Pet care experience
Grew up with a hobby farm <3
I have been around and cared for a wide variety of animals throughout my life growing up on a hobby farm, which included dogs, and cats. I understand that caring for animals is both a responsibility and a long-term commitment, and I take that responsibility seriously. I currently have two large dogs of my own and regularly foster dogs. Through fostering, I have gained experience working with a wide range of needs. When appropriate, I am able to accommodate dogs with different needs in my home by temporarily having my own dogs stay at our acreage, allowing me to provide a safe and comfortable environment for special needs foster or boarding dogs. A few years ago, I completed a 80-hour volunteer placement at a veterinary office in Prince Albert. At the time, I was hoping to pursue a career as a veterinary technician, although my career path eventually took me in a different direction. This experience provided me with valuable exposure to veterinary care and the professional handling of animals. In addition, I have experience with dog agility from my time training a service dog. Training a service animal taught me the importance of patience, consistency, positive reinforcement, communication, and building trust between an animal and its handler. I have also worked at a dog kennel for several years and have extensive experience providing dog walking and pet-sitting services for friends, family, and members of my community. These experiences have helped me develop a strong understanding of animal care, safety, handling, and the importance of adapting care to each individual animal's needs. I have previously been certified in Dog and Cat CPR and First Aid, and I plan to renew my certification again this year. I am committed to continuing to expand my knowledge and skills so that I can provide animals with safe, responsible, and compassionate care.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a LARGE double wide fenced lot. It is fenced down the middle as well if animals are needing to be separated. I have extra rooms and kennels if animals are needing to be separated, kennelled or quarantined. As well as the kitchen being gated off when nobody is home. All plants are animal safe, and the basement is closed off. I have a camera in my yard and front door. Alarms Co2 and fire in the whole house that is linked directly to the fire and police line. If needing to get to a clients home I make sure my day is planned around having time to get to those animals in a healthy amount of time.
Ratings and reviews
Katt is absolutely amazing! We have had a long-time relationship with her caring for our dogs, Bear and Molly, and we couldn’t trust anyone more with our furry family members. Katt has always treated our fur babies like they are her own, giving them so much love, attention, and care. Knowing they are with her gives us complete peace of mind when we’re away. We know when we are away our pets will be walked, played with and loved!!! We are so grateful to have found Katt and have built such a trusting relationship over the years. There truly is no better care out there! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will love their pets like family. ❤️🐾
We have had Katteresa house sit, but more importantly, pet sit multiple times. She is a true dog lover and our dogs would be very excited to see her when she would arrive. We knew they would be well looked after, but more importantly, loved! She would take them for walks, to the dog park, and play with them out in the yard. We always had great peace of mind when we were away for various lengths of time. I highly recommend Katt. Whether it is for short or long term, she is great!
I run a dog rescue called Pretty in Pink Animal Rescue based out of Prince Albert. Katt has been a foster for us over the past several years. She is a dog owner herself and cares for her foster dogs as much as she does for our fosters. Katt has brought her fosters to all the medical appointments needed and administered multiple medications for the foster dogs. We trust Katt with any foster dog that is needing a place to go. Katt loves animals so much and would treat your dog with the same love and compassion. She goes above and beyond to make sure the animal is cared for. We are very lucky to have her as a foster and hope that you can experience the same dedication!
Katt has been amazing in taking care of my ball python and cats on and off for years. She cares deeply for animals, especially others pets. She takes her dogs everywhere and plays makes sure they have what they need. Youd be stoked to have her looking after your furry and scaled loved ones
Kat has watched my dog a few times now, my dog loves her and she sends lots of updates and photos. Highly recommend her services
I have known katterisa zwarich for approximately 17 years. In that time she has cared for and fostered many dogs of all breeds. Katt is always happy to be out meeting new people with there pups and always very knowledgeable about different breeds. Katerisa once took my Husky as a foster. Her name was Shout. She cared for my husky incredibly well and managed the health problems shout came with over her time. Katt kept me updated with mountain adventures and the daily life and the health of Shout and this always made me know ,Shout could not have been with anyone better. If I now needed help with my furr Buddy. Katterisa would always be the first person I come too.
