Family pet-care with love
We have fostered dogs for New Hope Dog Rescue for close to 10 years and have two large-breed rescues of our own. Our dogs have graduated basic obedience training and love having dog friends stay over. As an active family, we cater to the energy needs of the dog. If you dog needs lots of walking, or lots of cuddles, we are there for them!

Wonderful family, it was an easy drop off and pick up, Beau seemed to enjoy his time.
They were fantastic and took great care of our 2 dogs while we were in vacation. Updated us while we were away and we felt they were in really good hands.

I’ve never came home after a trip to a more relaxed and looked after dog. They made being away a whole lot easier knowing she was being so well cared for.
Sully had an amazing time with Bevin and family! She played hard with their pup, Gus, and settled in quickly, like a home away from home. We received messages and pictures throughout Sully's stay which was very reassuring as it was her first nights away from home. Looking forward to next time!
This is the second time our boys have stayed with this family. Again they got along well with the family and the family’s pets. Our small dogs don’t seem to mind staying with larger dogs and seemed to adjust well.

Schedule
Our dogs are never bored because there is almost always activity in our house. My teenage daughter and I are home at lunch and my husband works until 3:00pm. My other teenage daughter is home at 3:30pm. We love long walks by the river and are a very active household.

Safety, trust & environment
We live on a 50 foot lot and have a large fenced yard. The fence is high and secure with plenty of trees and grass. We live close to the river and walk/run along the trail system everyday. We prefer longer stays.
Pets
A typical day
We take them for walks in our well-established beautiful neighbourhood and along the Meewasin trail system. Our house is 1100 sq feet and there is plenty of spaces for them to rest and relax. We like to play fetch with the dogs and are active even in the winter. We have a cabin an hour away located on the river and we enjoy taking the dogs with us when we stay overnight.
