I’m a nursing student who loves helping both people and animals in my free time. I’m available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8am–7pm, and weekends from 9am–12pm or 4pm–7pm. I look forward to spending time playing with and caring for pets after a long day of studying!

Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. To keep my cat safe I regularly check for any unusual bumps or changes when petting, keep her well-groomed to prevent matting, and maintain good hygiene like clean water bowls and a tidy environment. I make sure my pet is properly hydrated, and fed the right portions. I also ensure they get plenty of playtime, attention, and care so they stay happy and healthy.

Please let me know about any allergies, medical conditions, past injuries, and anything important regarding their health. I’d also love to know their favorite treats, toys, where they like to be pet, and anything they dislike. It’s helpful to understand what comforts them if they’re in distress, and if there’s anything specific you’d like me to do or use before walks (such as specific leashes, harnesses, shoes, or paw balms). This helps me provide care that’s tailored to your pet’s needs.
A typical day
I love keeping pets happy, active, and comfortable during my time with them. I make sure to include lots of playtime using their favourite toys to keep them engaged, along with walks or runs so they can get their energy out and enjoy the outdoors. I would also spend time giving gentle pets and relaxing “pet massages” to help them feel calm and cared for. If they enjoy it, I’m always happy to include some cozy cuddle time, and I can brush their hair to keep them feeling fresh and well-groomed.

I have 6 years of experience caring for my own cat, which has taught me patience, responsibility, and how to understand animal behaviour. While I haven’t owned a dog before, I’m very active and enjoy walks and runs, so I’m excited and more than willing to work with both dogs and cats. I’m patient, compassionate, and adaptable, and I always aim to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I take the time to understand each pet’s personality and needs, and I’m always open to listening to pet parents and following their instructions closely to provide the best possible care.

Mae is one of the most caring and pet loving people I know. Shes super dedicated and responsible, especially when coming to animals. She has one cat Puffin who she cares for daily. She also has a neighbourhood cat who comes around once in a while, giving him treats and making sure he is healthy!
