About: I love all kinds of animals. I'm a cat parent myself but love to walk and play with dogs. I'm not very experienced with lizards, fish, birds or rodents but am happy to learn their specific needs. I'm new to Rover but have always looked after cats and dogs for my friends and family. On weekdays I'm available for feeding and walks before 8:30AM and after 5:30PM with some flexibility. On weekends and holidays I am generally open and available. I am detail oriented and focused on providing the up most care for your pets and your space. No stranger to cleaning littler boxes, attending to hairballs and other messes, or deep cleaning a water fountain. I'n happy to take care of your plant babies as well.

About: My wife and I have been fostering dogs and cats from the Humane Society and other rescues for 6 years, in addition to being pet owners ourselves. We have specifically taken on animals with health complications in need of special care, e.g. medication, physiotherapy, pregnancy, etc. As a bonus, my wife is a dog groomer with a salon attached to our home, so if your pet needs some sprucing up, we can help with that, too! Both my wife and I work from home and I am currently on leave from work, so I have lots of extra time to devote to your pet 🙂 We have a large, fenced yard that provides ample space for play. We currently own three cats (Mouse, Graham, and Rudy), and a budgie (Fergus). The cats are used to foster pets (about 60 cats and dogs over the past 6 years) coming in and out on a regular basis and the bird is up nice and high.

Growing up, I spent countless hours walking my dog, exploring trails, and using those walks as a peaceful escape. This connection to nature and animals has fueled my lifelong love for dogs of all breeds. When my Border Collie became a senior, I was her primary caretaker. From carrying her up and down stairs when she needed help to spending quality one-on-one time with her, I learned how to adapt to a dog’s unique needs at every stage of life. Currently, I live with two family dogs, Skye and Piper, and my cat, Lulu, which has given me even more experience with multi-pet households. I’m very mindful of dog behavior and body language, ensuring they always feel comfortable and safe. Having had dogs that weren’t always social with others, I’m skilled at managing walks and being aware of our surroundings. I always work on a dog’s terms, respecting their boundaries, and letting them come to me when they’re ready.
