“We are so lucky to have met Sarah! She took such good care of Bruno and Sage while we were away over the weekend. Sarah kept us up to date on how things were going and even sent photos of our pets! This gave us peace of mind that Bruno and Sage where in good hands. Sarah went over and above with little extras about the house. We came back to happy pets and a very tidy home. We would highly recommend Sarah's services. Thank you again Sarah!!!!!!! Dave and I are so appreciative of everything you did while at our home.”
About: I’ve grown up with animals of all kinds my whole life, and have a very deep resonance with cats especially. I’ve had one in every house I’ve ever lived. As this was natural to me, I’ve had the opportunity to care for many cats and homes over the years, sometimes for extended stays. So far, there isn’t a cat I haven’t been able to befriend or at least find harmonious ground. I’m very confident in my ability to take care of these wonderful pets. Though I’m specialized in taking care of cats, my care has been extended towards all animals, and so I have a naturally affinity to caring for any pet. This includes both birds and dogs. I’ve always been able to get along with dogs just as much as cats. In the past few years I’ve had even more opportunity to care for them in my home when their owner leaves. This includes feeding, walking, playing, giving affection, and attending to any other instructions. I’ve also assisted in caring for a dog and a home in the past year. This experience has been for both seasoned dogs and puppies, and I love the unique personalities of each. I’m confident in working with small to medium type dogs, though I love the large ones too! I would also love to continue gaining experience with these wonderful creatures. I’m currently student online working towards a diploma, and I’ve left my schedule very flexible to be available to care for the pets of others! Any time of the week will do, when not taking care of other bookings, and I can make myself available. Currently living with a beautiful black cat named cricket, who loves to stop for attention in the hallways and get chin scratches in the Kitchen. As for the home of others, I do my best to bring my utmost respect to the home and attention to instructions, giving proper play time, affection, special care to walking for the unique needs of each dog, and feeding schedules amongst other roles. I take pride into maintaining the safety and standard of the home when in care or it.

“Abigail went above and beyond. From day 1 she kept us up to date on the goings on. I know our dog Bodhi will miss the attention she gave him 😁. I also feel like the house was in a better state than when we left. I would definitely recommend Abigail to anyone (and will be referring her to our friends).”

About: I grew up with cats and dogs my entire life. I was a trained foster volunteer at the Humane Society during my undergrad and currently live in a multi-generational home with my family with two cats and one dog. I have a background with handling Hounds and Terriers, and was previously an Airbnb Superhost for 8 years! I am a high energy, active individual with a strong sense of routine and gentle but commanding presence. I especially love walks in all weather and playing with pets. I currently work 9-5 during the week only with vacation and some remote flexibility. Growing up, I wanted to be a vet and live on a farm, but here I am working in banking and living in the suburbs! I am available for weekend and extended long-weekend care with a preference for pet sitting in rural communities in the Collingwood area and Prince Edward County where I split my weekend time. My almost 3 year old son will be joining me and I understand it is my responsibility to keep him safe and ensure he is not bothering your fur babies. I am very aware of the instincts of your animals to run especially when their family is away. I will be vigilant about managing any open doors and keeping your fur baby on their routine and watching for their signals. I will keep your fur family safe. With my background in being an Airbnb super host, I am happy to look after your house plants and provide light house cleaning, gardening, grass and snow removal.
About: I love animals, and caring for them brings me a lot of joy. I have experience with both cat and dog sitting, and pets tend to trust me quickly because of my calm and caring nature. In addition to pet sitting, I was a cat owner for over 30 years and cared for three very different cats, which taught me patience, attentiveness, and how to adapt to each pet’s unique personality and routine. I treat every animal with kindness and respect. I am available for full time cat and dog boarding at my house, home visits, dog walking. I can take care of other pets too. I currently don't have animals at my house. I can offer cat or dog boarding at my house or at client's home. I am available for the frequent visits at the client's home. In each option I will take care of emptying litter boxes, feeding, cleaning the feeding dishes, changing the water. I will play with the pets by providing stimulating toys, training dogs. I love taking the dogs for long walks. If they like them. I am familiar with automatic feeders and pet water fountains. I can do other tasks around the home as needed.
“My last sitter left Copper in the middle of the night because they felt Copper was being difficult. I contacted Moody while I was in US, and his prompt reply saved my entire trip. He took Copper for multiple walks, and was really good in communication. Thank you Moody!”

“Jacobe responded very quickly to my last minute request when another sitter had to cancel last minute. He made a trip to meet myself and Millie before the booking was confirmed so we could make sure Millie and I were comfortable with him. He took very good care of both Millie and my friend's dog Buddy, sent lots of photos so we could see how it was going and left everything in great shape, including a couple of tired, happy dogs. I would definitely book him again in the future.”
“Rayvnne was amazing! She kept me in the loop with my animals and sent photos frequently during my trip. She did a courtesy meet up beforehand to make sure that my animals were a good fit for her services and was accommodating with my dog’s reactivity. I absolutely recommend her to look after your fur kids!”

“Alicia was so lovely to work with and our puppy Ferris loved her! Ferris can be a tough dog to walk and Alicia tackled it with ease. She sent us cute updates and made sure he got lots of playtime and snuggles. We will definitely be using her services again!”

“Adam is extremely responsive in all contact, whether it's questions or just generally updating you on your pets while in his care. He genuinely loves animals!!! I work from home, which means I can give dogs lots of love and attention throughout the day. Every break is spent walking, playing, or giving belly rubs. I live beside the Collingwood trail network, so I often take dogs on longer, scenic walks through the trails or down by the water. Your pup will enjoy exercise, fresh air, and plenty of companionship. I treat every dog like family, giving them attention, playtime, and comfort so they feel safe and loved at all times.

“This was our first pet homesitting with Jillian and she was awesome! Initially we had a lot of trepidation about having a "stranger" stay in our home with our beloved dogs, Cash and Freedom. We pored over the Rover choices that lived nearer to us, but ultimately contacted Jillian, based on her bio, which exuded intelligence, maturity and an extensive animal knowledge base. After a telephone interview and follow-up home visit, we had no concerns. Jillian was calm, conscientious, professional and she had our dogs (who are overly exuberant "greeters") relaxed and respectful within minutes. It was obvious that she was a very experienced dog handler. Echoing other reviewers, Jillian was dedicated to our pets' wellbeing and she communicated regularly and effectively including photos, during the pet sit. We appreciated that Jillian could work remotely, as our dogs were used to having someone at home most of the time and it was important to us that she was able to maintain their routine. We returned from vacation to a pair of relaxed and content pups. In addition to the excellent pet care, our home was neat and tidy ... she even left us some home-baked cookies! A pet sit with Jillian is worth the cost, as she invests her own time "pre" and "post" the actual booking and makes your pets her priority for whatever length of time she stays with them. We would recommend Jillian to any other pet owners looking for exceptional care, we will be booking her to stay with Cash and Freedom again!”

About: Hi, I’m Jaida! If there’s one thing people know about me, it’s that I love animals and am happiest when I’m around them. I currently work part-time as a dog groomer and previously worked at a dog daycare, where I spent my days supervising, training, and caring for dogs. Those jobs have given me experience working with dogs of different breeds and sizes, and helped me become comfortable handling different behaviours and situations. I also have two large dogs of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your pet. I’m currently an undergraduate student hoping to build a career working in veterinary medicine. Spending time with pets is something I genuinely enjoy. Whether your dog wants to spend the day playing or would rather relax beside someone, I’m happy to adapt to what makes them comfortable. Since I work part-time, I have a flexible schedule and can often make time for pet care throughout the week and on weekends. I’m reliable, easy to reach, and happy to send pictures and updates while you’re away. When caring for your pet, my goal is to make things feel as normal as possible for them. I’ll take the time to learn their routine and follow it closely, from feeding schedules to walks and any special instructions you may have. I know being away from their owner can be stressful for some pets, so I try to make sure they feel comfortable and secure while you’re gone. My experience in grooming and daycare has taught me how to read dog body language and recognize when a dog is excited, nervous, tired, or needs space. I’ll always pay attention to how your pet is feeling and adjust my approach to what works best for them. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I’ll treat your space with respect and leave everything the way I found it. I know pets are family, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel comfortable, whether that’s during a quick walk, a drop-in visit, or an extended stay.
