I have always love taking care of animals. My experience in pets care is from having my own and caring for family and friends pets over the years. I am diligent about feeding, exercise and grooming schedule to promote health and wellness. I work M-F flexible hours, really close to my house, so your pets will never be unattended for longer than 4 hrs. I enjoy all kinds of walks, from strolls around the block to lengthy hikes in the Meewasin Trail. For me, walks are the best way to connect with dogs and a fantastic opportunity for keeping them fit and relax, as well as enabling them to socialize and satisfy their natural curiosity. I enjoy taking pets pictures, I will always keep you updated so you won’t miss your four-legged friend.

Being an anxious pet parent, leaving Gretchen isn’t easy but Ruth really put all my worries at ease and made it so much easier to leave her there! Ruth is a patient and calm sitter who really understands how to make anxious dogs comfortable. She was incredibly kind and helpful taking care of our dog while we had a houseful of people over the weekend which would have been a horrible experience for our dog. I would highly recommend her!

Schedule
Available for long morning walks before I go to work, or during the afternoon to drain dogs energy and keep them out of trouble wether they are staying at my place or their own home.

I offer the best care for dogs in my home with access to a fenced garden. I don’t own any other pet, so your dog will have my full attention.
A typical day
I love walking by the river with dogs, they enjoy the exercise and have opportunities to explore, sniff and play. A simple walk can enhance your pup’s emotional health, help them to release excess energy, and can even help them to sleep better at night.
