Jordan came over to meet the critters and familiarize herself with their feeding routine, etc. She spent a whole hour here playing with them which I am sure our cats appreciated. Thanks Jordan!

About: Ever since I was little I have always loved taking care of animals big and small. I’ve always had pets growing up and am happy to take care of a wide range of animals! For a few years now I have watched over acreages for friends and also house sat dogs when they needed it. I have taken care of old pets who require medication and also young puppy’s who may need a little more help and consistency. I went through multiple obedience classes with my own dogs and have done lots of agility training and weight pull training with my own dog Razor! For some dogs new people can be scary and I know that well too. Peaches my other pup can be very timid of new people so I am happy to help even if you are worried about your dog being shy. All of June I have an in person class so most days I will have to be on campus from 8:30am-3pm but from July to august I will have no classes and can spend as much time with your fur baby as needed:) At my home I have a large fenced yard and two friendly dogs as well as a dog savvy cat who will be happy to keep your pet company! I do have two crates, one smaller and one larger in case to crate if needed. In your home I am happy to follow whatever schedule your pet is adapted to!

About: Your Pup’s Home Away From Home! 🐾 We are a family of three and we treat every guest like one of our own, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and fully pampered. What We Offer: Active Lifestyle: We love long walks and have a fully fenced yard perfect for zoomies and sunbathing. Crate-Friendly Home: We are experienced with kennel training and prefer dogs who are comfortable in their "den." Cozy Environment: Whether it's playtime in the yard or cuddles on the couch, your dog will be part of our daily rhythm. Our Schedule: We are home most of the time, though from Tuesday to Thursday, we work from 8 till 3 but between the two of us the pup will be able to have a pee break during the day. For this reason, we are a great fit for dogs who can relax comfortably in their kennel for a few hours at a time. We can’t wait to meet your pup and provide them with a fun, secure, and loving environment while you’re away! We are home most of the time, though from Tuesday to Thursday, we work during the day. For this reason, we are a great fit for dogs who can relax comfortably in their kennel for a few hours at a time. Our Care Philosophy: Family First 🐾 Coming from a home that loved a Shih Tzu for many years, we know that every dog has a unique personality and specific needs. We don't just "watch" your dog; we welcome them into our daily lives as a temporary family member. Safety & Security Fully Fenced Yard: Your pup can enjoy the fresh air safely. We always supervise yard time to ensure everyone is playing nice and staying secure. Kennel Comfort: We are big believers in the "den" environment. If your dog is kennel trained, we maintain that routine to reduce anxiety and give them a safe space to rest while we are out or during bedtime. Leashed Adventures: Our morning and evening walks are always on-leash, exploring the neighborhood at a pace that suits your dog’s energy level. Personalized Attention Companionship: Since someone is usually home throughout the day, your dog won't be lonely. Whether we’re working nearby or relaxing in the living room, they’ll have human company. Consistency is Key: We stick to your feeding and medication schedule exactly as you do at home to keep their tummy and health on track. Fresh Water & Treats: We keep the bowls full of fresh water and (with your permission!) provide healthy treats for being "good boys and girls." Communication with You We know how hard it is to be away from your fur baby. We make sure to send: Daily Photo Updates: Action shots from our long walks or cute photos of them lounging in the yard. Quick Check-ins: A quick text to let you know they’ve eaten and are settling in well. Peace of Mind: You can enjoy your trip knowing we are treating your pup exactly how we’d want our own to be treated.

About: I've been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my mother trained large-breed dogs, and that's where my passion for dogs, obedience, and understanding each dog's unique personality began. From confident and energetic to shy, anxious, or reactive, I believe every pet deserves patient, compassionate care tailored to their individual needs. I'm Pet First Aid certified and prioritize safety, enrichment, and positive experiences during every visit. I have a special place in my heart for senior pets and take extra care to ensure they're comfortable, relaxed, and supported at their own pace. I also grew up around farm animals, giving me experience with a wide variety of species and temperaments. For six years, I volunteered helping train service dogs for people with medical needs, which strengthened my understanding of consistency, trust, and the incredible bond between people and animals. At home, I share my life with two Dachshunds whose unpredictable personalities have taught me even more about patience, respectful handling, and reading canine body language. Those experiences have reinforced the importance of meeting every dog where they are and building trust through calm, positive interactions. Whether your pet is playful, reserved, young, senior, or needs a little extra understanding, I'll care for them as if they were my own—with kindness, respect, and plenty of love. I work a structured shift schedule, which allows me to dedicate my days off to pet care. My schedule is planned well in advance, so I can provide reliable availability and give each pet the time and attention they deserve. My goal is to grow my pet care services as demand allows because caring for animals is something I genuinely love. The more paws I get to welcome into my weekly routine, the happier I am! I'm happy to tailor each visit to your pet's individual needs and your preferences, whether that's an energetic walk, enrichment activities, playtime or simply providing calm companionship. I understand that not every pet enjoys the same type of interaction. If your dog is shy, anxious, or more comfortable with minimal interaction—even a "no eye contact" visit—I will respect their boundaries and move at their pace. My priority is always helping your pet feel safe, comfortable, and secure. Whenever appropriate, I love incorporating activities that help build trust and strengthen our bond, such as brushing, offering treats (with your approval), practicing basic commands, puzzle games, or other enrichment tailored to their personality. Every visit is focused on creating a positive, stress-free experience while giving your pet the individualized care they deserve.

About: With over 15 years of animal care experience, I’ve had the privilege of caring for pets of all shapes, sizes, ages, and personalities. Growing up surrounded by animals—both large and small—gave me a lifelong passion for their care and well-being. I spent 2 years working as a kennel attendant before moving into a veterinary clinic, where I worked for 6 years. During my time in the clinic, I gained hands-on experience with dogs and cats of all breeds, ages, and medical needs, including administering medications, caring for senior pets, assisting with recovery, and recognizing when something isn’t quite right. Now that I’m a stay-at-home mom, I truly miss my furry clients and the joy they brought to my days. I’d love the opportunity to care for your pet as if they were one of my own. Whether they need an energetic walking buddy, a calm companion, or lots of love and attention while you’re away, you can trust they’ll be in caring, experienced hands. Also actively passing down my love for animals to my children. I am a stay at home mom of 3 kids with plenty of free time - open & flexible schedule able to cater to specific needs 2 meals a day, experienced with medication - my beloved fur baby of 14 years passed in January 2026 from congestive heart failure so I know how important it is to maintain a schedule & make sure they get the things they need. I have a 1.5 year old neutered lab named Bodie - extremely friendly & loves everyone & everything

About: Hello! My name is Jessica! I have watched various sizes and ages of dogs and cats in the last 10 years, mostly for people in my circle of friends and family. I also have an English Mastiff who is my bestie. I have had experience administering medications and walking multiple dogs at a time. My 'niche' would be for anyone who has a large/giant breed that is low to medium energy. I know what real drool looks like and have cloths dedicated to wiping up slobber. I've had two dogs that have been considered 'giant' breeds and I absolutely adore them. That being said I love pets of all shapes and sizes, this work is something I really enjoy doing. I love learning about animals and getting a chance to get to know them. I work M-F 8:30-5 and I'm looking to be a pet sitter for animals that can comfortably accommodate this schedule, certainly on the weekends and in the evenings, I provide regular outside breaks and walks. I understand that a pet's routine is essential to maintain, so please let me know if there are specific times and intervals for meals, walks, and any other needs for your pet! I try to allow pets to settle into a space or adjust to having a stranger in their home. Any dogs staying at my home will be separated into different crates or rooms while I am not home to prevent any issues that may arise when there are unsupervised animals in the same space. It is just me and my pup so our home is quiet for the most part, we love a nap. Please, if you have a question or request do not hesitate to ask. I want to have a successful time with your dog and if it seems that my schedule or 'style' may not be the best fit then let's figure it out so you can find the best care for your dog.

Jordan was amazing. She went above and beyond, even doing things like cleaning up the cat dishes, taking out the garbage, etc. that I had told her she didn’t need to worry about, and reaching out to ask if I wanted her to look after other things whenever she noticed something that might need doing. I can tell she gave my kitties a lot of love and attention because they were happy and content, not lonesome at all, when I arrived home, I am deeply grateful to her for all of this. I would not hesitate to call her in future and recommend her highly to others

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Pet Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Pet Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 245 sitters on Rover for Pet Sitting in Martensville. About 85% of Martensville sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or travelling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer poop breaks during a Martensville stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover based on what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

You can coordinate how much supervision you want directly with your sitter. While every sitter’s schedule varies, here are some examples of supervision by pet care service:

  • Boarding or doggy day care: Many sitters can provide frequent companionship because they design their day specifically around the pets in their care or work from home.
  • House sitting: Your sitter generally stays in your home for the requested duration, which may include overnight care. They may step out briefly to visit other pet clients, but your home remains their primary base.
  • Drop-in visits or dog walking: These can be scheduled in 30- or 60-minute windows (and can be shorter or longer at your request) to help your pet receive dedicated attention and care during those specific times.

Interested in constant or 24/7 care? This service often incurs an additional fee but many sitters are happy to discuss this option with you.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Martensville choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

  • 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
