About: With over 15 years of animal care experience, I’ve had the privilege of caring for pets of all shapes, sizes, ages, and personalities. Growing up surrounded by animals—both large and small—gave me a lifelong passion for their care and well-being. I spent 2 years working as a kennel attendant before moving into a veterinary clinic, where I worked for 6 years. During my time in the clinic, I gained hands-on experience with dogs and cats of all breeds, ages, and medical needs, including administering medications, caring for senior pets, assisting with recovery, and recognizing when something isn’t quite right. I'm currently working full time, but evenings after 4 pm, weekends and every second Friday I am available completely to take care of your furry family member. I can also work from home one day per week, which is usually a Monday or Thursday so I would be able to spend the day with your furry friends on those days too. Growing up, I cared for our two dogs—a Border Collie and a Jack Russell Terrier—as well as two cats, two batches of kittens, fish, and two budgies. Our family also fostered dogs and puppies through New Hope Dog Rescue, and while I was in high school, I had the opportunity to briefly work with SCAT Street Cat Rescue. As an adult, I’ve continued caring for animals, including two guinea pigs who were part of my family for five years, as well as caring for my parents’ cat while they’re away. What Sets Me Apart: I believe pets are family, and I’ll treat your pets as if they were my own. Whether it’s sunshine, rain, or snow, I’ll make sure they receive the care, attention, exercise, and affection they deserve. Your pet’s safety, health, and happiness are my top priorities. With 2-3 days notice I can typically make requests work, whatever times would be best for you, I can make work. About: I have been around and cared for a wide variety of animals throughout my life growing up on a hobby farm, which included dogs, and cats. I understand that caring for animals is both a responsibility and a long-term commitment, and I take that responsibility seriously. I currently have two large dogs of my own and regularly foster dogs. Through fostering, I have gained experience working with a wide range of needs. When appropriate, I am able to accommodate dogs with different needs in my home by temporarily having my own dogs stay at our acreage, allowing me to provide a safe and comfortable environment for special needs foster or boarding dogs. A few years ago, I completed a 80-hour volunteer placement at a veterinary office in Prince Albert. At the time, I was hoping to pursue a career as a veterinary technician, although my career path eventually took me in a different direction. This experience provided me with valuable exposure to veterinary care and the professional handling of animals. In addition, I have experience with dog agility from my time training a service dog. Training a service animal taught me the importance of patience, consistency, positive reinforcement, communication, and building trust between an animal and its handler. I have also worked at a dog kennel for several years and have extensive experience providing dog walking and pet-sitting services for friends, family, and members of my community. These experiences have helped me develop a strong understanding of animal care, safety, handling, and the importance of adapting care to each individual animal's needs. I have previously been certified in Dog and Cat CPR and First Aid, and I plan to renew my certification again this year. I am committed to continuing to expand my knowledge and skills so that I can provide animals with safe, responsible, and compassionate care. Even with a full time work schedule you find a schedule that works best for you and the animal/s that you are caring for. It is your responsibility to give the best care you can to yours or any animal in your care. I have a LARGE double wide fenced lot. It is fenced down the middle as well if animals are needing to be separated. I have extra rooms and kennels if animals are needing to be separated, kennelled or quarantined. As well as the kitchen being gated off when nobody is home. All plants are animal safe, and the basement is closed off. I have a camera in my yard and front door. Alarms Co2 and fire in the whole house that is linked directly to the fire and police line. If needing to get to a clients home I make sure my day is planned around having time to get to those animals in a healthy amount of time.

About: I was born and raised on a farm so im no stranger to hard work and animal care! I myself am also a pet parent to 7 cats and 2 dogs and have raised cats and dogs from bottle babies to seniors. Im also a volunteer with the Saskatoon Dog Rescue and am taking a dog training course. I also have experience with dog reactivity and administaring meditations. I very much understand the importance of finding someone trustworthy to look after your pets while you're away so schedules and instructions will be followed to a T and i will send as many updates and pictures youd like while your away! Leaving your fur family at home for work and vacations can be hard and finding someone to trust while your away can be harder so please ask as many questions as youd like before booking with me!! I'm am available for walks and checks in between 10am and 6pm everyday. Other times are a possibility but will need to be discussed directly. I do not do boarding or overnight stays at my house but would be more then happy to pet sit at your place. When I care for a dog in their home I follow all clients instructions as well as lots of love and play, while also respecting boundaries and watching body language. While on walks I love to just see dogs be dogs, while also being respectful of the leash as well as evniroment. For safety I carry a can of pet corrector and a slip lead. If you're working on any training let me know and ill be sure to follow exactly what you're doing to reinforce your current training.
