“Mitchell shows up at the exact time and often walks for longer than the arranged time, which is really appreciated! Rain, snow or shine, he is there and writes thorough reports. Thank you for everything!”

About: Hello! My name is Jessica! I have watched various sizes and ages of dogs and cats in the last 10 years, mostly for people in my circle of friends and family. I also have an English Mastiff who is my bestie. I have had experience administering medications and walking multiple dogs at a time. My 'niche' would be for anyone who has a large/giant breed that is low to medium energy. I know what real drool looks like and have cloths dedicated to wiping up slobber. I've had two dogs that have been considered 'giant' breeds and I absolutely adore them. That being said I love pets of all shapes and sizes, this work is something I really enjoy doing. I love learning about animals and getting a chance to get to know them. I work M-F 8:30-5 and I'm looking to be a pet sitter for animals that can comfortably accommodate this schedule, certainly on the weekends and in the evenings, I provide regular outside breaks and walks. I understand that a pet's routine is essential to maintain, so please let me know if there are specific times and intervals for meals, walks, and any other needs for your pet! I try to allow pets to settle into a space or adjust to having a stranger in their home. Any dogs staying at my home will be separated into different crates or rooms while I am not home to prevent any issues that may arise when there are unsupervised animals in the same space. It is just me and my pup so our home is quiet for the most part, we love a nap. Please, if you have a question or request do not hesitate to ask. I want to have a successful time with your dog and if it seems that my schedule or 'style' may not be the best fit then let's figure it out so you can find the best care for your dog.
“Very professional as well as compassionate and friendly. The perfect mix to make me feel safe to leave Mango in their hands. Will utilize their services again. I would happily recommend them to a friend in need of pet care. I am very grateful for them being able to help me on such short notice. Their flexibility was genuinely awesome and much appreciated!”

“Kristine and Riley have been absolutely wonderful with Leo! They are reliable, caring, and go above and beyond to make sure he’s happy, safe, and well-exercised. I always feel at ease knowing Leo is in such loving hands, and he’s so excited every time he sees them. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for amazing dog walkers!”

“Keela was so wonderful with our very high energy dog! Her communication was always prompt and friendly, and we felt so comfortable trusting her to walk our dog. She was also flexible with our schedule which made things so easy. Our dog always came home from her walks happy and tired. Thank you Keela!!”

About: Growing up I was not allowed to have any pets, so as an adult I took every opportunity to spend time with other peoples animals. As the years went on I began house/pet sitting for my friends with dogs. So when we moved into a home of our own we immediately adopted 3 silly cats. Not long ago my family went on a vacation and I found and used this service to care for my 3 furry boys and thought how much I would enjoy spending time with other pets on a regular basis! Picking up back yard poops is no problem, spending some time with an anxious pup during the day would spark so much joy, and cleaning litter is an everyday occurrence for me. Please let me give you peace of mind knowing that your furry friends are safe and cared for, just the way a sitter from this service did for me! I usually work at my day job from 9am until 2pm, this gives me plenty of time to take your pups on a nice evening walk. As it is not a Monday to Friday job I may also be available on the odd day for an afternoon visit as well, please reach out and we can figure something out! As a pet parent my self, I know how important it is for your furry family to have the same routine even when you are not around! I am able to follow directions, and love routine as well. Knowing your schedule is followed while away gives you the peace to enjoy your time away!
“Kaitlin came by the morning of her dog walking date for a meet and greet with us and Jayda, our Labradoodle. Jayda liked her and she returned later in the evening to give her some company and a walk as we were out for the evening. All went well and she took good care of our fur baby. Would hire her in the future for sure.”

About: I’ve grown up around animals and have always loved caring for them. I have 4 cats of my own and I’m comfortable caring for both cats and dogs of all different sizes. I’m happy to help with feeding, walks, playtime, litter boxes, potty breaks, and of course lots of attention and cuddles! I know every pet has their own personality and routine, so I’m always happy to follow your instructions and make sure they’re comfortable and well cared for while you’re away. I currently have a very flexible schedule and am available throughout the week, including weekdays and weekends. This gives me plenty of time to spend with your pets and provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship throughout the day. I’m also available for overnight stays and can accommodate last-minute bookings when my schedule allows. I’ll care for your pets in their own home where they can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and routine. I’ll follow any instructions you provide for feeding, walks, medications, potty breaks, sleeping arrangements, and anything else your pet needs. I’m respectful of both your home and your pet’s boundaries, and I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can feel comfortable knowing your pet is safe and well cared for while you’re away.
“Claire was absolutely amazing with our dogs! From the moment we met her, we could tell she genuinely loves animals and would take great care of our pups. She kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Our dogs came home happy, well cared for, and clearly had lots of love and attention. Claire was reliable, kind, and very easy to communicate with throughout the entire booking. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring sitter. Thank you, Claire!”

About: I have volunteered in many Pet Shelter Homes where I have taken dogs out for walks and playdates, provided company, and care for both dogs and cats. I also have lots of experience in small animal care as I have previously owned Hamsters and currently own Guinea Pigs. I'm a university student currently studying Animal Science, and I am an aspiring Vet who is very passionate in animal care. I am in school during the week from hours ranging between 9am-6pm, but I am free after those hours and weekends to provide essential care for your pets! If you would like to schedule other hours, please do not hesitate to reach out. After asking for detailed instructions from the pet's owner(s), I will accommodate whatever the pet will need. For example, I will ask the pet owner if the pet has triggers for aggression, trauma / important medical needs, likes/dislikes, special needs, etc. With these information provided, I will take care of the pet to the best of my abilities to accommodate the pet's needs and meet the pet owner's expectations.

About: I have had dogs since I was 8 years old. I walk, feed, and give water to my dog. I make sure they are healthy and happy. I am looking for a job at the moment but I am available anytime now! I love being with animals and walking and being outside I will make sure they are fed and given water and take them for long or short walks and pet them and play with them
“Chaise’s communication was clear and straightforward. He’s super nice and did amazing with my reactive dog. 10/10 would recommend Chaise to anyone! Overall I’m super satisfied and impressed with how happy my dog was with him.”

About: I’ve taken care of pets (dogs, cats, mouses and other) for almost 5 years. I’m a veterinarian and I love animals with all my heart! I currently work from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., but I have a flexible routine and can allow me some visits within this period. I can take care of your pet in the mornings before 8:30 and after 4pm every day, including overnight and also on full-time weekends.B I can't receive your pet at home. But in your environment I can provide company, entertainment, basic and intensive care (in case of the elderly or animals with health problems). In addition to keeping the place clean and leaving it in its habitat, reducing the stress caused by the change of environment. I have all mornings available and also midday between the lunch time, also we can schedule overnights and visits after 6pm. We can arrange the best time and schedules for both talking previously of the trip date. I try my best to keep their routine and to respect the pet’s space cresting trust. I also like to visiting them before the owners leave them with me , so they can create a bond with me.
“Avery S. did an excellent job of taking care of my dog Blue and my “cat” Mango. If I have the opportunity to hire her to take care of my friends again, I certainly will. Thank you Avery. JVM”
About: I have taken care of dogs on and off for 3 years. I have cared for my own dog, watched over my sisters two dogs while one was a puppy, and was hired to dog-sit at another house for two dogs, including a puppy. I have experience with small and large dogs, training puppies, walking multiple dogs, and giving medication orally. I currently work part-time outside the home for about four hours at a time, and am home for most of the time beyond that. I am able to take the dogs out to pee throughout the day, as well as take them on walks if needed. I have leashes that I use to take the dogs out to pee to ensure their safety in our unfenced yard. I also have a dog that is always at home to keep your fur baby company! Depending on the owners wishes, I have chew sticks that the dogs can have to keep occupied throughout the day.

“Zachary went beyond expectations. He takes several pictures of our Blue Heeler for every walk and writes a detailed paragraph about his experience during his waking time with Cola. He has always showed up on time for when he was scheduled, communicated well with us, and now we will continue to trust Zack to dog walk for us. I recommend that you give him a holler if you need someone for your dog walking needs.”

About: Hello, my name is Mikela, I'm 30yrs old I had two dogs and a pig but I no longer have them with me. MJ who was our oldest dog, and was disabled due to an accident is no longer with us because of old age and her disability. Her sister Onyx is now thirteen, they were a funny pair and you knew who was top dog. MJ was a small yorkie/pom/jack russel. I got her from a farm and I adopted Onyx who also came from a reserve. So both our dogs are rescues and mixes, we also had a pot belly pig with Onyx named Dexter. Their relationship was something I wish could have lasted longer but because of circumstances thought differently. I can't deal with cats here due to my mom being allergic so we don't own any, our home is just dog friendly and whatever other pet you have that isn't a cat. I'm hoping to earn a little extra money with this job so solid inquiries only. No stepping in with interest and then backing away, I'm hoping the interest you bring will be final. I find the interest and then finding someone else rude because you make me hopeful and happy, so solid inquiries only please. A little about me I've got epilepsy and that's why I'm doing this, I live with my parents so I don't live alone. Because of my epilepsy I can't drive. My schedule is open, I'm currently looking for work from home. So I'm open after 12:00am until 7:30(ish)pm for boarding/looking after your animals. We can customize the time too. Our fence has just been redone so your dog won't be able to jump or get out. We've got treats for my one dog Onyx so if you are okay with sharing I'll share. We also have a water dish and our place is fairly clean, we don't have a spot to crate and I won't be able to come pick your pets up due to my disability.
“Ally was super helpful with our Rusty. He will finish his lunch and once we opened the gate of his kennel he will go running to the door to see them. Ally always gave us a heads up to when she was going to get here so we could have Rusty ready. The walks were perfect for him and he went farther every time. It was nice to see the progress.”

Requested a walk day of and it was accepted. Meeting Brandon for the first time was easy he stayed in contact and was early! He was very polite and my Koda loved him. My dog also can have his challenges so I think Brandon is quite experienced with dogs, this really meets more needs for us! Thank you so much!!!

Hazel is absolutely the best! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone caring and dependable to look after their furry friend. She is so wonderful with my dog, Penny. She not only walked her but also gave her a fun playtime in the yard, which Penny loved. Hazel kept me updated with sweet photos and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind. She is reliable, trustworthy, and you can tell she genuinely loves animals. Penny was so happy and relaxed when I got home, and I know she’s already looking forward to her next visit with Hazel!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Saskatoon choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find walkers who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
