About: I have had a dog since before I even came home from the hospital as a baby 😅 I have always had a love & soft spot for dogs. Taking care of our family dog was one of my first " jobs" growing up! All the typical dog things feeding, walking, playing & tidying up after to name the basics! I am currently a stay at home mom to a four year old little girl! I was thrilled to find out she inherited the dog loving gene! ( well animal loving gene period) She wows me all the time with how gentle and kind she is to all kinds! We have a chihuahua who is 5 named Blue! He loves making new friends! (He is fixed!) Since we have so much time on our hands atm I thought it would be nice to offer services😊 I am a stay at home mom! We don't often leave home for longer than a few hours & are more than fine staying in if your dog has anxiety! ( I know mine can!) I do not have a yard unfortunately but I have an extra large fenced in patio Blue likes to sunbathe on & there's more than enough room for company😊 Blue is free to do as he pleases in my house when it comes to furniture & food! I would treat your dog as one of my own while here so would get the same treatment unless you specify otherwise 😊

“Super grateful to have found Nicole. She has been easy to communicate and work with, and she went above and beyond to accommodate my dogs special needs and make our first boarding with her a successful and positive experience. Pender and Austin are such lovely dogs xxx”

About: I've always had pets in my life since the day I was born. I seem to be the go to person when someone needs pet care. I'd just never thought of it as a means of income! I recently got laid off and decided to find a new venture doing what I love, being around animal companions day/night. We recently lost our fur baby and don't want to commit to another lifelong companion until I retire. So, this would be a win-win. Update: We recently adopted a cat as the alternative option for her was untenable. She gets along well with dogs. I have a fully fenced yard and there are no restrictions to where the pet can go in the house, they can have complete run of the house. If owner permits their pet to go on their couch I am fine with that in mine. Will verify rules with owner.

About: I am a warm and loving pet enthusiast with a lifetime of experience caring for dogs. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of sharing my life with 14 dogs of my own and fostering many more. My journey has taken me from walking packs on the beaches of Australia, to the stunning Andalusian mountains and now the exquisite trails on the West Coast of Canada. Known by many as a “dog whisperer,” I have a natural ability to connect with dogs, who are instinctively drawn to me. Currently, I enjoy walking two beautiful Border Collies alongside my own Beagle, and on some days, I can be found in the woods with a joyful pack of four or five furry companions. My love for animals extends beyond pet care—I also help people navigate the grief of losing a beloved pet through my hypnotherapy practice. Every dog in my care holds a special place in my heart, and I am deeply committed to ensuring they feel safe, loved, and happy. I am a Hypnotherapy Practitioner, specializing in pet loss. I work both from home and online, which allows me the flexibility to align my schedule with pet-sitting commitments. This means I can dedicate plenty of one-on-one attention to your pet, ensuring they feel loved and cared for. While in my care, your furry friend will enjoy long walks, playtime in our secure, fenced yard, and plenty of companionship, so they never feel alone. Their happiness and well-being are my top priorities, and I’m committed to making their time with me as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. I have a fully fenced and secure yard, where your pet can enjoy playtime with my Beagle, who is very sociable and polite. My home is inviting and welcoming. All dogs that I’ve had stay have been comfortable and happy.

“Keetah was so great with my crazy dog! Such good communication - lots of updates and photos provided! Tucker already can’t wait to stay with her again (after a long nap). Would highly recommend!”

About: Lifelong Animal Lover with a Safe, Calm Home I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs and animals my whole life, and caring for them has always been second nature. From playful pups to senior companions, I understand the attention, patience, and love each pet needs. I’m very active and enjoy taking dogs on long walks, play sessions in the yard, or just relaxing with them if that’s more their style. My home is safe, quiet, and welcoming—an ideal place for pets to feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. Whether it’s cuddles on the couch or outdoor adventures, your pet will be treated like family. Working from home allows me to give pets the attention and care they deserve throughout the day. Whether it’s morning walks, midday playtime, or just having a calm, reassuring presence nearby, I’m able to incorporate their needs seamlessly into my routine. I take regular breaks, which are perfect for cuddle sessions or bathroom breaks, and I always make sure pets feel included, seen, and safe. Your pet won’t be left alone or ignored—they’ll be part of my peaceful, pet-friendly home life. When it comes to pet sitting, I know how important it is for pet owners to feel completely confident in the care their pet is receiving. I build trust through consistent communication, timely updates, and lots of photos so you always know how your pet is doing. I stick to your preferred schedule and follow the care plan carefully—whether it’s feeding, medication, walks, or routines your pet is used to. I take time to understand each pet’s unique personality and needs, creating a safe and comforting environment. Whether your pet is shy, energetic, or needs a little extra attention, you can count on me to be attentive, respectful, and reliable.

About: After being the number one dog sitter for friends for years I finally got my own pup, Artichoke, in Oct 2021. We start our days with an adventure at Bonniebrook or Sprockids park, in the afternoon we normally play fetch or get another walk in, and we always wind down with 30 mins in the neighbourhood at night. I work from home so I almost never leave dogs alone for more than 2 hours. I try to bring Arty and any dogs in my care with me when possible. Arty is a very social dog and has the most fun when we have another dog around, for walks or overnight. But at this point I can’t care for two dogs permanently, enter Rover. Im experienced with dogs of all sizes, but for obvious reasons they have to be good with other dogs. A little bit about my experience: Within the last 5 years I watched a 1.5 year old St. Bernese for 7 months, Doodle and Aussie/Collie siblings, an Australian Shepherd puppy, a King Cocker Spaniel puppy and two senior labs. Prior to dog sitting I also grew up with dogs and I am comfortable with puppies, seniors and dogs with medical needs. Given the flexibility of my job, I try to mimic your dogs regular routine as to disturb their routine and make the experience as neutral as possible for them. I may live in apartment but I love to get outside. I’ll always follow your guidance around dog parks and off leash activities and when in doubt keep your pup leashed on regular trails. If home sitting I can provide you with a clear copy of a criminal record check.

“Christina has been so fabulous. She and her family took such great care of my dog, who isn’t always the best with change. From the start, they made sure both me and my dog felt comfortable. It was clear they treated her like part of their own family, playing with her and showing her tons of love. Finding a trusted sitter isn’t always easy, but Christina made the whole experience stress-free. Would definitely recommend :)”
