Looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, and trustworthy pet sitter? As a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) with a few years of clinical experience, I bring professional animal care expertise directly to your pets while you're away. I have experience caring for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, small mammals, reptiles, and other companion pets. My background in veterinary medicine allows me to confidently recognize signs of illness, administer medications when needed, and provide attentive care tailored to your pet's individual needs. Having worked in a Fear Free® and AAHA-accredited veterinary clinic, I understand the importance of minimizing stress and creating positive experiences for animals. I use low-stress techniques and always prioritize your pet's comfort, safety, and emotional well-being. I have been around animals my entire life and feel that I can relate to them better than humans sometimes. I maintain a flexible schedule and am happy to work with your family's needs whenever possible. I have a 8:30-4:30 Monday to Friday, but would love to care for your pets outside of those hours. Please note that I am unable to board pets in my home, but I am more than happy to care for your pets in the comfort and familiarity of their own environment, where many animals feel safest and most relaxed. Your pets deserve experienced, compassionate care while you're away. I look forward to meeting you and your furry or scaled family members!

Super responsive. Shared lots of pictures. Was great with our dog!
Samantha was amazing with our dog Bruce! Bruce is... a lot. He's got big feelings and really prefers to stay in his own home with his people around — even one night at his favourite daycare left him with lasting separation anxiety (he still waits at the gate every pickup time convinced we've abandoned him). So when Samantha came to meet him beforehand and still took the job, we were relieved but also a little nervous. We shouldn't have worried. We came home to a genuinely happy, relaxed dog — zero anxiety, excited to see us but not stressed out at all, which for Bruce is huge. The house was tidy, and Samantha kept us updated the whole time so we always knew how he was doing. She clearly gets anxious dogs and made Bruce feel safe in his own space instead of just "managed." We'll absolutely be booking her again.
Samantha took great care of Remi. She was excellent at communication and flexible with my return time. My house was left neat and tidy. I will definitely rebook with Samantha in the future :)
Samantha was absolutely wonderful with my dogs!! My dogs are large and in charge which isn't a fit for everyone, but Samantha was so great with them. 😊 Cannot recommend her enough!
My Frenchie Judith is very weary of new people. So far so good with Samantha. She is already gaining Judith's trust after 1 meet and greet and 1 drop in/walk.

A typical day
I love walking as much as your dog :) Depending on their needs, we can do a lap around the block or long stroll around the city where they can smell everything and have fun! Let me know their favorite activities or toys and I'll be sure to win them over.
