About: Hi! We’re Will and Ellie (Wellie) — a British couple living permanently in Canada who work in the entertainment industry and love spending our downtime with furry friends. I (Ellie) have been fostering dogs since I was a teenager — especially pups who needed a little extra love, whether they were seniors, had medical issues, or came from tough backgrounds. I’ve helped care for lots of dogs who needed time to heal before finding their forever homes, so I’m super comfortable with giving meds, managing mobility, and just being a calm, reassuring presence. I’ve also looked after dogs with reactivity — whether that’s around other animals, people, or wildlife — and I always tailor care to what each dog needs to feel safe. Will works in wildlife and has tons of experience around animals too, so between the two of us, your pup is in good hands! We’ve both done in-home pet sitting (dogs and cats!) and have experience with everything from high-energy pups to cuddle bugs. We bought a house here in Canada just a year ago, and we're excited to start helping local families with their pets soon! We both work from home, ensuring any furry visitors have maximum attention and strokes throughout the day. During the week, we regularly let pets out into the yard for breaks, as well as two walks a day (to stretch our legs and theirs!). On the weekends we love to adventure into the parks for hiking or lake days, and we're always eager to bring your pup with us! We live in a house with a fully fenced yard that’s perfect for potty breaks and playtime. There’s a security camera system on the property, and we never leave dogs outside alone — we’re always right there with them. We also have indoor cameras so we can check in on your pup if we need to run out for a quick errand, just to make sure they’re safe and settled. Our yard backs right onto beautiful forest trails, and we’re a short walk from a great dog park too. That said, with unpredictable wildlife in the area, we always keep dogs on-leash during walks unless we’ve discussed otherwise with you in advance — and only if we both feel confident in your pup’s recall and comfort level. Your dog’s safety (and ours!) is the top priority, and we want to make sure everyone stays safe and happy no matter where we’re adventuring. We’re both used to handling outdoor animal encounters and tailor each outing to what your dog enjoys — whether that’s quiet sniffy walks, socialising, or just a quick pee break in the backyard.

About: Need someone to keep your best friend busy when you can’t be around? My husband and I are trail runners that would love to bring your pup along for the adventure. I’m available for dog sitting, walking and check ins throughout the week. We will also send you updates with photos of all your pups adventures. I have over ten years of experience caring for large breed dogs and have completed numerous obedience and training courses over the years. I believe mental stimulation is just as important as physical and therefore will enforce training while your pet is in my care. We lost our 8 year old dog, Rupert, to cancer in October 2023 and have since brought a new pup, Louie into our home. Louie loves every dog he meets and will be a great companion for any other dog staying in our home. My partner and I both work from home so your pup will spend very limited time alone. You can expect your dog to partake in a morning and afternoon walk along with a longer adventure in the evening. While we do have a fenced yard, your dog will not spend any time outside alone unsupervised. As my husband and I both work from home your dog will be supervised throughout the day.

“Kayla is awesome! We came all the way from the US and we told her that we have 2 dogs instead of one but she was very kind to accept both of them even it’s a late notice. Pebbles and Charlie had a great time and enjoyed their trail walk and even went to the river. The most special thing that Kayla did is she was able to teach us how to control Charlie’s barking if he sees the other dogs since she was able to apply the trick and it worked on him. Kayla, we really appreciate your time taking good care of our furbabies. Hope we can visit Banff, Canada again and we will definitely get you to watch our furbabies. We would recommend Kayla as one of the best dog sitters!”

I’ve had the joy of sharing my life with five amazing pups, each with their own unique challenges, and I’ve cared for them from their early years all the way into their senior days. Over the years, I’ve also had a bunny, two guinea pigs, and even a pet snake—so I’m no stranger to the quirks and personalities that make each animal special and I'm happy to care for your littler ones too! I believe in a calm, respectful approach that gives them space to come say hello when they’re ready. I’m very in tune with dog body language, and I always prioritize their comfort and safety. Whether your dog is big, small, shy, bouncy, or somewhere in between, I’d love to get to know them and give them the care and attention they deserve. I'm currently semi-retired so I'll have plenty of availability and time to spend with your fur babies. I prefer bookings 1 week in advance but I'm flexible, I understand that sometimes life gets in the way! I have experience with senior dogs who need a little more time and assistance, especially taking breaks as needed on their walks and reading body language for cues on discomfort. Also administering oral medication and drops, cleaning up accidents, and following restricted diets. I follow the house rules when sitting at your home, and will walk your dog in your neighbourhood. My home is dog-proofed with multiple dog beds and even doggie steps for smaller pups who might need help reaching the couch :). My backyard is fully fenced and dog-safe, and dogs will get multiple walks per visit (depending on the length of their stay) either at the park or in the nearby trails.
