About: I had a dog for 13 years, Buddy who recently passed away. I have always loved dogs and will provide the best possible care for your pup. I am currently working part-time, so I will have plenty of time to play/walk your pups! I'm available for boarding on weekends and most week days. I have a fenced yard with a big backyard for your dog to run, as well as the flexibility to also come to your house.
“Even though Elle is a dog person, she is also capable of caring for cats! Elle housesat AND cared for three animals at once which set my mind at ease especially when our travel plans did not go well. Elle is responsive, flexible, and kind. 10/10”

“Shelley and her husband Norm were absolutely amazing. They looked after my needy, elderly dog at my home for a week and I couldn't be happier. Our dog has a lot of limitations and requires special care, and they took all instructions very seriously. I feel that he was very well cared for. Also, during their stay a couple of problems arose with our old house including the pipes freezing, and they handled it all with incredible patience and grace. I'm so grateful for their help.”

About: I’ve been around pets most of my life. All of my kids are grown and have pets that come for overnights. I’ve helped my neighbour when she dog sits for her sister. I have a foster dog staying with me that is healthy and fully vetted. I don’t have a pet of my own. Please feel free to reach out for availability as I work in Waterloo Tues and Wed and could do drop ins or walks on those days. I have some flexibility in my schedule and might be able to accommodate outside of what’s been indicated. I’m working FT but I’m only in the office Tues,Wed and work from home Mon, Thurs and Friday. I leave home at 8am and return about 5:30. I don’t have a fenced yard so your pet will be tied in my yard for quick bio breaks but we will take lots of walks. If I’m staying at your home, same thing. Of course, if there is already a routine in place, that will be followed the best that I can
“Taylore was great. Very laid back but also took amazing care of Juniper while I was away for the weekend. My dog is very large and has a mind of her own and Taylore took on the challenge with no issues at all.”
About: Dog lover through and through. Life hasn’t been the same since we lost our beloved 18-year-old Bichon a few months ago. Caring for her from puppyhood all the way through her senior years, including providing the extra patience and attention older dogs need, gave me hands-on experience with every stage of a dog’s life. My love for animals started long before that. When I was younger, I volunteered at local pet shelters where I helped walk dogs and clean the cats’ room. Being around animals has always come naturally to me, and I’ve always gravitated toward them. Over the years, I’ve also cared for many friends’ and family members’ pets, giving them the same love, attention, and reliability I gave my own dog. I truly understand that pets are family members, and when they’re in my care, their safety, comfort, and happiness always come first. Honestly, if you can’t find me at a house party, chances are I’m wherever the pet is. Spending time with animals is simply where I’m happiest, and I’ll treat your pet with the same kindness, patience, and affection as my own. I work full-time remotely from home, which allows me to have a flexible schedule and be present throughout the day. Because I’m home most of the time, your pet will receive plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship. Whether you need care during the workweek while you’re at the office, regular walks, drop-in visits, or someone to look after your furry friend while you’re away for a weekend, I’m happy to work with your schedule and accommodate your pet’s routine as much as possible. Your pet’s safety and comfort are very important to me. My home is quiet and calm, with no kids or other pets, which can be a great environment for animals who enjoy a peaceful space and lots of attention. Since I work remotely from home, I’m around throughout the day to keep your pet company and make sure they’re well cared for. They won’t be left alone for long and will always have someone nearby. While I don’t currently have a fenced backyard, I live in a quiet residential neighborhood that’s great for safe walks. I’m always careful when outdoors and make sure pets are secure and comfortable at all times.
About: I grew up with animals around me while growing up on a farm. I love them, I respect their space and boundaries, and I always try to make them feel comfortable and loved ❤️ Available 7 days a week. Very flexible schedule even on the weekends. I typically spend my day taking care of my 3 cats with varying needs. I will respect your home and do my best to keep it clean and tidy while I’m there. I’ll make sure your pet is comforable, with plenty of play and exercise! I’ll make sure to clean food and water bowls, clean up their waste areas (litterboxes, pee pads, etc.), and give many cuddles if they're comfortable with me!
About: Hi! I'm Taya, a 37-year-old lifelong dog owner offering dog walking, pet sitting, and in-home pet care in KW and the surrounding area. I've spent my life raising large breeds, and the dogs that have shaped me most weren't the easy ones. I know from personal experience the anxiety that comes with finding a trusted person to take care of and understand the needs of a strong and reactive dog. My Cane Corso (147 lbs) was reactive — dogs, bicycles, scooters, you name it — and together we developed what I call defensive walking: staying proactive, reading the environment ahead, and keeping situations calm before they escalate. I know how to manage powerful dogs on a leash and how to advocate for reactive dogs in the real world. My Rottweiler had seizures, which means I'm also experienced in recognizing and responding to seizure episodes and comfortable administering medication on a schedule or in an emergency. I don't panic — I've been there. What I offer: Dog walking (including reactive and large breed dogs) Pet sitting at your home Medication administration if required I'm a responsible, experienced dog person who understands that your dog isn't just a pet. I am currently unemployed by choice. I have spent a few years in Australia and recently returned to Canada. I have all the time to dedicate towards pet care. I have a fully fenced yard with my home, with no other animals here. At your home, I will follow your rules. Pats and cuddles on the couch if it's allowed; if not, we will sit on the floor and cuddle.
“Johnathan looked after my 2 large pups, 130lbs and 90lbs over 3 days in our home. I wanted them to be in the comfort of our home to not be stressed out. I've never used a pet service before and was a little wary myself, but Johnathan was easy to communicate with and kept me posted on how they were doing. All went great! Thank you Johnathan! 🥳”

Pet-specific care details • I confirm treat limits, what behaviour they’re used for, and any food or item that must remain inaccessible. • I ask about any recent food changes, sensitivities, or mobility concerns. • I monitor subtle changes—energy, appetite, bathroom habits—and communicate anything noteworthy. Cleanliness & preparedness • I ask where cleaning supplies, vacuums, or mops are kept in case of spills or accidents. • Litter, food areas, water bowls, and pet spaces are kept clean and consistent. Communication & emergencies • I provide daily updates and will clarify any instruction necessary to ensure accuracy. • I follow your emergency plan, including your preferred veterinarian. • Cameras, alarms, or home-specific systems are respected exactly as directed. About: I’ve taken care of all types of dogs since I was six years old. I’ve had all types of dogs. My first was a Golden Retriever, then a Doberman, a, Shitzhu, a pitbull, and I currently have two 8-yr old Australian Shepherds. I’ve also had the pleasure of watching, training, feeding, playing, walking, hiking, checking in on many of my friends, family and neighbours dogs over the years. “Aaron did a great job taking care of our 2 giant fur babies, our home and our plants! He provided updates and pictures and I felt secure that everything was well taken care of while we were away for 5 days. We came home to happy dogs, a clean house and peace of mind! I would happily hire him again next time we go away.”

About: Hiya! I'm an all-out animal aficionado, especially when it comes to our cuddly pals. My gig as a pet sitter is driven by one thing: a genuine desire to shower pets with TLC and companionship while their humans are off doing their thing. With my own fur babies at home, I totally get the importance of good communication. Animals have been a big part of my life since day one - cats, dogs, bunnies, birds, turtles, you name it! I thrive on their company and can't bear to see them anything less than happy. I've also dabbled in rescuing stray animals in Mexico, giving them a cozy spot to crash and helping them get back on their paws. That means I'm no stranger to giving meds and extra TLC when needed. I'm a nature nut, so expect lots of outdoor adventures for your furry friend, complete with plenty of sniffs and discoveries. And when it comes to doggy training and fun enrichment activities, I've got you covered! I'm thrilled to spend ample time with your beloved furry companion! My schedule is flexible, Feel free to reach out! I can't wait to connect with you and your pet! I love taking long walks and allowing dogs to loosen up naturally (letting them be dogs) I am careful and responsible, always taking care of the safety of my pets and other animals and humans with whom we share the space and time.
“My last sitter left Copper in the middle of the night because they felt Copper was being difficult. I contacted Moody while I was in US, and his prompt reply saved my entire trip. He took Copper for multiple walks, and was really good in communication. Thank you Moody!”
