash with reliable recall. I’m comfortable with dogs of all ages and personalities, including puppies and senior dogs. I’m currently working part-time as a registered nurse, which gives me lots of flexibility throughout the week for walks and drop-ins. I have availability during weekdays, evenings, and most weekends, allowing me to spend quality one-on-one time with your pup! I genuinely enjoy being active outdoors and making sure dogs get both the physical exercise and attention they need to feel happy and comfortable while you’re away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my goal is to make them feel as safe, relaxed, and comfortable as possible by keeping their routine consistent. I’ll ask about your dog’s usual schedule, feeding routine, walking preferences, commands, favourite activities, and any special needs so I can recreate the environment they’re familiar with. Safety and trust are extremely important to me, and I always prioritize secure walks, close supervision, and clear communication with owners so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.

About: Hi, I’m Alex! I’ve been caring for dogs, especially Border Collies, since 2007 and have built a deep understanding of their personalities and needs. Growing up, I spent countless hours walking my dog, exploring trails, and using those walks as a peaceful escape. This connection to nature and animals has fueled my lifelong love for dogs of all breeds. When my Border Collie became a senior, I was her primary caretaker. From carrying her up and down stairs when she needed help to spending quality one-on-one time with her, I learned how to adapt to a dog’s unique needs at every stage of life. Currently, I live with two family dogs, Skye and Piper, and my cat, Lulu, which has given me even more experience with multi-pet households. I’m very mindful of dog behavior and body language, ensuring they always feel comfortable and safe. Having had dogs that weren’t always social with others, I’m skilled at managing walks and being aware of our surroundings. I always work on a dog’s terms, respecting their boundaries, and letting them come to me when they’re ready. Whether it’s a high-energy pup needing an adventure or a senior dog needing gentle care, I’m here to provide tailored attention and love for your furry friend. I can’t wait to meet your dog and learn more about their personality and preferences! I currently feed and walk my two border collies and cat everyday. My cat likes to come along in her carrier backpack for our daily walks. And of course I give them treats when they are demanded (in moderation). I will talk with my pets whenever they come into the room. Since I have border collies we are constantly playing with the toys, both inside and outside.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and have over 15 years of experience working with all kinds — dogs, cats, and plenty of farm animals too. Living on a farm means I’m used to every personality and energy level, from playful pups to calm seniors. I have two well-behaved, playful dogs of my own and a large property where they can safely run and explore. I’m super flexible and will do whatever makes your pet feel most at home once they’re here — whether that’s extra playtime, snuggles, or sticking to their routine. When your pets stay with us, they’re part of the family too. I’m available Fridays through Mondays, plus the occasional weekday if needed. Your dogs will get tons of outdoor time, play, and attention while they’re here. I’m flexible with pickup and drop-off times and happy to adjust to whatever fits your schedule best. We live on a large farm property with lots of open space for dogs to run, play, and explore safely. Both of my dogs are well-trained with great recall and have never wandered off the property. That being said, if your pup is more comfortable on a leash, I’m happy to accommodate that — we have trails on the property that are perfect for long walks and sniffing adventures. Dogs are welcome to make themselves at home here — they’re free to curl up on the couch for cuddles or lounge wherever they feel most comfortable. I’m happy to follow whatever routine or rules your dog is used to at home, whether that means crating, specific feeding times, or anything that helps them feel secure and settled. Every pet that stays with us is treated like part of the family, with lots of love, attention, and care.

About: Hey, I got my start in dog training with my puppy, Hugo, a highly driven Australian Shepherd. I kept running into challenges, and it felt like our relationship couldn’t improve. So, I decided to take an extensive six-month dog training apprenticeship at NobleK9. After that, I worked as a kennel tech, gaining even more hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds and temperaments. I’m a balanced dog trainer, which means I use a mix of reinforcement and clear structure to help dogs become well-behaved and confident! Now, I offer private training and dog walking in Kitchener, focusing on real-world results that make life easier for both you and your dog. About: Growing up we constantly had many different pets. May it be cats, dogs, birds or even fish. I love animals and the joy they bring, so as soon as I got my license I started a successful pet sitting business back home. Now that I have moved to Port Hope, I am looking to start back providing care and assistance to my fellow neighbors and their beloved animals. I am extremely patient and kind. I love all animals and if I am not familiar with a particular care process, I am happy to learn. I look forward to being able to provide my services to anyone who needs it. I do currently work 8.30 to 4.30 Monday to Friday but my work is on a hybrid model and I live close to work. I am willing to come and help before work, after work and even on my lunch breaks if needed. My weekends are very open and flexible as well. I currently rent and have 2 cats, so taking care of your pet in my home is possible but restricted. While taking care of pets in their home. I will abide by all house rules. I will visit your home and provide a minimum of 3 walks a day for drop ins, if I am housesitting then more care will be provided. I will also brush your pets and if you wish more grooming services, this can always be discussed.

About: I’ve taken care of pets my whole life and I am passionate about keeping them healthy and happy! I’m 21 years old and am a student, i’m just starting out on Rover after moving away from home to go to school and i’m missing my furry friends a lot! I’m available for drop-ins and walking!
