About: I’ve grown up with a menagerie of animals. My old dog passed in October and I’ve fostered an 18 year old cat so I do have experience with medical needs and have done various training with my dogs such as scent class and therapy dog. I work from home full time with a remote tech job. I can provide walks before work, lunch or after according to their usual routine. I have a fenced yard for the dogs to play safely. I have a miniature dachshund who’s a social butterfly named Frankie. She is allowed on the furniture and is fully potty trained and didn’t care for a kennel so she is free roaming.
About: Hi! I'm Kristine☺️. With 20+ years of experience caring for my own pets and providing pet sitting services, I am deeply passionate about ensuring your dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. I am currently an at-home dog mom to a 3.5 lb female Chihuahua, which allows me to give my full attention to each pet I sit. From raising puppies and providing training, to caring for senior dogs in need of daily medications (oral and subcutaneous fluids), I’ve gained hands-on experience in handling various needs. I’ve also cared for dogs with special conditions such as epilepsy, heart disease, kidney disease, and IVDD, so I am highly attuned to recognizing any clinical signs that may require immediate attention and extra care. I prioritize your pet’s safety, comfort, and enrichment. Whether your dog requires a little extra TLC or simply a friendly companion for walks and playtime, I promise they will receive the best care possible, tailored to their individual needs. Since I am home full time, I have the flexibility and dedication to ensure your pup gets the care they deserve. My schedule is completely adaptable, allowing me to accommodate your dog’s needs at any time of day. Each day revolves around my pup’s well-being, and I’m always ready to add your dog into the mix for playtime, walks, and individualized attention. Whether it’s a leisurely stroll, interactive play, or time spent simply relaxing together, I will make sure your dog feels safe, loved, and engaged. I have ample time throughout the week to create a routine that suits your dog’s needs, whether that includes early morning potty breaks, midday play sessions, or evening cuddle time. Your dog’s comfort and happiness are my priority, and I’ll make sure to give them the same care and attention that I give my own pup. At my home, your dog will be under constant supervision and never left alone or unattended. I understand how important it is to trust that your pup is safe, so I will make sure they are always within sight and well cared for at all times. I am certified in First Aid for Dogs and Cats through the Canadian Red Cross, so you can feel confident that your pet’s safety and health are a top priority. We have a secure, fenced yard with plenty of space for small dogs to run and play safely. If your dog is crate-trained, I’m happy to accommodate their routine to ensure they feel comfortable. Our Chihuahua loves to play, so your pup will have a friendly companion to interact with. For dogs with special needs, we have baby gates available and stairs leading up to the bed and couch—not only for pups with back issues, but also to prevent unsafe jumping from heights. Additionally, we have a pet stroller that can be used for senior pups or those with mobility challenges, so they can still enjoy fresh air and outings comfortably. My home can easily be adapted to provide comfort and support for your furbaby.
About: Growing up I was not allowed to have any pets, so as an adult I took every opportunity to spend time with other peoples animals. As the years went on I began house/pet sitting for my friends with dogs. So when we moved into a home of our own we immediately adopted 3 silly cats. Not long ago my family went on a vacation and I found and used this service to care for my 3 furry boys and thought how much I would enjoy spending time with other pets on a regular basis! Picking up back yard poops is no problem, spending some time with an anxious pup during the day would spark so much joy, and cleaning litter is an everyday occurrence for me. Please let me give you peace of mind knowing that your furry friends are safe and cared for, just the way a sitter from this service did for me! I usually work at my day job from 9am until 2pm, this gives me plenty of time to take your pups on a nice evening walk. As it is not a Monday to Friday job I may also be available on the odd day for an afternoon visit as well, please reach out and we can figure something out! As a pet parent my self, I know how important it is for your furry family to have the same routine even when you are not around! I am able to follow directions, and love routine as well. Knowing your schedule is followed while away gives you the peace to enjoy your time away!
“Kaitlin is a reliable sitter and was wonderful with our cat. She came twice a day in freezing cold weather and always left us a picture. Lots of cuddle time with Mia which we really appreciated! Thanks Kaitlin!”

“Wonderful and kind. Truly caring for our fury one. Made it in time. Kept track of dogs needs and directions and open to handle an in-training puppy. Thank you 🙏🏽”

“Desiree took such great care of our pup! She sent us several pictures and kept us up to date. This is the first time we’ve used this service and would definitely use Des again.”

“Mae is a thoughtful and caring pet sitter. She cared for my cat Cecily for a weekend, and did an excellent job. All the requests were followed and I came back home to a happy cat. I would recommend Mae to anyone looking for a reliable pet sitter for their little friends with paws.”

About: Hello! My name is Keela, a lifelong dog lover with 12 years of experience caring for pups of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I grew up on a farm surrounded by animals – dogs, cats, and horses were part of my daily life from the very beginning. That farm life gave me hands-on experience with animals of all personalities, where I learned the importance of patience, responsibility, and unconditional love for all creatures big and small. When I was 11 years old, I got my own puppy! She is a super fluffy, all black, border collie x lab, and her name is Shade. That sparked a passion for training, and I got right into obedience and agility with her when she was a wee pup. I continued with agility for 7 years, teaching me about the divine connection between animal and human behaviours. I offer personalized care tailored to your dog’s routine, including: •Daily walks, playtime, & enrichment 🦴 •Feeding & medication if needed 🍽️ •Lots of snuggles and attention 🐕 •Regular photo updates of your fur baby 📸 Whether your dog is a playful puppy, a cuddly couch potato, or a senior needing a little extra TLC, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. Let’s set up a meet-and-greet so I can get to know your furry friend and answer any questions you have. I can’t wait to meet your pup! 🐾 📅 Fully Open Schedule – Flexible & Ready to Help! 🐾 My schedule is currently wide open, so I’m available for pet sitting, drop-in visits, walks, and more—morning, afternoon, or evening! Whether you need last-minute care or ongoing support, I’m here to accommodate your needs and give your pets the love and attention they deserve. 💕🐶🐱 I believe pets feel most comfortable in their own space, so when I care for your furry friend in your home, I do everything I can to keep their routine consistent and stress-free. From feeding and fresh water to playtime, walks, and quiet companionship, I provide personalized, attentive care that matches your pet’s needs and personality. I’m respectful of your home and keep things clean, tidy, and secure while you're away. I’ll follow any instructions you leave, including medication, special diets, or favorite routines—and I always make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and relaxed. You’ll also receive regular updates and photos, so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing everything is going great at home! 🐾 💛 🏡
“Monique is so wonderful! We’ve used her a handful of times now and she is always friendly and has good communication. We feel fully comfortable leaving our little buddy in her care and he is always happy and settled when we return home.”

“I’m new to Rover but Stephanie made the whole experience easy and stress free! I can tell she really cares and that makes me feel comfortable leaving my kitties in her care. I’ll be using her again for sure!”

“Carla was amazing with my two pups! One of them is super nervous, but she had him playing and cuddling in no time. She also accommodated a very last minute request. She is amazing!”

“Brooklyn is the best! Always takes such great care of my fur babies and 100% trust worthy and reliable. Can’t say enough good things about this lovely pet sitter. Thank you!”

About: I have 5+ years of dog walking experience and take pride in providing reliable, consistent care for every dog I work with. I understand each dog as their own personalities, energy levels, and needs and because of that, I make sure to have clear communication so that they are happy, comfortable, and safe on their walks. I work a full time 9-5 schedule, so I prioritize in early morning and late afternoon walks. I’m fully available on weekends and can accommodate walks at any time. As I understand a home is an extension of oneself, I take in pride on my word that I do everything in my power to respect your rules and boundaries.
“This was our first time using Rover so we were a little anxious at first of course but Patrisha was awesome! I'm sure our cat, Baldwin, would say he was very pleased haha. Patrisha was very understanding of my complex instructions for our security system (entering/exciting), helped feed our fish as well, and also helped with wheeling our garbage bin down for pickup while we were gone. We would def rebook with Patrisha when the time comes!”

“Ashlynn took great care of my cat Arya while I was away for 2 weeks. Very responsive if I messaged her. Arya was happy and healthy when I returned home and really took to Ashlynn.”
About: I've grown up raising multiple dogs. I recently moved to saskatoon and I have alot of time on my hands to help out! I myself use Rover for my dog Kona and figured why not also help others out :) I love all dogs, big or small and will care for them like my own! I'm currently working my full time job Monday to Friday 8 to 430. I work from home Tuesday, wednesday and friday so i am flexible and able to watch dogs during this time. I h also have lots of free time in evenings and weekends! I'm a very outdoorsy person so happy to take your doggo to the park or wherever you please! I have my own house with a fenced yard. I have a really playful Australian Shepherd named Kona. She loves all other dogs. I also live less than a 5 min walk from the park!
“Laura is amazing! She definitely has a way with cats. Pepsi has some health issues and Laura knows what to do for her. When I come home, I see that Pepsi is calm, which means she got all her needs met.”
About: Hello! My name is Jessica! I have watched various sizes and ages of dogs and cats in the last 10 years, mostly for people in my circle of friends and family. I also have an English Mastiff who is my bestie. I have had experience administering medications and walking multiple dogs at a time. My 'niche' would be for anyone who has a large/giant breed that is low to medium energy. I know what real drool looks like and have cloths dedicated to wiping up slobber. I've had two dogs that have been considered 'giant' breeds and I absolutely adore them. That being said I love pets of all shapes and sizes, this work is something I really enjoy doing. I love learning about animals and getting a chance to get to know them. I work M-F 8:30-5 and I'm looking to be a pet sitter for animals that can comfortably accommodate this schedule, certainly on the weekends and in the evenings, I provide regular outside breaks and walks. I understand that a pet's routine is essential to maintain, so please let me know if there are specific times and intervals for meals, walks, and any other needs for your pet! I try to allow pets to settle into a space or adjust to having a stranger in their home. Any dogs staying at my home will be separated into different crates or rooms while I am not home to prevent any issues that may arise when there are unsupervised animals in the same space. It is just me and my pup so our home is quiet for the most part, we love a nap. Please, if you have a question or request do not hesitate to ask. I want to have a successful time with your dog and if it seems that my schedule or 'style' may not be the best fit then let's figure it out so you can find the best care for your dog.

Jeannie is the Best! I am so lucky to have her look after my kitty. Jeannie gives her such amazing care and love. I have used Jeannie’s services once a month for a long time and I never worry about the care my kitty will get. You won’t go wrong booking Jeannie for your pets care.

This was our first time using Rover and our experience was terrific. Tara accomodated our needs in every way and provided updates at every visit. She did more than expected, dropping in a few extra times as she felt necessary. We (and our dog) couldn't be happier.

I've had Janice walk my dog a few times now, when I'm in a punch. She's very responsive, and ready to help. Provides feedback about the walks and is good with my dog. I would recommend Janice to others and will be happy to ask her to walk my dog again in the future.

Victoria is a great and thoughtful cat sitter once again. Very capable of handling my anxious and temperamental kitty. If my cat feels anxious, she will usually act very needy when I get home from being away, but as always… she ignores me when I get home when Victoria sits — which in my cats special way means that she was not worried & anxious that I was away. Would easily recommend Victoria for any cat sitting!
Braden was just who I was looking for to take care of our boy, Jasper, when we went on vacation. He took good care of him and it was clear Jasper enjoyed his time with him. I highly recommend Braden next time you need someone to look after your fur baby. We will definitely be booking him again in the future.

Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.
Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or travelling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer poop breaks during a Saskatoon stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.
Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover based on what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.
You can coordinate how much supervision you want directly with your sitter. While every sitter’s schedule varies, here are some examples of supervision by pet care service:
- Boarding or doggy day care: Many sitters can provide frequent companionship because they design their day specifically around the pets in their care or work from home.
- House sitting: Your sitter generally stays in your home for the requested duration, which may include overnight care. They may step out briefly to visit other pet clients, but your home remains their primary base.
- Drop-in visits or dog walking: These can be scheduled in 30- or 60-minute windows (and can be shorter or longer at your request) to help your pet receive dedicated attention and care during those specific times.
Interested in constant or 24/7 care? This service often incurs an additional fee but many sitters are happy to discuss this option with you.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Saskatoon choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
