“Natasha was very accommodating and understanding. I had to book a rover last minute and she was able to help us with our needs. 10/10 and very good when it comes to communication, she also sent us pictures of our dogs to let us know how they did! thank you again. I’ll definitely book/message her again if needed.”

“Availability is always ideal. Easy to communicate with. Never misses a check in and our dogs seem to really like her and happy when we get home from our travels. Thanks Jackie!”

“We were extremely pleased with the service provided for Ernie our Dog. They were on time, stayed for the whole time booked, gave medications, sent photos and updates, all which gave me a sense of security knowing my baby was being cared for by such amazing sitters. We will definitely be booking more visits again.”

“Micaela was the perfect person to check in on our dogs. She took the time to meet them prior to our first scheduled visit. We received lots of picture and the dogs seemed very happy and content upon our return home. We have one very anxious pup, so this is a huge win!”

About: I have had pets ever since I was about 6 years old. I have house sit many family friends pets from dogs to cats to any pet really. I love all animals and understand their needs. I have cared for dogs and cats from when they were first born to seniors. Whatever your pet may need I will be sure to go above and beyond to ensure you and your pet are satisfied! I work part time so I am able to be quite flexible and can spend lots of time with your pets. I look forward to discussing how we can fit our schedules together! About: Hello! I’m Kayla. Since I was a baby, I’ve loved animals. The older I get, my love for dogs seems to grow stronger. I am a certified dog trainer through Animal Behaviour College. I have 2 dogs of my own and I will definitely take care of and love any animal as if they were my own. I am currently a stay at home mom, but I used to be a dog walker, and I miss it so much! I have lots of availability, as I spend pretty much all of my time at home. My dogs are like my children, and I always put their safety and any animal’s safety first. I make sure I don’t take more than one dog at a time to ensure the dog I am with gets all of my attention. (Unless requested). I love socializing dogs in the right setting but think it’s important to spend one on one time with each dog.

About: I specialize in caring for small to medium dogs and cats, offering reliable walks, drop-in visits, and attentive care tailored to each pet’s routine. I grew up around cats and dogs on a farm and currently have one fur baby of my own, Jasper — a tuxedo cat who is very spoiled and very loved. I work as a food and beverage server with a mix of day and evening shifts, which allows me flexibility to accommodate pet care around my schedule. I’m happy to discuss availability and find times that work best for you and your pet. I do require bookings to be made at minimum 1 day in advance to ensure adequate care and time to do a meet and greet beforehand to get to know your pet. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I carefully follow routines and special instructions, respect your home, and provide calm, trustworthy care so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
“Needed a last minute check in during a clinical shift. Reached out to her first and she was so responsive! Spent time with my pup, refilled his water without me asking and was super good at communicating with me:) highly recommend!!”

“Juane did a great job of looking after my two dogs. The dogs do take time to get used to a person, but Juane was patient and kind to them. They looked really happy and well taken care of when we got home. I also liked the updates and photos during every visit with the puppies! Will definitely book again with Juane!”

“I always appreciate having Monique watch my senior cat. She sends great updates every day, and is responsive to my cat’s needs as required, so I can relax and enjoy my time away!”

About: I’ve had the privilege of caring for cats and dogs alongside my family while raising three children. I love taking the time to get to know each cat’s unique personality and letting them be themselves. I always give them space and wait for them to come to me before offering pets and affection. I am recently retired and have a flexible schedule with a reliable car. I am available whenever needed and can visit 2x a day if needed. I first observe the pet before I approach them and like to follow care instructions to a T. If the cat shows any signs of wanting to be alone, I leave them alone but offer gentle words of encouragement just so they know I am a friend. I let the cat sniff my hand first and make their decision, I noticed after a few visits with timid cats that they often warm up if you just let them be. I always double check the door when I enter a home and double check that its locked when I leave.
About: Hello! I'm and Registered nurse and my boyfriend is a Correctional officer. We have both grown up with pets in the house and they have always been an important part of our lives! Having grown up around animals, we feel very comfortable looking after any and all kinds. We have both moved away from home and our time spent with animals has sadly diminished. With that being said, we would love the opportunity to take care of your animals, not only to benefit you, but also us! We love to travel, so having our own pets at this time would be challenging! Please don't hesitate to reach out, even if you just have a question. We look forward to hearing from you and meeting your pets!! Thank you for your time :) My partner and I work shift work, so our schedule varies, but we can work it around your pets to make sure they get the care they need! We have a huge fenced backyard that backs onto a dog park. It's the perfect spot for taking care of pets and offers lots of space/access to the outdoors.
About: I’ve spent my whole life with atleast one dog in our home. From dobermans to pitbulls and huskies, I have experience with all kinds of breeds. I have had the privilege of assisting local pet owners to help their dogs overcome anxiety around other animals with help from my current dog, George! I know first hand how expensive pet care can be and how it can make or break the possibility of a trip. I strive to keep costs low for pet owners but never compromise on the quality of care your pet receives. Pet treats and toys are replenished monthly to ensure new toys and snacks (if allowed) for all pups visiting! I work full-time but am always home evenings & weekends. I am able to be home on my lunch break on the weekdays that I work. Our evenings and weekends are spent enjoying time outside and time as a family! I have a fenced yard, the friendliest large-breed dog to keep your pup company, and happy to Crate your pup or let them enjoy one of our extra dog beds. Some pups require a little more one-on-one care and attention. Whether they are nervous, have a lot to say, or full of energy, their needs are always met!
About: I have had 6 years of dog care experience, caring for and walking friends and family members dogs. I have experience with both small and medium sized dogs. The long term care home I work at has dogs and cats and caring for the animals is pet of my daily responsibilities. I am currently a full time nursing student with classes 3 days a week. I love going for both morning and evening walks and I am looking for a friendly furry little companion! I also work at a server one night a week and have a casual job in health care. Open 3-4 days a week for walks! I have neither a closed on deck or a fenced yard so housing a dog at my place would be difficult. I am a young, fit adult who would be able to safely guide dogs on walks and can be trusted to keep them out of harmful environments and returned home unharmed.
Martensville pet parents share their Rover experiences
Jackie was amazing with our dog while we were on vacation! I highly recommend her for any care you would need for your animals. Our dog isn’t always good with everyone and she was awesome with him. Will definitely be using her in the future and I will be passing her name on to anyone I know with animals!
Cathy was very content when we got home! Amber was very accommodating and sent pictures and an overview of the visit every time she came to visit our cat. It’s so nice to know that there are people like Amber who will give their valuable time to spend time with our animals when we are away! Thanks so much Amber!!
