I grew up on a farm surrounded by animals – dogs, cats, and horses were part of my daily life from the very beginning. That farm life gave me hands-on experience with animals of all personalities, where I learned the importance of patience, responsibility, and unconditional love for all creatures big and small. When I was 11 years old, I got my own puppy! She is a super fluffy, all black, border collie x lab, and her name is Shade. That sparked a passion for training, and I got right into obedience and agility with her when she was a wee pup. From the meet and greet all through to the last visit - Elysia was calm, patient, on time with visits, followed all directions, asked questions when needed, tried numerous methods to improve my cats anxiety/behavior - and took so many photos and left very detailed daily updates! I knew anyone would have a challenge with my guy - but Elysia is a rock star and I hope to use her in the future for Darwin again. Would highly recommend her for any pet care!”

About: Hello! My name is Jessica! I have watched various sizes and ages of dogs and cats in the last 10 years, mostly for people in my circle of friends and family. I also have an English Mastiff who is my bestie. I have had experience administering medications and walking multiple dogs at a time. My 'niche' would be for anyone who has a large/giant breed that is low to medium energy. I know what real drool looks like and have cloths dedicated to wiping up slobber. I've had two dogs that have been considered 'giant' breeds and I absolutely adore them. That being said I love pets of all shapes and sizes, this work is something I really enjoy doing. I love learning about animals and getting a chance to get to know them. I work M-F 8:30-5 and I'm looking to be a pet sitter for animals that can comfortably accommodate this schedule, certainly on the weekends and in the evenings, I provide regular outside breaks and walks. I understand that a pet's routine is essential to maintain, so please let me know if there are specific times and intervals for meals, walks, and any other needs for your pet! I try to allow pets to settle into a space or adjust to having a stranger in their home. Any dogs staying at my home will be separated into different crates or rooms while I am not home to prevent any issues that may arise when there are unsupervised animals in the same space. It is just me and my pup so our home is quiet for the most part, we love a nap. Please, if you have a question or request do not hesitate to ask. For dogs with special needs, we have baby gates available and stairs leading up to the bed and couch—not only for pups with back issues, but also to prevent unsafe jumping from heights. Additionally, we have a pet stroller that can be used for senior pups or those with mobility challenges, so they can still enjoy fresh air and outings comfortably. My home can easily be adapted to provide comfort and support for your furbaby.

About: I’ve grown up with a menagerie of animals. My old dog passed in October and I’ve fostered an 18 year old cat so I do have experience with medical needs and have done various training with my dogs such as scent class and therapy dog. I work from home full time with a remote tech job. I can provide walks before work, lunch or after according to their usual routine. I have a fenced yard for the dogs to play safely. I have a miniature dachshund who’s a social butterfly named Frankie. She is allowed on the furniture and is fully potty trained and didn’t care for a kennel so she is free roaming.
