“Cayla took great care of my senior cat and even spent some extra time with him. She kept me updated on how he was doing, and I came home to a calm and happy cat. I would recommend her!”

“Joel is like the cat whisperer! With one generally anti-social cat and the other quite outgoing I was curious to see how my guys would respond to Joel and both of them were curious, engaged, and friendly. They got Joel's undivided attention, with lots of play and cuddles, and I could not have asked for better. I know we will definitely call Joel again!”

“I wouldn't even think of leaving Molly in anyone else's care! All of Molly's needs are looked after very well by Laura. She even brought toys to keep Molly entertained. This was the longest I had left her (2 weeks). Laura sent pics and I could see she was well and liked Laura. Great service by a caring cat-lover!”

“Our 2 cats loved having Afton stay with them for 2 weeks! Our 2 babies managed to behave…somewhat. Afton sent us daily updates with pictures, that we appreciated so much! When we got home, our babies did not ignore us, so we know they were well taken care of during the 2 weeks. We would definitely book with Afton again and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone for their pet sitting needs!!”

About: Hi! I'm Kristine☺️. With 20+ years of experience caring for my own pets and providing pet sitting services, I am deeply passionate about ensuring your dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. I am currently an at-home dog mom to a 3.5 lb female Chihuahua, which allows me to give my full attention to each pet I sit. From raising puppies and providing training, to caring for senior dogs in need of daily medications (oral and subcutaneous fluids), I’ve gained hands-on experience in handling various needs. I’ve also cared for dogs with special conditions such as epilepsy, heart disease, kidney disease, and IVDD, so I am highly attuned to recognizing any clinical signs that may require immediate attention and extra care. I prioritize your pet’s safety, comfort, and enrichment. Whether your dog requires a little extra TLC or simply a friendly companion for walks and playtime, I promise they will receive the best care possible, tailored to their individual needs. Since I am home full time, I have the flexibility and dedication to ensure your pup gets the care they deserve. My schedule is completely adaptable, allowing me to accommodate your dog’s needs at any time of day. Each day revolves around my pup’s well-being, and I’m always ready to add your dog into the mix for playtime, walks, and individualized attention. Whether it’s a leisurely stroll, interactive play, or time spent simply relaxing together, I will make sure your dog feels safe, loved, and engaged. I have ample time throughout the week to create a routine that suits your dog’s needs, whether that includes early morning potty breaks, midday play sessions, or evening cuddle time. Your dog’s comfort and happiness are my priority, and I’ll make sure to give them the same care and attention that I give my own pup. At my home, your dog will be under constant supervision and never left alone or unattended. I understand how important it is to trust that your pup is safe, so I will make sure they are always within sight and well cared for at all times. I am certified in First Aid for Dogs and Cats through the Canadian Red Cross, so you can feel confident that your pet’s safety and health are a top priority. We have a secure, fenced yard with plenty of space for small dogs to run and play safely. If your dog is crate-trained, I’m happy to accommodate their routine to ensure they feel comfortable. Our Chihuahua loves to play, so your pup will have a friendly companion to interact with. For dogs with special needs, we have baby gates available and stairs leading up to the bed and couch—not only for pups with back issues, but also to prevent unsafe jumping from heights. Additionally, we have a pet stroller that can be used for senior pups or those with mobility challenges, so they can still enjoy fresh air and outings comfortably. My home can easily be adapted to provide comfort and support for your furbaby.

About: The cats I have looked after in recent years have given me insight into why cats are amazing pets, I love learning about the quirks and special qualities that each one has and appreciate getting to know them in person.

“I hired Stephanie to conduct a daily check-in on my cat for a couple days while I was gone. She did a wonderful job with refilling the food/water, scooping the litter, and making sure to give my cat lots of affection and playtime. She followed all instructions and kept me updated the entire time with details and photos. My cat stayed happy and well-cared for while I was able to go out of town with no extra anxieties or stress. I could not recommend her enough and thank you again Stephanie for taking care of my kitty!”

“Brooklyn is an amazing pet sitter, I can’t recommend her enough. I’ve used her several times now and she always takes such good care of my kitties. She’s been so flexible in accommodating my senior cats feeding times to go with her insulin injections. She was happy to learn how to do the injections and mastered it right away. She’s dependable, professional, always communicates after every visit with a note and pictures. Can’t say enough good things about her! Thank you Brooklyn for taking such good care of my fur babies.”

About: My first love in life are cats and always will be. I have had many cats growing up and hope to have many more in the future. As a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) with a few years of clinical experience, I bring professional animal care expertise directly to your pets while you're away. I have experience caring for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, small mammals, reptiles, and other companion pets. My background in veterinary medicine allows me to confidently recognize signs of illness, administer medications when needed, and provide attentive care tailored to your pet's individual needs. Having worked in a Fear Free® and AAHA-accredited veterinary clinic, I understand the importance of minimizing stress and creating positive experiences for animals. I use low-stress techniques and always prioritize your pet's comfort, safety, and emotional well-being. I have been around animals my entire life and feel that I can relate to them better than humans sometimes. I maintain a flexible schedule and am happy to work with your family's needs whenever possible. I have a 8:30-4:30 Monday to Friday, but would love to care for your pets outside of those hours. “Clover goes to Mitchell's place 1-2 times per week and is always very excited to go. She is always tired and happy when we pick her up. It gives us peace of mind that she is so well taken care of on our long work days.”

“Tara watches Sadie for daycare and she is amazing. Sadie can be a little timid in the beginning and Tara was amazing at letting her warm up. Tara’s communication is great and she is super accommodating!”

“We are so grateful for the amazing and attentive care given to our puppy Benji by Patrisha! She was communicative and sent pictures and updates frequently during his first ever pet sitting experience! Benji was nervous at first but warmed up to her and her family by the end of the stay. We would definitely book with her again! Thanks again Patrisha!!”

“What a 10/10 experience for my dog Mr. Moo and for myself. Cassandra was a strong communicator, kind, and so welcoming. Moo immediately settled into her lovely home. Cassandra sent me pictures throughout the day, played with Moo and gave him all the snuggles and met all of his needs. At pick up we received a little report card on how Moo did in the new setting. It was SO adorable and it was the best part of my day getting the little report card. I would highly recommend Cassandra to anyone!!! We are so lucky to have found a reliable, safe, and kind person like Cassandra. We look forward to working with her again! ♥️♥️♥️♥️”

“As always my go to sitters! Alex and Hailie have been very flexible and quick to respond to me! My dog Atlas adores them! They are his second family and treat him as one of their own!”

“Pup seemed very happy to go to daycare and be around people for the day. Must have gotten a lot of exercise and had lots of fun since he passed out cold when getting home which is quite rare for him. Nice to receive picture updates during the day. Will definitely book with Hannah and her family again.”

About: Experienced Pet Sitter with a Passion for Animals Hi! I’m a lifelong pet lover with a rich history of caring for various animals. Growing up with a cat, budgie, hamster, two bunnies (and their babies), and two standard poodles, I’ve always been surrounded by furry and feathered friends. Inspired by my parents’ successful in-home pet sitting service, I decided to follow in their footsteps. My journey includes being a guardian home for a doodle breeder in Ontario, where I gained valuable experience and confidence in dog care. Currently, we have a 3-year-old standard poodle who is energetic, friendly, and eager to make new friends. Our home is busy and loving, ready to welcome your pet and make them feel safe and comfortable. What I Offer: • Two leashed walks per day • Lots of love and snuggles • Quiet space for pets needing downtime (I work from home in a basement office) • Fenced yard for fresh air and playtime • Crates available if desired While my primary experience is with poodles and doodles, I’m open to all breeds, provided they’re good with other dogs, kids, and our caged gecko. We will treat your pet as our own, ensuring they receive plenty of love and attention. Looking forward to connecting and providing a safe, comfortable option for your pet so you can travel worry-free. Dog care fits seamlessly into my schedule as a stay-at-home parent. With an SUV perfect for pet transport, I’m always ready for leashed walks and trips to the dog park. About: Hello, my name is Mikela, I'm 30yrs old I had two dogs and a pig but I no longer have them with me. MJ who was our oldest dog, and was disabled due to an accident is no longer with us because of old age and her disability. Her sister Onyx is now thirteen, they were a funny pair and you knew who was top dog. MJ was a small yorkie/pom/jack russel. I got her from a farm and I adopted Onyx who also came from a reserve. So both our dogs are rescues and mixes, we also had a pot belly pig with Onyx named Dexter. Their relationship was something I wish could have lasted longer but because of circumstances thought differently. I can't deal with cats here due to my mom being allergic so we don't own any, our home is just dog friendly and whatever other pet you have that isn't a cat. I'm hoping to earn a little extra money with this job so solid inquiries only. No stepping in with interest and then backing away, I'm hoping the interest you bring will be final. I find the interest and then finding someone else rude because you make me hopeful and happy, so solid inquiries only please. A little about me I've got epilepsy and that's why I'm doing this, I live with my parents so I don't live alone. Because of my epilepsy I can't drive. My schedule is open, I'm currently looking for work from home. So I'm open after 12:00am until 7:30(ish)pm for boarding/looking after your animals. We can customize the time too. Our fence has just been redone so your dog won't be able to jump or get out. We've got treats for my one dog Onyx so if you are okay with sharing I'll share. We also have a water dish and our place is fairly clean, we don't have a spot to crate and I won't be able to come pick your pets up due to my disability.
About: A few years ago, I welcomed a little dog into my life and quickly discovered just how much I love having dogs around. My intention is to provide your dog - a safe home, where they are loved and protected. I believe in positive dog psychology, and positive reinforcement. I welcome small-breed dogs, preferably under 20 lbs, as my own dog is 12 lbs. He is a friendly, social 5-year-old Dachshund–Jack Russell mix who enjoys the company of other dogs. I work from home, so your dog will have regular companionship and supervision throughout the day and will not be left alone for extended periods. I have a fenced yard, where your dog can go out. We live near a park, and will go for two walks as a minimum throughout the day. My dog is fully vaccinated, and I ask that visiting dogs are also up to date on their vaccinations. I prefer dogs to be kennel trained for nighttime and for short periods if I need to step out during the day. I will only accept one visiting dog at a time to ensure your dog and mine are well-attended to.
“Morgan was great with Maisy! She kept me updated throughout the day and took really good care of her. I appreciated the notes about her eating and even cleaning her up after getting muddy. Maisy came home happy and tired, which is always a good sign 😊 Would definitely book with her again”

“Pita has had a great time with them! Now we feel much more relieved because we know someone will take care of Pita with love and patience. Thank you Marie, Harvey and Mike!”

“I dropped my boy off in the morning and he was so excited to see Megan! She kept in touch throughout the day and sent lots of pictures. He was so happy to be there and sooo exhausted from playing all day long! He fell asleep as soon as we got back into the car and was out for the rest of the night haha. It's such a relief knowing he's in good hands and is having the best time while he's there, we'll definitely be bringing him back!”

“Jenny is such an amazing sitter. She has been watching my very anxious golden retriever Charlie a few times now and I can see how my dog is getting more comfortable and more excited to go back to her. I feel very comfortable leaving my pup at her place as I know he is loved and well taken care of. She sends lots of videos and updates and makes sure you’re always updated about your fur baby 😌😍”

About: I have over 10 years of experience caring for pets, and animals have been part of my life since childhood. I have lived with dogs, cats, rabbits, and birds, so I understand different temperaments, routines, and needs. I have also cared for pets belonging to friends and family, including feeding, walking, administering medication, and providing companionship. I am patient, attentive, and genuinely love animals, which helps me build trust quickly with them. I’m comfortable caring for senior pets and following specific instructions to ensure their comfort and well-being. Pet care fits very well into my daily routine. I work during the week, but I return home early, so I have plenty of time to dedicate to the pets. My husband and my daughter are also at home and help care for the pets with the same love and responsibility that I do. We are a family that truly enjoys being around animals, so pets are never left alone or without attention. I always prioritize safety, routine, and the comfort of each pet. Although we don’t have a backyard, we are fully committed to taking dogs on walks several times a day (approximately every 3 hours). I carefully follow the owner’s instructions regarding feeding schedules, medications, exercise, and any special needs. Pets are always supervised, treated with kindness, and cared for in a calm, clean, and loving environment, whether in my home or in the owner’s home.

“Kristine and Riley have been absolutely wonderful with Leo! They are reliable, caring, and go above and beyond to make sure he’s happy, safe, and well-exercised. “I needed a dog walker on short notice and was so lucky to find Emma! She was incredibly kind, flexible, and accommodating—even with my last-minute schedule changes. My dog Leo absolutely loved his walks with her and came back happy and content every time. It gave me such peace of mind knowing he was in good hands. Highly recommend Emma to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog walker!”

“Absolutely wonderful, she did such a good job with Moose. Showed up on time and ready to go, can definitely tell she’s been working with dogs for a very long time. Very kind and has excellent communication. 10/10 would book her again!”

“Chaise is awesome!! He is friendly and immediately made me feel comfortable and understood my dog, who has a history of fear aggression. I booked Chaise to walk my dog while I was away on vacation and he was excellent with communication and making me feel at ease while I was away. I would highly recommend!!”

“Zachary went beyond expectations. He takes several pictures of our Blue Heeler for every walk and writes a detailed paragraph about his experience during his waking time with Cola. He has always showed up on time for when he was scheduled, communicated well with us, and now we will continue to trust Zack to dog walk for us. I recommend that you give him a holler if you need someone for your dog walking needs.”

About: I have taken care of dogs on and off for 3 years. I have cared for my own dog, watched over my sisters two dogs while one was a puppy, and was hired to dog-sit at another house for two dogs, including a puppy. I have experience with small and large dogs, training puppies, walking multiple dogs, and giving medication orally. I currently work part-time outside the home for about four hours at a time, and am home for most of the time beyond that. I am able to take the dogs out to pee throughout the day, as well as take them on walks if needed. I have leashes that I use to take the dogs out to pee to ensure their safety in our unfenced yard. I also have a dog that is always at home to keep your fur baby company! Depending on the owners wishes, I have chew sticks that the dogs can have to keep occupied throughout the day.
About: Hello! My name is Jessica! I have watched various sizes and ages of dogs and cats in the last 10 years, mostly for people in my circle of friends and family. I also have an English Mastiff who is my bestie. I have had experience administering medications and walking multiple dogs at a time. My 'niche' would be for anyone who has a large/giant breed that is low to medium energy. I know what real drool looks like and have cloths dedicated to wiping up slobber. I've had two dogs that have been considered 'giant' breeds and I absolutely adore them. That being said I love pets of all shapes and sizes, this work is something I really enjoy doing. I love learning about animals and getting a chance to get to know them. I work M-F 8:30-5 and I'm looking to be a pet sitter for animals that can comfortably accommodate this schedule, certainly on the weekends and in the evenings, I provide regular outside breaks and walks. I understand that a pet's routine is essential to maintain, so please let me know if there are specific times and intervals for meals, walks, and any other needs for your pet! I try to allow pets to settle into a space or adjust to having a stranger in their home. Any dogs staying at my home will be separated into different crates or rooms while I am not home to prevent any issues that may arise when there are unsupervised animals in the same space. It is just me and my pup so our home is quiet for the most part, we love a nap. Please, if you have a question or request do not hesitate to ask. I want to have a successful time with your dog and if it seems that my schedule or 'style' may not be the best fit then let's figure it out so you can find the best care for your dog.
About: I’m a patient, detail-oriented sitter who understands that every pet is different. Whether your pet needs lots of activity or a calm, quiet environment, I’ll make sure they feel safe and comfortable. I enjoy having a routine, and caring for pets fits really well into that. I like staying active and getting outside, so walks and playtime are something I genuinely look forward to each day. I grew up with pets so I understand the importance of safety regarding pets. Your dog will be my number one priority from the hand off to me, during the walk, up until the leash is back in your hands.
About: I grew up with large breed dogs and love the energy they bring to a family. I dog sat for my sister for a year while she was away at school, and always offered to take my roommates dogs for walks along with my own. Neighbors and friends alike have relied on me to feed and walk their pets, and I love each animal like it were my own! Im currently on maternity leave and like getting out for fresh air. I am available for daily midday walks if you’re stuck at work and can’t get home to your pet. Pet safety is of the utmost importance, once a safe environment has been established and we’ve grown to trust each other, pets can truly enjoy their time outdoors and come back a more relaxed, loving part of your family.

We also have a water dish and our place is fairly clean, we don't have a spot to crate and I won't be able to come pick your pets up due to my disability.
About: I have volunteered in many Pet Shelter Homes where I have taken dogs out for walks and playdates, provided company, and care for both dogs and cats. I also have lots of experience in small animal care as I have previously owned Hamsters and currently own Guinea Pigs. I'm a university student currently studying Animal Science, and I am an aspiring Vet who is very passionate in animal care. I am in school during the week from hours ranging between 9am-6pm, but I am free after those hours and weekends to provide essential care for your pets! If you would like to schedule other hours, please do not hesitate to reach out. After asking for detailed instructions from the pet's owner(s), I will accommodate whatever the pet will need. For example, I will ask the pet owner if the pet has triggers for aggression, trauma / important medical needs, likes/dislikes, special needs, etc. With these information provided, I will take care of the pet to the best of my abilities to accommodate the pet's needs and meet the pet owner's expectations.
“Desiree was very communicative, was accommodating, and responded quickly. She helped out on short notice and we really appreciate her helping out with a busy schedule!”

“Kaitlin came by the morning of her dog walking date for a meet and greet with us and Jayda, our Labradoodle. Jayda liked her and she returned later in the evening to give her some company and a walk as we were out for the evening. All went well and she took good care of our fur baby. Would hire her in the future for sure.”

About: Growing up I was not allowed to have any pets, so as an adult I took every opportunity to spend time with other peoples animals. As the years went on I began house/pet sitting for my friends with dogs. Recently I have moved into a home where we were able to adopt 3 silly cats. I recently went on a vacation and used this service to care for my 3 furry boys and thought how much I would enjoy spending time with other pets on a regular basis! Picking up back yard poops is no problem, spending some time with an anxious pup during the day would spark so much joy, and cleaning litter is an everyday occurrence for me. Please let me give you peace of mind knowing that your furry friends are safe and cared for, just the way a sitter from this service did for me! I usually work at my day job from 9am until 2pm, this gives me plenty of time to take your pups on a nice evening walk. As it is not a Monday to Friday job I may also be available on the odd day for an afternoon visit as well, please reach out and we can figure something out! As a pet parent my self, I know how important it is for your furry family to have the same routine even when you are not around! I am able to follow directions, and love routine as well. Knowing your schedule is followed while away gives you the peace to enjoy your time away!
About: I have had and loved animals all my life. Since I was young I've always had animals around me. My passion for animal care began when I would watch family and friends animals, allowing me to experience taking care of animals who were elderly, blind, deaf, epileptic, diabetic, and had hypothyroidism. I began volunteering and eventually taking a summer job at my local shelter, where I learned I wanted to build a career in animal care. After gaining my certificate as a Veterinary Technical Assistant, I went on to study Animal Bioscience in University, where I am still currently studying. To this day, I still love animal care and am passionate about learning everything I can about animals. My goal on Rover is to give animals a comfortable, safe and happy experience with me, even if it is only for a check in; to give owners peace of mind their pet is getting proper care and to give pets a positive experience whenever they are in my care. Currently, I am on summer break from University and therefore have a decently open and flexible schedule for pet care, all days of the week are open for me. I have had training on harnessing and walking animals, as well as experience in kenneling, feeding and monitoring animals. I have experience administering medicine in pill form, through IV shots and in liquid form orally, if required. I have learned and experienced a variety of medical conditions and am quick to learn how to do any specific care instructions your pet may need. I have handled a variety of breeds and species, ranging from toy sized breeds to large breeds, all with differing care and feeding instructions.

Cassandra was very attentive to Maisy’s routine and needs, and communication was smooth and easy the entire time. We truly appreciated the care and would absolutely book with her again.”

“We were left in a pinch when our dog sitter was unable to take our pup, Chloe was responsive and available in short notice to take her. Our dog Nellie is a sweet girl but she has a lot of anxiety and requires an environment in which she feels safe, which is not always easy to find. Chloe met Nellie prior to us leaving her in her care and the meeting went well. Chloe was caring and receptive to Nellie’s anxiety and maintained a calming environment for her to settle into. Chloe was also very flexible with drop off and pick up times as well. Nellie did very well in Chloe’s care and we will definitely book with her again.”

“Maria provided such loving care to our puppy, Annie. Annie felt right at home and has a new bestie! Maria did a great job providing pictures and updates and as a result we had no worries on our mind about Annie. Definitely will use Maria again in future.”

About: I’ve been around animals in one way or another for most of my life. That includes growing up on a farm with typical animals like cows and unusual animals like muskoxen, as well as pets. We had cats and all sizes of dogs. I even helped my grandpa with his whippets he raced. In my adult life, I’ve continued to be around animals, not only with family pets, but also sitting for friends and time spent volunteering with a wildlife rehabilitation group. The latter got me hands-on experience working with a variety of animals, including all types birds (songbirds, ducks, owls, etc.) muskrats, foxes and even a wolf pup! I currently work 8:30-5, Monday to Friday, so have time to pop in for a quick visit before work and then time in the evenings for more visits and walks. That work schedule also leaves me free for doing it all on the weekend! I want to make sure that pets are comfortable whether I’m in their home or they are in mine. Sometimes that means they want lots of attention, sometimes that means they want their space. I have a good-sized yard that can give pets room to run about if they want to and live near several parks that are great for walks.
“Jackie was fabulous with our dogs. They seemed to home right in with her. Jackie stayed in daily contact with us and sent many pictures, which made us miss them less while on an 8 day vacation”
