I’ve been around animals in one way or another for most of my life. That includes growing up on a farm with typical animals like cows and unusual animals like muskoxen, as well as pets. We had cats and all sizes of dogs. I even helped my grandpa with his whippets he raced. In my adult life, I’ve continued to be around animals, not only with family pets, but also sitting for friends and time spent volunteering with a wildlife rehabilitation group. The latter got me hands-on experience working with a variety of animals, including all types birds (songbirds, ducks, owls, etc.) muskrats, foxes and even a wolf pup!

Thanks so much for taking care of our pup! Jaime was wonderful — Faust was happy and she even gave us a few tips for the drive (since she knew the trip we were making better than we did!)
We left our dog Kaayko with Jaime for a month, and she did an amazing job! Kaayko had endless yard playtime, lots of great walks, and came home super happy and fluffy. I have known Jaime for over a decade, and it was apparent from when I first met her that her love of animals was and still is a huge part of her personality. She grew up in a family that had a strong respect and knowledge of care for animals. She has cared for my cat, Minnie, while I've been away, and she always provides thoughtful updates for us on Minnie's care or activities for the day while we're away. Jaime is one of the first people I think of when I need a cat sitter, or if our friends are looking for a dog sitter. She is responsible, knowledgeable, and invested in the happiness of animals in her care.

Schedule
I currently work 8:30-5, Monday to Friday, so have time to pop in for a quick visit before work and then time in the evenings for more visits and walks. That work schedule also leaves me free for doing it all on the weekend!

Safety, trust & environment
I want to make sure that pets are comfortable whether I’m in their home or they are in mine. Sometimes that means they want lots of attention, sometimes that means they want their space. I have a good-sized yard that can give pets room to run about if they want to and live near several parks that are great for walks.
A typical day
Whether it’s a walk, a game of fetch or just chilling out and getting some pets, I’m happy to do a bunch of different activities to make your furry friend feel cared for.
