About: Hi! I'm Kristine☺️. With 20+ years of experience caring for my own pets and providing pet sitting services, I am deeply passionate about ensuring your dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. I am currently an at-home dog mom to a 3.5 lb female Chihuahua, which allows me to give my full attention to each pet I sit. From raising puppies and providing training, to caring for senior dogs in need of daily medications (oral and subcutaneous fluids), I’ve gained hands-on experience in handling various needs. I’ve also cared for dogs with special conditions such as epilepsy, heart disease, kidney disease, and IVDD, so I am highly attuned to recognizing any clinical signs that may require immediate attention and extra care. I prioritize your pet’s safety, comfort, and enrichment. Whether your dog requires a little extra TLC or simply a friendly companion for walks and playtime, I promise they will receive the best care possible, tailored to their individual needs. Since I am home full time, I have the flexibility and dedication to ensure your pup gets the care they deserve. My schedule is completely adaptable, allowing me to accommodate your dog’s needs at any time of day. Each day revolves around my pup’s well-being, and I’m always ready to add your dog into the mix for playtime, walks, and individualized attention. Whether it’s a leisurely stroll, interactive play, or time spent simply relaxing together, I will make sure your dog feels safe, loved, and engaged. I have ample time throughout the week to create a routine that suits your dog’s needs, whether that includes early morning potty breaks, midday play sessions, or evening cuddle time. Your dog’s comfort and happiness are my priority, and I’ll make sure to give them the same care and attention that I give my own pup. At my home, your dog will be under constant supervision and never left alone or unattended. I understand how important it is to trust that your pup is safe, so I will make sure they are always within sight and well cared for at all times. I am certified in First Aid for Dogs and Cats through the Canadian Red Cross, so you can feel confident that your pet’s safety and health are a top priority. We have a secure, fenced yard with plenty of space for small dogs to run and play safely. If your dog is crate-trained, I’m happy to accommodate their routine to ensure they feel comfortable. Our Chihuahua loves to play, so your pup will have a friendly companion to interact with. For dogs with special needs, we have baby gates available and stairs leading up to the bed and couch—not only for pups with back issues, but also to prevent unsafe jumping from heights. Additionally, we have a pet stroller that can be used for senior pups or those with mobility challenges, so they can still enjoy fresh air and outings comfortably. My home can easily be adapted to provide comfort and support for your furbaby.
About: I’ve owned and been taking care of dogs for over 10 years, dating back to my childhood. I have lots of experience with puppies. I am used to the daily tasks/routines that our dogs are used to and enjoy providing them the most security and familiarity as possible. I’ve spent the last year working at a pet store, helping people daily provide the best care for their fur babies, and also furthering my knowledge on how each different dog breed requires slightly different catered care! Aside from work, I spend time volunteering at animal shelters, I enjoy walking the dogs and letting them run and play as much as possible before going to their fur-ever homes! I’ve had lots of experience overnight dog sitting and walking as well. I’m currently in my second year of university at the U of S studying Biology with the hopes of getting into vet school here. I’ve fallen in love with every pup I’ve met, and would love the opportunity to care for yours! ❤️ I am currently part-time employed, giving me plenty of time to care for your babies and give them lots of love and attention. Or just quiet, quick bathroom breaks if that’s what they want :) I have a fenced yard where my dogs will typically use the washroom. This is accompanied by multiple walks a day, as well as 2-3x a week trips to the dog park! When away during the day, my dogs free roam the house (and scare the mailman)! I will be comfortable caring for your pet in whichever way you are most comfortable with. Whether that includes, crating, walking frequently, or in a fenced backyard. My goal is to keep you and your fur baby as comfortable as possible 😊
About: I've grown up raising multiple dogs. I recently moved to saskatoon and I have alot of time on my hands to help out! I myself use Rover for my dog Kona and figured why not also help others out :) I love all dogs, big or small and will care for them like my own! I'm currently working my full time job Monday to Friday 8 to 430. I work from home Tuesday, wednesday and friday so i am flexible and able to watch dogs during this time. I h also have lots of free time in evenings and weekends! I'm a very outdoorsy person so happy to take your doggo to the park or wherever you please! I have my own house with a fenced yard. I have a really playful Australian Shepherd named Kona. She loves all other dogs. I also live less than a 5 min walk from the park!
About: Ever since I was little I have always loved taking care of animals big and small. I’ve always had pets growing up and am happy to take care of a wide range of animals! For a few years now I have watched over acreages for friends and also house sat dogs when they needed it. I have taken care of old pets who require medication and also young puppy’s who may need a little more help and consistency. I went through multiple obedience classes with my own dogs and have done lots of agility training and weight pull training with my own dog Razor! For some dogs new people can be scary and I know that well too. Peaches my other pup can be very timid of new people so I am happy to help even if you are worried about your dog being shy. All of June I have an in person class so most days I will have to be on campus from 8:30am-3pm but from July to august I will have no classes and can spend as much time with your fur baby as needed:) At my home I have a large fenced yard and two friendly dogs as well as a dog savvy cat who will be happy to keep your pet company! I do have two crates, one smaller and one larger in case to crate if needed. In your home I am happy to follow whatever schedule your pet is adapted to!
“Ginny took great care of our cats while we were away. She was very reliable, attentive to detail, and thoughtful in how she cared for them and their specific needs. She always sent videos and photos which was nice to see. I would recommend her to anyone.”

About: I’ve grown up with a menagerie of animals. My old dog passed in October and I’ve fostered an 18 year old cat so I do have experience with medical needs and have done various training with my dogs such as scent class and therapy dog. I work from home full time with a remote tech job. I can provide walks before work, lunch or after according to their usual routine. I have a fenced yard for the dogs to play safely. I have a miniature dachshund who’s a social butterfly named Frankie. She is allowed on the furniture and is fully potty trained and didn’t care for a kennel so she is free roaming.
About: I am reliable, patient, and caring. I have experience with puppies and senior pets, and I can help with basic training, walks, feeding, playtime, and medication if needed. I always make sure pets feel safe, happy, and loved. Pet care is an important part of my daily routine. I make sure pets have fresh food and water, take them for walks, provide exercise and playtime, clean up after them, and give them lots of attention. Every week, I also groom them, check their health, and ensure they have everything they need to stay happy and healthy. I have leash trained my large dog lab, he turned into real calm and quiet dog. I know how to handle pets, I have been seeing them since childhood and they all are loving.

About: *About Me* I’ve always had a love for all animals, i look at pets as if they are family. I am available 7 days a week for the most part. Although, I do have other casual jobs and may need to work around my schedule. I completed my certificate in for Youth Care Work in 2019 and I am currently enrolled in Psychiatric Nursing at Saskatchewan Polytechnic. I like to get to know a pet as much as i can and always give them attention, belly rubs and treats! As for owners, you can expect consistent communication and updates from me during house sits and walks! *My History* I have owned 4 dogs in my lifetime and have cared for plenty of cats around the farm growing up. I was always responsible for my own dogs in my household, and I currently own a bunny whose named Ducky! **HOUSE SITTING** House sitting is always an option if you need someone to stay with your pet for a few days. I prefer to do house sitting alongside my partner, Alex. For extra support with your pets and personal safety! My house sitting offer is a 2 for 1, you can have two pet sitters for the price of one! We can’t wait to meet your pets! I am a full time student, I have a ton of availability during the summer. During the school year, I would have to work around my school schedule. I would make time in my day for long walks or short depending on the needs of the animal. I allow the pet to become comfortable with me first and ensure the environment is pet safe. I also provide toys and attention to ensure the pet does not get bored.
About: Hello! My name is Jessica! I have watched various sizes and ages of dogs and cats in the last 10 years, mostly for people in my circle of friends and family. I also have an English Mastiff who is my bestie. I have had experience administering medications and walking multiple dogs at a time. My 'niche' would be for anyone who has a large/giant breed that is low to medium energy. I know what real drool looks like and have cloths dedicated to wiping up slobber. I've had two dogs that have been considered 'giant' breeds and I absolutely adore them. That being said I love pets of all shapes and sizes, this work is something I really enjoy doing. I love learning about animals and getting a chance to get to know them. I work M-F 8:30-5 and I'm looking to be a pet sitter for animals that can comfortably accommodate this schedule, certainly on the weekends and in the evenings, I provide regular outside breaks and walks. I understand that a pet's routine is essential to maintain, so please let me know if there are specific times and intervals for meals, walks, and any other needs for your pet! I try to allow pets to settle into a space or adjust to having a stranger in their home. Any dogs staying at my home will be separated into different crates or rooms while I am not home to prevent any issues that may arise when there are unsupervised animals in the same space. It is just me and my pup so our home is quiet for the most part, we love a nap. Please, if you have a question or request do not hesitate to ask. I want to have a successful time with your dog and if it seems that my schedule or 'style' may not be the best fit then let's figure it out so you can find the best care for your dog.
“Jackie was amazing with our older cat Butters! We were nervous to leave her for the week but Jackie took incredible care of her, sending us pictures and updates twice a day. Butters was so happy and content when we got home. Our house was just a clean as we left it and there was even a printed photo and note “from Butterfly” left on the counter from her vacation ? It felt so comforting to know she was left with someone who cared about her just as much as we did. We would 100% have Jackie watch Butters the next time we go away!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Saskatoon
Joel has now looked after Nessa twice, and he’s been absolutely amazing both times. He leaves our home spotless, gives regular updates, and always sends the cutest photos of Nessa living her best life. She clearly feels comfortable with him — she even got to go out to a local restaurant on their last stay, which she loved. Nessa can be a bit particular, but she settled in with Joel right away. It’s such a relief knowing she’s in great hands. We’ll definitely be booking with him again.

This was our first time using Rover and our experience was terrific. Tara accomodated our needs in every way and provided updates at every visit. She did more than expected, dropping in a few extra times as she felt necessary. We (and our dog) couldn't be happier.

I've had Janice walk my dog a few times now, when I'm in a punch. She's very responsive, and ready to help. Provides feedback about the walks and is good with my dog. I would recommend Janice to others and will be happy to ask her to walk my dog again in the future.

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
