About: I have volunteered in many Pet Shelter Homes where I have taken dogs out for walks and playdates, provided company, and care for both dogs and cats. I also have lots of experience in small animal care as I have previously owned Hamsters and currently own Guinea Pigs. I'm a university student currently studying Animal Science, and I am an aspiring Vet who is very passionate in animal care. I am in school during the week from hours ranging between 9am-6pm, but I am free after those hours and weekends to provide essential care for your pets! If you would like to schedule other hours, please do not hesitate to reach out. After asking for detailed instructions from the pet's owner(s), I will accommodate whatever the pet will need. For example, I will ask the pet owner if the pet has triggers for aggression, trauma / important medical needs, likes/dislikes, special needs, etc. With these information provided, I will take care of the pet to the best of my abilities to accommodate the pet's needs and meet the pet owner's expectations.
“Maria is an amazing sitter! She is always my go to anytime I need anything for my fur family. She is reliable and so loving towards my crew. I highly recommend booking with her!”

About: I’m a patient, detail-oriented sitter who understands that every pet is different. Whether your pet needs lots of activity or a calm, quiet environment, I’ll make sure they feel safe and comfortable. I enjoy having a routine, and caring for pets fits really well into that. I like staying active and getting outside, so walks and playtime are something I genuinely look forward to each day. I grew up with pets so I understand the importance of safety regarding animals. Your dog will be my number one priority from the hand off to me, during the walk, up until the leash is back in your hands.
“Kaitlin was great. She communicated in a very timely manner, followed through, and took good care of my cat. I can definitely recommend her to other pet owners. Thanks Kaitlin for hanging out with Stanley!”

About: Over the last decade, I have dedicated myself to the care and well-being of dogs, ranging from my own beloved pets to those of family and friends. My approach is rooted in a genuine love for animals; they truly hold a piece of my heart, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. This passion was particularly evident during the pandemic, where I took on the responsibility of walking a friend’s three dogs three times daily. I find deep fulfillment in dog walking, and spending time with them, as it only strengthens my bond with them. I am currently working on my coaching practice revolved around Cognitive framework, and it allows me to be flexible with my personal schedule. Love dogs! Pet care, is defined by a deep, heart-centered commitment to the animals in my life. I follow pets owners instructions; I keep the dog crated if needed be, tied on a leash while walking, using walks and playtime to establish trust and bond.
“June was absolutely great and reliable. My pups were very happy with the care they got from her over the weekend while I was away. My dogs can be a little rowdy and hyper and Juane wasn't phased as at. Highly recommend and will rebook in the future!”

About: I love all dogs. Growing up I would babysit dogs in our town. I now have the cutest 3 year old golden retriever of my own. I understand that each dog has its own personality just like each human. Clear communication is important to me so I can understand both yours and your dog’s needs so that they can feel comfortable and safe when they’re in my care. Fun fact: My dog and I have the same name and we both have that “golden” energy. ✨ During the summer my availability is for the most part completely open. During September- June my availability is mostly nights with holiday and weekend availability. I have a large fenced in back yard with lots of green space to run around in. I have one female 3 year old golden retriever that loves to play with other dogs. Your dog will also have access to an abundance of toys and lots of attention from myself.
“We’ve had Cassidy check in on our cats a few times while out of town and have never had any issues or concerns at all. She does a great job and takes good care of our cats. We’ll keep booking her as long as she’s on Rover!”

About: Hello and thank you for taking the time to view my profile! My name is Rachel, I am a dog lover. Throughout my life, I have had dogs. I find them to be such a day brightener. Nothing makes my more happy than spending time with dogs. My princess Zofie (Rottweiler) is a crucial part of my family, and I understand the anxiety that comes with leaving your furry friend behind, whether it be overnight or just throughout the day for work. I love nothing more than playing with dogs, walking them to keep them stimulated and overall just hanging out with them. I care for all animals as if they are my own and treat the homes I visit and care for as if they were my own as well. I am responsible and respectful individual. With me pet sitting your animal you can rest easy knowing your loved one is in wonderful caring hands. I work from home during the week, and have the weekend off. With working from home, weekday schedule is very flexible, weekend schedule is open. In my free time, you'll find me walking with my Rottweiler (Zofie) by the river - we live in Riversdale - or at the dog park out by Valley Road! I have a fenced yard, can easily crate a dog within my home if necessary. My dog, Zofie, loves all dogs, big or small. She is getting to be a senior dog (turning 8 in 2023), so is quiet and docile. She does not do well with cats.
About: Hello fellow pet lovers! My name is Shoshana and I am a wife, a stay at home parent of 2 (ages 14 & 10) and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel owner. I’ve had pets my whole life growing up on a farm but Murphy is my first one I’ve trained from a puppy. I didn’t realize the benefit of having to find a babysitter for my pets to until now. So I’m hoping to combine giving my dog temporary playmates as well as make a contribution to my family income with dog sitting. I am often the one asked to watch friends and families dogs. As a stay at home parent I am home and able to let your pets out very regularly as well my own dog will provide companionship and playtime. Our fenced in backyard is great for playing and we go to dog parks whenever possible if that works for your pet. My dog loves other dogs.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Saskatoon
Joel has now looked after Nessa twice, and he’s been absolutely amazing both times. He leaves our home spotless, gives regular updates, and always sends the cutest photos of Nessa living her best life. She clearly feels comfortable with him — she even got to go out to a local restaurant on their last stay, which she loved. Nessa can be a bit particular, but she settled in with Joel right away. It’s such a relief knowing she’s in great hands. We’ll definitely be booking with him again.

This was our first time using Rover and our experience was terrific. Tara accomodated our needs in every way and provided updates at every visit. She did more than expected, dropping in a few extra times as she felt necessary. We (and our dog) couldn't be happier.

I've had Janice walk my dog a few times now, when I'm in a punch. She's very responsive, and ready to help. Provides feedback about the walks and is good with my dog. I would recommend Janice to others and will be happy to ask her to walk my dog again in the future.
