About: Hi, I’m Alex! I’ve been caring for dogs, especially Border Collies, since 2007 and have built a deep understanding of their personalities and needs. Growing up, I spent countless hours walking my dog, exploring trails, and using those walks as a peaceful escape. This connection to nature and animals has fueled my lifelong love for dogs of all breeds. When my Border Collie became a senior, I was her primary caretaker. From carrying her up and down stairs when she needed help to spending quality one-on-one time with her, I learned how to adapt to a dog’s unique needs at every stage of life. Currently, I live with two family dogs, Skye and Piper, and my cat, Lulu, which has given me even more experience with multi-pet households. My cat likes to come along in her carrier backpack for our daily walks. And of course I give them treats when they are demanded (in moderation). About: Growing up we constantly had many different pets. May it be cats, dogs, birds or even fish. I love animals and the joy they bring, so as soon as I got my license I started a successful pet sitting business back home. Now that I have moved to Port Hope, I am looking to start back providing care and assistance to my fellow neighbors and their beloved animals. I am extremely patient and kind.
