About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life. Growing up with my little dog Lacey from the age of 8 is what first made me fall in love with having a dog of my own. I was also lucky enough to be a dog mom for many years and he brought so much love and joy into our lives! Over the years, I’ve cared for friends’ pets, both dogs and cats, ranging from large breeds to small, as well as small animals such as bunnies! I have lots of experience with pets including walks, feeding, brushing, active play, and of course, plenty of cuddles on the couch. As a current cat owner, I’ve also gained experience caring for senior pets and understand that they may need a little extra patience, attention, and care with their daily routines and individual needs. More recently, I’ve had the opportunity to foster a puppy, which I’ve found incredibly fulfilling and rewarding. About: Growing up we constantly had many different pets. May it be cats, dogs, birds or even fish. I love animals and the joy they bring, so as soon as I got my license I started a successful pet sitting business back home. Now that I have moved to Port Hope, I am looking to start back providing care and assistance to my fellow neighbors and their beloved animals. I am extremely patient and kind. About: We’re a dog loving family of four with pugs and a St. Bernese! Our kids love all dogs and can’t wait to give cuddles and snuggles to all their new friends! I am a recess and lunch supervisor at school so I only work 40 minutes two times a day! I'm home a lot to give your dog(s) plenty of playtime and attention! We have a big backyard and I always supervise the dogs when they are out for their playtime! We also have a big front yard where I do short leash walks and live on a quiet gravel road for much longer leash walks. We did a meeting prior to our booking to ensure fitment, and were warmly welcomed at their home. It was clean, and felt very warm. (That was Deborah-Lynn's perfect descriptor.) Stella had an absolute blast playing with the other dogs there. Deborah-Lynn made sure that they had LOTS of outdoor play time in her backyard, and she even convinced Stella to wear her booties in the frigid temperatures over the time of her stay. I also felt at ease leaving Stella in her care because of her knowledge and experience as a vet tech. Stella has many allergies and epilepsy, and Deborah-Lynn already knew how to handle both these conditions. I received tons of great photos of Stella while we were away as well as written updates and assurances that she was getting her medication on time. I would highly recommend Deborah-Lynn for anyone who needs a very attentive sitter who is up for the demands of a high energy dog!”

About: Hi! I have had cats and/dogs in my home since I was 2. I have a big heart and plenty of patience. I have experiences with feeding, walking, cleaning, washing, adhearing to explicit vet instructions for medical needs, reactive personalities, practicing training, being gentle where needed and playing with animals. I am away from home from 8:00am-4:30pm on week days for work. I am unavailable for active care during that time unless for example, this includes a cat who can thrive independently while I am away for the day. At my home, I have yard in the back and lots of neighbourhoods to walk through. Inside my home I have the space to care based on a mutually agreed-upon plan of care. I live in an apartment and it is a nice quiet space. If care involves boarding with me, I would currently prefer you send your own supplies per the needs of your pet(s) (bowls, food, treats, litter/litter box/puppy pads/poop baggies, leash, toys, and other). If at a clients home, I am respectful, a great listener to the needs of the pets, the preferences of the household and am great at communicating when facilitating active care.
