“Natalie is the sitter of our dreams! This was our first time away from our cats and from the get go, knew that they were in good hands. Natalie went above and beyond in her care towards our Bonnie and Clyde and we would not hesitate to use her again in the future. Thanks again!”

About: Cats and dogs have a special spot in my heart; caring for them brings me so much joy. I have been taking care of animals for 10+ years, from puppies and kittens to seniors with special diets. I am dedicated to giving your pet(s) all the care and attention they need & deserve. I am available most days at any time; my schedule is pretty lenient, and my pets here have other family members who care for them when I am caring for new pet friends. I am able to care for pets at the client's home, offering 1:1 attention, including brushing, walking, feeding, play, and bathing if needed or requested. I will provide text and photo updates throughout our visits.
“Kimberly was very receptive to our care instructions and communicative throughout. Really eased the stress of leaving our cats while away on vacation. Would recommend!”

About: I love all kinds of animals. I'm a cat parent myself but love to walk and play with dogs. I'm not very experienced with lizards, fish, birds or rodents but am happy to learn their specific needs. I'm new to Rover but have always looked after cats and dogs for my friends and family. On weekdays I'm available for feeding and walks before 8:30AM and after 5:30PM with some flexibility. On weekends and holidays I am generally open and available. I am detail oriented and focused on providing the up most care for your pets and your space. No stranger to cleaning littler boxes, attending to hairballs and other messes, or deep cleaning a water fountain. I'n happy to take care of your plant babies as well.
About: My wife and I have been fostering dogs and cats from the Humane Society and other rescues for 6 years, in addition to being pet owners ourselves. We have specifically taken on animals with health complications in need of special care, e.g. medication, physiotherapy, pregnancy, etc. As a bonus, my wife is a dog groomer with a salon attached to our home, so if your pet needs some sprucing up, we can help with that, too! Both my wife and I work from home and I am currently on leave from work, so I have lots of extra time to devote to your pet 🙂 We have a large, fenced yard that provides ample space for play. We currently own three cats (Mouse, Graham, and Rudy), and a budgie (Fergus). The cats are used to foster pets (about 60 cats and dogs over the past 6 years) coming in and out on a regular basis and the bird is up nice and high.
About: Hi, I'm Cassandra! I've been a dog mom for many years and recently said goodbye to my two beloved boxers after a lifetime of companionship. Caring for them through every stage of life—including their senior years—taught me the importance of patience, kindness, and understanding that every dog has unique needs. In January 2026, I welcomed my rescue dog, Bubba, into my family. His journey has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Bubba came to me as a timid, sensitive dog who was afraid to leave the house. Through patience, consistency, positive reinforcement, and private training, I've watched him grow into a curious, adventurous, and much more confident companion. Helping him build trust in both me and the world around him has deepened my understanding of canine behaviour and reinforced my belief that every dog deserves to move at their own pace. I'm now offering reliable dog walking and drop-in visits to help keep your pup happy, comfortable, and cared for while you're away. Whether your dog needs a fun walk to burn off energy, a potty break, fresh water, a meal, medication, or simply some love and companionship, I'm here to help. I treat every dog as if they were my own, taking the time to build trust and make sure they feel safe and comfortable. I understand that every dog is different—some are social butterflies, while others need a little extra patience and reassurance. Whether your pup is a playful youngster, a senior who enjoys a slower pace, or a rescue still learning to feel confident, you can count on me to provide dependable, compassionate care, plenty of affection, and an experience tailored to their individual needs. Pet care isn't just something I do - it's truly a part of my everyday life. I work my schedule around the needs of the dogs in my care, making sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship throughout the day. Whether it's morning potty breaks, midday playtime in my fully fenced yard, or cozy evening snuggles, I love building a routine that keeps pups happy and comfortable. Dogs in my care enjoy a safe, welcoming, and relaxed environment. My home is quiet, comfortable and dog friendly, with a large fenced yard for playtime and fresh air. I'll also keep you updated with photos, messages, and check-ins so you always know how your pup is doing.
“Katherine was a wonderful cat sitter! She sent us lovely updates with the cutest photos, and was so thoughtful with the time she spent with our kitties (like giving them some fresh air by the patio door). She was super communicative, and we felt so comforted knowing she was taking care of them. Would highly recommend her!”

“Breeah watched my two dogs over the weekend while we were away. Beginning to end she was fantastic! Quick to respond and friendly when I reached out, she obviously has lots of experience with dogs so I was comfortable with her immediately. Breeah met my dogs before we left and while we were gone she provided lots of great updates and pictures - I highly recommend and will definitely reach out again!”

I am currently working part-time, so I will have plenty of time to play/walk your pups! I'm available for boarding on weekends and most week days. About: Hi, I’m Alex! I’ve been caring for dogs, especially Border Collies, since 2007 and have built a deep understanding of their personalities and needs. Growing up, I spent countless hours walking my dog, exploring trails, and using those walks as a peaceful escape. This connection to nature and animals has fueled my lifelong love for dogs of all breeds. When my Border Collie became a senior, I was her primary caretaker. From carrying her up and down stairs when she needed help to spending quality one-on-one time with her, I learned how to adapt to a dog’s unique needs at every stage of life. Currently, I live with two family dogs, Skye and Piper, and my cat, Lulu, which has given me even more experience with multi-pet households. I’m very mindful of dog behavior and body language, ensuring they always feel comfortable and safe. Having had dogs that weren’t always social with others, I’m skilled at managing walks and being aware of our surroundings. I always work on a dog’s terms, respecting their boundaries, and letting them come to me when they’re ready. Whether it’s a high-energy pup needing an adventure or a senior dog needing gentle care, I’m here to provide tailored attention and love for your furry friend. I can’t wait to meet your dog and learn more about their personality and preferences! I currently feed and walk my two border collies and cat everyday. My cat likes to come along in her carrier backpack for our daily walks. And of course I give them treats when they are demanded (in moderation). I will talk with my pets whenever they come into the room. Since I have border collies we are constantly playing with the toys, both inside and outside.

You can coordinate how much supervision you want directly with your sitter. While every sitter’s schedule varies, here are some examples of supervision by pet care service:
- Boarding or doggy day care: Many sitters can provide frequent companionship because they design their day specifically around the pets in their care or work from home.
- House sitting: Your sitter generally stays in your home for the requested duration, which may include overnight care. They may step out briefly to visit other pet clients, but your home remains their primary base.
- Drop-in visits or dog walking: These can be scheduled in 30- or 60-minute windows (and can be shorter or longer at your request) to help your pet receive dedicated attention and care during those specific times.
Interested in constant or 24/7 care? This service often incurs an additional fee but many sitters are happy to discuss this option with you.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Stratford choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
