“Bonnie was reliable and pups liked her. She showed up on time even with the struggle to find parking due to the snow clearing. I do wish when she took more than a picture of 1/2 our dogs head or butt to send to us.”

About: I have had small dogs all my life, and am also a proud Cat mom to 3 beautiful felines. My passion for animals has always been strong, and I have previously worked at Petsmart as a Pet care associate, caring for many small animals. I've babysat for friends/families dogs over several years, and am comfortable bathing&brushing if needed. Your dog will always have clean water on hand, and I believe long walks and fresh air are a NECESSITY, and a wonderful way for bonding. I love to play catch or play chase, whatever hobby your pup loves the most. Their happiness is of utmost importance. Does your dog love snuggles and pets??? I will make certain they get all the love they can handle. For boarding, I live in a townhouse, there is not a fenced yard, but there is a dog run just behind the parking lot for very easy access for potty breaks. I am home 24/7 for supervision and can provide as many walks your pup needs. There are tons of parks nearby and big spaces to run. No walk is boring for me, if they are sniffers, great. If they are barkers, no problem! If they like to cruise, you bet I can keep up. I'd be happy to answer any other questions you may have! I'm an open book. I am currently not working and am available at all times to care for your pet! Whether that's extremely early wake ups or late nights, Im your girl!! I am home 24/7 with no children, so my animals are my passion. They have constant supervision and play. Attention is definitely not lacking in this household. If your dog requires crating, I will make sure to do so.

About: For 2 years, I volunteered at Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society as a dog caregiver, learning through training and hands-on experience how to care for the especially vulnerable animals entrusted to our care. This included working with puppies and adult dogs, including some dogs that required more patience and care. However, most of my pet care experience comes from caring for my own small dog and various pets of family friends, especially their cats. I have always adored animals (often preferring them over humans... they're just easier to talk to, haha). I aim to be a gentle, calming presence for them. I love taking photos of the pets I care for and will be happy to provide photo updates! I am also more than willing to have a meet and greet beforehand to ensure I am a good fit for your pet. In addition to my previous training at the shelter, I have also taken the online Pet First Aid course offered by Canadian Red Cross because I am always seeking to add to my abilities to ensure the pets I care for are as safe and well-cared for as possible. Currently on summer vacation, opening myself up to plenty of opportunities to care for your pets! As a result of not currently having a set routine, my schedule will vary a little bit, but I will try my best to make my availability as clear as possible. I will take the time to become familiar with the specific care needs of your pet as it relates to your home, ensuring I am clear on everything I need to know.

About: I had my own dog for seven years, and have watched and cared for cats and dogs for friends, family, and coworkers several times over the last few years. I also have hands-on experience with gerbils, hamsters, and betta fish. I learned a lot about dog behaviour while having a dog, and I enjoy researching and studying to learn more about animal behaviour and proper pet care. I currently work a part-time job that takes up three days per week, but I have open availability on Fridays and Saturdays, as well as Tuesday afternoons and Sunday mornings and evenings. I will provide food and water as necessary for your animals, pee breaks and/or walks for your dog, and litter-scooping for your cat. I will respect your pet's boundaries and let them choose to trust me, rather than forcing them to interact (unless in an emergency which requires haste).

“Jemma is always excited to go for walks. Abigail is always punctual and provides photos and takes good care of Jemma and tires her out !”

About: I have previously been a boarder collie owner for over ten years I would to take care for other pets before making the commitment to adoption once again. I work remotely from home five days a week. I am available for pet care. I love walking with a dog and am an active person. I have a fully fenced yard in south east Edmonton. Dog beds and bowls are on supply. Access to off leash dog areas are in walking distance.

About: I grew up with dogs and currently have a small dog named Momo who loves making friends. I love animals more than anything! I've been on both sides of Rover and I know how nerve wracking it can be to leave your family member in someone else's care. With me, you don't have to worry about anything - I will do my absolute best to make sure your pet is healthy, happy, and safe. I'm usually in the office Tuesday to Thursday, and work from home Friday through Monday. Your dog will get unlimited love, care, and attention while I'm home! On my office days, they'll need to be okay being alone for about 8 hours if you'd like to leave them with me. I have a friendly and playful small dog who can keep your dog company! We live in a 2-bedroom condo that is a 1-minute walk from a large park that includes a fenced off-leash area.

“Crystal was amazing with walking leia. She booked on short notice which was much appreciated! She took Leia on a nice walk and included photos as well for me to see.”

“I’m pretty sure Ashlynn and Tucker are best friends. If Tucker had thumbs he would be booking his own walks. Quick with reply’s and always on time. The biggest review for me is that Ashlynn was trustworthy and I never had to worry about tucker while he was in her care.”

About: Growing up always having a furry friend, it’s natural that I adore all animals. After having two dogs with quite severe needs I am very capable of the needs your pet may require. I have extensive knowledge on dealing with high anxiety puppies, fear aggressive puppies, and dogs who need consistent stimulation. I am able to adapt to the needs your baby might need and provide them with the most excellent care! I grew up with both cats and dogs and am confident in my ability to keep them happy, healthy, and cared for! Ensuring your dogs comfortability and happiness is my top priority. I’m new to Edmonton and am missing my puppy back home, so I have a lot of love with nowhere to go! I’m a student with an easy schedule that gives me tons of time to care for your furry friend! No matter the situation I’ll fit your animal into my schedule. I think it’s extremely important to do a first meet and greet before confirming our time together. I want to know the ins and outs of your pets routine. Their likes and dislikes, and just to see if it’s a good fit! Regardless of my knowledge with pets, I am a new person to them and I want the knowledge necessary to make them happy! I answer to all requests within the hour and will always do my best to accommodate any and all requests you have for me! I look forward to caring for your babies! :) I’m brand new to Edmonton so I have quite the free time on my hands. I am a student so my day consists of morning classes and studying. I have more than enough time throughout the day for any care your pet may need from me. I need my physical exercise too! I love to walk and explore the areas that I don’t really know yet! Me and your pet will find endless ways to occupy ourselves and have a great time! :) My puppy at home is severely reactive and therefore cannot interact with any other dog at all. He doesn’t go on walks due to this as well. He loves fetch in private fenced in areas, as well as a good run around in our yard! He enjoys plenty of puzzle games, hide and seek, or find ems! With your puppy I want to best replicate their routine in your home. I want to be their friend, so knowing what they like is very important to me!

About: Hi, I’m Myca! I’m a student with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to care for pets. Cats hold a special place in my heart, I love their independent spirit and the little ways they show trust. I’m equally happy caring for friendly dogs who enjoy a relaxed, kind presence. I’ve been the go-to person for pet care among friends and family for years. Whether it’s feeding, walks, drop-ins, or overnights, I always make sure pets feel safe, happy, and loved! Being a student gives me plenty of time to care for pets. I’m available for drop-in visits, dog walks, and house sitting during weekdays and weekends. I’m doing this not only because I love animals but also to earn some extra income doing something I genuinely enjoy. Starting September 2025, I’ll be moving to Calgary, so I won’t be accepting bookings in or around Edmonton after August. I’m all about caring for pets in their own cozy space where their toys, treats, and favorite nap spots are! I’ll stick to their routine, keep things tidy, and make sure they feel safe, loved, and a little spoiled. You’ll get photo updates, of course!

About: I am flexible with all my services, including house sitting, drop-ins, and dog walking. I have several years’ experience with dog walking and house sitting (including drop-in style), and I am an athlete so I have the physical strength necessary to handle large dogs. I am currently a professional volleyball player so while I’m not overseas I really enjoy leaving space in my schedule to dog sit! I have completed an internship position at a wildlife rehabilitation facility (WildNorth) and have a degree in conservation biology, so I am very passionate about animals! Growing up with multiple pets, I learned early on how to appreciate and handle them. I have also raised and trained a puppy myself, and I’m an amateur training enthusiast. I would love to meet your pet and I hope you consider me for your pet care needs! I’m currently coaching volleyball part time so I’m typically free most of the time. The longest I typically would have to leave your dog alone is for 2.5 hours when I have a couple coaching sessions. I always communicate clearly what the expectations are for care, such as how your dog is on leash, if I need to watch for any escape artists, or any other concerns or quirks your dog may have!

“Kennedy is indeed a responsible & loving pet caregiver. She has 3 cats of her own, whom she dotes on, and refers to them as her “kids”. She has taken care of my dog Renly on numerous occasions, both at my home and her own home. Renly adores her and is always so excited to see her. She plays with him, takes him for long walks and loves to cuddle with him; always tending to his various needs. Andrea S.
“Andrea volunteered at AARCS, Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society, with me for almost a year. I joined a year or two after Andrea, and we both volunteered until their rescue in Edmonton closed. During that time Andrea showed a stellar ability to follow instructions and protocol. Furthermore, Andrea took the initiative to take on differing responsibilities during caregiver shifts, completing whatever tasks were required. Andrea is very skilled at animal handling, and through completing numerous levels of dog training and handling through AARCS, is capable of caring for and working with nearly any dog. Her respectful, smart, and detail-oriented nature, as well as years of animal handling experience make her perfectly suited for pet sitting positions.”

“I wholeheartedly recommend Jennifer McMurphy as a dog sitter. She is a true animal lover with a natural connection to dogs of all breeds and temperaments. Jennifer is incredibly responsible, dependable, and attentive—qualities that make her a standout caregiver. One of the things that sets Jennifer apart is her active lifestyle. She genuinely enjoys being outdoors and takes every opportunity to go on long walks, hikes, or playtime at the park, which makes her a perfect companion for dogs who need regular exercise and stimulation. I’ve seen firsthand how happy and well-cared-for dogs are in her presence. She treats every pet like her own, with patience, love, and respect. Anyone who entrusts their pet to Jennifer can rest easy knowing they’re in caring and capable hands. She’s not just a sitter—she becomes a trusted friend to the dogs she watches. Sincerely,”

Penny S.
“it was recently our first time leaving our pup for 2 weeks, and we’re so glad we had Penny to watch over her! Penny was so kind to allow us to set up a couple of meet and greets with her beforehand, and was super accommodating to all of our needs. We were so worried to leave our anxious corgi for a long period of time, but Penny did tremendously well in catering to our pups needs! Between all the updates she sent us and visiting our dog while Penny was dog sitting, we felt so reassured to see our pup healthy and happy to be there! Penny is so caring and kind. She listened to all of our lengthy concerns and was incredibly patient to allow us to ramble on about all our pups habits/routines, etc. Any dog would be would be in great hands if it’s with her. We will not be going to any other pet sitter, and we look forward to leaving our pup with her again! Thank you Penny!”

Thanks Amber, we can’t wait to have you again !!”

Kathryn C.
“I had Kate to care for my dog when we were on vacation. Sparky isn’t good with new spaces so Kate would come over in the morning for his walk, feed and play with him and return in the evening for a long walk, water and lots of play time. She has a special knack for shy dogs. He normally does like people but loved her and always wanted to play with her. I can’t say enough great things about Kate. It’s obvious to any observer that she has a special connection with dogs and treats them with such kindness and respect. She’d be perfect for this job.”
Larkspur dog parents share their Rover experiences
I reached out to Rhonda the day before, as one of my regular dog walkers had fallen through. She was absolutely lovely to deal with and really helped me out of a difficult situation. Even though she hadn’t met Helmut prior to the walk, she was wonderful with him—calm, kind, and attentive. Rhonda was accommodating, communicative, and clearly experienced with dogs. I would highly recommend her!

Absolutely wonderful experience. Would highly recommend Tetiana. She came twice a day to walk our dog and we received updates and photos. We were very comfortable knowing our Leo was well looked after.

Cristal is very dear and respectful, she has adorable children and I recommend her. I am very happy with her and her service and Peggy seems very close to them.

We’ve been so impressed with Mayra! She is incredibly kind, respectful, and punctual, and has been wonderful with our high-anxiety, mostly deaf dog. It didn’t take long for our dog to warm up to her, which speaks to her gentle and patient approach. She’s also very respectful of our home, and we feel completely comfortable knowing our dog is in such capable hands. Highly recommend!
