We are super over the top with our dog, we have a million toys, stairs for the couch, a crate, a playpen, and I even printed out a 4-pager of instructions because I’m THAT dog mom haha! Cindy literally took it all in with no issue at all, she was amazing about training our pup and sticking to his routine, she took him out to pee every couple of hours, and literally he just got to be snuggled and loved constantly everyday. I could not be happier to have found such a wonderful family who is so good with our pup, so patient with all my details and instructions, so amazing about sending updates and pictures the whole time so that we could see how comfortable and happy our pup was. Cindy is our number one choice for someone that we can trust to take the best care of our little guy and we will go to her as often as she is willing to have him! About: I have grown up around pets since I was a newborn, from quiet pets who want to cuddle to loud high energy pets who want to play. Old dogs and new puppies. I have never met a pet that did not love me, from skittish barn cats to "female disliking" puppies. I may not know my neighbors but I know the dog in town. I have sat, walked and bathed my families dogs since I was young. Including my double skunk sprayed dog. I currently have a 3 year old husky who is very high energy and still sit my grandparents and aunts 6 year old dogs and my other aunts 11 year old dog. I am comfortable walking small, medium, large or giant dogs, puppies or multiple dogs. I am available to walk, feed or play with your furry friends during my lunch period, spare or after school in elmira. Or afternoons in any location nearby. “Gail was awesome, taking care of our dog Wally in her home for 5 days and nights in March 2026. Wally was walked 3x per day, and we felt totally comfortable after an initial meet and greet that Wally would be in good hands while we went on vacation. “Priyanka was amazing! We did a meet and greet beforehand to make sure everyone felt comfortable which put my mind at ease. She provided updates throughout Hudson’s stay so I knew how he was adjusting. It was my first time using Rover and Hudson’s first time staying away from home. He was nervous in a new environment and Priyanka went above and beyond to ensure he felt comfortable and ate his meals. Priyanka also has an active walk schedule so his exercise needs were met and consistent with his normal routine. I felt very comfortable my dog was in good hands and will definitely book again in the future. Thanks again! :)”

About: I have lived on a farm all my life. I have been taking care of animals for most of my life. I ensure good care of animals. I would take them for a walk, reward good behaviours with treats. I have a lot of property that I could take a dog to go on a walk. I have a Golden Retriever and her name is Juno, she is 3yr old and she is very friendly to all dogs . Mostly I am at home that gives me availability to take care of dogs on even short notice. I have lots of space on the farm for the dogs which is great for energetic dogs. I always have them on a leash for trust to be built, and so they are next to me at all times. I have my own space in my parents house so a more reserved dog can build trust at their own level.

Carrie is very knowledgeable about dogs which is a definite plus. Her dog is very friendly and Molly got along well. Nice to know your pet is having a nice time while you are away. When Hugo is in Deborah Lynn’s care, we get frequent updates in the form of pictures and videos and it’s nice to see Hugo having so much fun with his friends. Deborah Lynn is a natural with dogs and we’re lucky to have found her.”
“We've never used Rover before, but Madison and Jeffrey have been extremely patient with us and our boy, who is 8 years old and shy with strangers. They send us pics and updates regularly, which is helpful when I worry a lot. They're open to working with our dog's schedule, taking him for walks and letting him have his(overly large) crate to chill out in if he prefers to be there.
