I've had dogs my whole life. My parents bred German Shepherds and Yorkshire Terriers. I went on to own two spirited Basset Hounds (one of whom was deaf).

My yard is partially fenced so I go outside with every dog in my care. We walk in the yard for short breaks and go for at least 1 longer walk in the neighborhood every 10hrs or so. More if it's nice out. Inside I ensure we do activities to engage your dog's senses (such as lick mats, sniff games, or fetch). When required, I will give your dog a brushing or a wash if they are amenable to it.

Cassandra has been wonderful!!! Our dog has been well cared for and well loved during her stays with Cassandra. Cassandra is great to communicate with and attentive and insightful (for example, noticing our pup was licking her paws more one day). I couldn’t be happier!
Cassandra has taken care of my dog, Melon, on a few occasions, and recently boarded for the night. Melon can be a bit shy, but when I showed up the other day, and Melon was excited to see Cassandra and her partner, I was assured she’d be fine spending the night. Cassandra has been thoughtful and nurturing, making Melon feel comfortable. She has a calm, grounding energy that makes her excellent with animals.

My puppy came back so so happy. I had booked last minute and Cassandra was nothing but understanding and patient about time conflicts. She responded very quickly to any messages I sent throughout the day and had ZERO issues asking for pictures or updates. How my dog came back relaxed and ready for bed and cuddles. It was so nice to come back to. AMAZINGGGG
Cassandra T. cancelled a booking 2 days before it was scheduled to begin.
It was my first time using Rover, and Cassandra was amazing! She sent photos and kept me updated on how my cat was doing. Very accommodating and took great care of my cat. 10/10 - I’ll definitely be booking with her again!

Schedule
I work from home in a non-customer-facing role full-time. I have space in my day for walks, attention, cuddles etc. You dog will get what they need according to their individual requirements, whether they need some extra loving and treats to feel at ease or some space to just chill.

- Please let me know if your dog/cat has any special needs, their bathroom habits (do they go outside reliably, use a pee pad reliably), or behaviours to watch for. What their training level is and if they are good (or not) with kids. My stepchildren aren't always around, but sometimes are, and I want to ensure the best environment for your pet. Your pet and their comfort is my top priority.
