“This family took great care of our two small dogs. We weren’t sure how it would go in a home with two large dogs but all seemed ok. They were very accommodating to the needs of our senior dogs who are very set in their ways. We received regular picture updates which was very reassuring while on a 10 day vacation. We would book with them again if we need a sitter.”

“We are so grateful for Roberta and Diogo’s help. They are always so kind and attentive to Doug’s needs and are very responsive as well. We are lucky to have them as Doug’s caregiver!”

“Oscar had one of the best experiences and was amazing having Marie & Harvey take after him. Provided a massive peace of mind on a very busy conference week. Completely stress free and amazing with Oscar the hotdog haha.”

“Maria took such wonderful care of Maisy. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and treated Maisy like her own pup. Maisy came home happy, relaxed, and clearly very comfortable with her. Maria also communicated well throughout the stay, which gave us great peace of mind. We truly appreciate her flexibility and the care she provided. Highly recommend Maria to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving sitter!”

“I will continue to book with Yiwen & Gaoyuan. I completely trust them to take care of Wesley; the sitters are flexible, responsive, and always keep me in the loop when I’m away on holiday. A big thank you, as always 🥰”

About: A few years ago, I welcomed a little dog into my life and quickly discovered just how much I love having dogs around. My intention is to provide your dog - a safe home, where they are loved and protected. I believe in positive dog psychology, and positive reinforcement. I welcome small-breed dogs, preferably under 20 lbs, as my own dog is 12 lbs. He is a friendly, social 5-year-old Dachshund–Jack Russell mix who enjoys the company of other dogs. I work from home, so your dog will have regular companionship and supervision throughout the day and will not be left alone for extended periods. I have a fenced yard, where your dog can go out. We live near a park, and will go for two walks as a minimum throughout the day. My dog is fully vaccinated, and I ask that visiting dogs are also up to date on their vaccinations. I prefer dogs to be kennel trained for nighttime and for short periods if I need to step out during the day. I will only accept one visiting dog at a time to ensure your dog and mine are well-attended to.
About: I’ve been around animals in one way or another for most of my life. That includes growing up on a farm with typical animals like cows and unusual animals like muskoxen, as well as pets. We had cats and all sizes of dogs. I even helped my grandpa with his whippets he raced. In my adult life, I’ve continued to be around animals, not only with family pets, but also sitting for friends and time spent volunteering with a wildlife rehabilitation group. The latter got me hands-on experience working with a variety of animals, including all types birds (songbirds, ducks, owls, etc.) muskrats, foxes and even a wolf pup! I currently work 8:30-5, Monday to Friday, so have time to pop in for a quick visit before work and then time in the evenings for more visits and walks. That work schedule also leaves me free for doing it all on the weekend! I want to make sure that pets are comfortable whether I’m in their home or they are in mine. Sometimes that means they want lots of attention, sometimes that means they want their space. I have a good-sized yard that can give pets room to run about if they want to and live near several parks that are great for walks.
“The family were very accommodating, excited and loved our puppy! He was taken for walks and lots of play time outside. He also with their son who really enjoyed our pup. I would recommend this sitter.”

“Jackie was fabulous with our dogs. They seemed to home right in with her. Jackie stayed in daily contact with us and sent many pictures, which made us miss them less while on an 8 day vacation”

“Megan is awesome! She watched my puppy for a week and did an incredible job! Gave me constant updates and pictures of my little dog playing and getting lots of love and attention! Highly recommend Megan to anyone looking for someone to watch their dog as she is amazing!!”

“Everything was great with Kaitlin! This was our first time using Rover to have someone watch our pup and we felt super confident and comfortable knowing our dog was in good hands. Would definitely use Kaitlyn again in the future!”

About: I have volunteered in many Pet Shelter Homes where I have taken dogs out for walks and playdates, provided company, and care for both dogs and cats. I also have lots of experience in small animal care as I have previously owned Hamsters and currently own Guinea Pigs. I'm a university student currently studying Animal Science, and I am an aspiring Vet who is very passionate in animal care. I am in school during the week from hours ranging between 9am-6pm, but I am free after those hours and weekends to provide essential care for your pets! If you would like to schedule other hours, please do not hesitate to reach out. After asking for detailed instructions from the pet's owner(s), I will accommodate whatever the pet will need. For example, I will ask the pet owner if the pet has triggers for aggression, trauma / important medical needs, likes/dislikes, special needs, etc. With these information provided, I will take care of the pet to the best of my abilities to accommodate the pet's needs and meet the pet owner's expectations.
“Richa and Abhishek were absolutely fantastic! Right away our Bianca felt so comfortable with them. They understood her needs as a senior dog with separation anxiety and made sure she felt loved and secure the entire time we were away. With frequent updates and pictures we were able to enjoy our vacation knowing our fur-baby was well taken care of. We highly recommend these sitters and will definitely be return clients. - Anita & AJ”
About: Hi, I’m Carol! I believe every dog deserves more than just “care”—they deserve adventure, attention, and love. I’m active and full of energy, which means your pup gets real exercise, not just a quick stroll around the block. What sets me apart? I treat every visit like it matters—whether that’s a power walk, a fun game of fetch, or quiet cuddle time. With me, your dog comes home happy, tired, and tail-wagging every time. I do care how my dogs are doing when others watch them so you can be sure when I watch your family fur babies that you will get some great photo updates of how their day is going (unless you prefer not too). Meet and greets are necessary as we have our own dogs and kids. Also, we require that you bring their kennel with their bed so that have a familiar space to go to when they need a break. I work from home, which gives me flexibility and plenty of breaks throughout the day to care for pets. My schedule is balanced so I can give each pup the attention, exercise, and love they deserve. Whether it’s a walk, playtime, or some extra cuddles, I make sure every visit is relaxed, active, and tail-wagging. I work from home, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for pets throughout the day. My schedule is balanced so I can give every dog attention, exercise, and affection without feeling rushed. Whether it’s a good walk, an energizing play session, or some quality cuddle time, I make sure each visit is full of love and fun. I also have two fixed, extremely socialized dogs—a friendly female and a playful male—who love making new friends, so your pup will feel right at home.
“Annissa and her family were great with our puppy, Rosie. Annissa loves dogs, and you can definitely tell. Her dogs are incredibly well-behaved and obedient. She included Rosie in their day-to-day activities, taking her to work with her for the day, hanging out with the family, and attending a few ball games. I'd definitely recommend her!”

Saskatoon pet parents share their Rover experiences
Shoshana and her family looked after Annie with so much love and caring. Annie seemed to really enjoy her stay and seemed right at home. Shoshana shared pictures and videos which really made us comfortable that Annie was in great hands. We will definitely use Shoshana again in the future.

Rachel took great care of my dogs, Paimon and Levi, and they had a calm and comfortable weekend with her. I was able to fully enjoy my trip knowing my babies were in good hands. Her dog, Sadi, was also wonderful and helped my dogs feel more at ease. Rachel kept me updated every day and sent me photos, which I really appreciated. She will definitely be my first choice for my next trip!
Morgan was amazing! My dog is quite anxious and quirky and she was welcoming, kind and unfazed. It took my dog a while but he got comfortable with her, which eased my worries. She communicated promptly and regularly. Also, her pets at home are very friendly and calm, just like her!

Mikela was responsive, communicated clearly and took very good care of my dog. She went out of her way to buy chicken-free treats to accommodate his allergy. She also clipped his nails (after checking with me) while he stayed with her. She sent updates and photos to reassure me that my dog was safe and happy throughout his stay. I would leave my dog with her again.

Kaitlyn was easy to communicate with and was able and willing to accommodate a last minute request! She asked good questions, was knowledgeable and I felt very comfortable having her watch our pup! She sent updates and photos throughout the day - which I appreciated. Rosin and Kona had a great time together and I'd definitely book again in the future!
