“Do not hesitate!! I think Anh may be a dog whisperer! We have 2 wonderful but less-than-perfect dogs that have limited socalization with children OR other dogs (one small and growly and one big goofy rambunctious puppy). Anh has so much experience with dogs and such a calm, assuring presence that we (dogs and humans) were immediately at ease. The communication was also very reassuring. This experience was great for our dogs (they bonded with other dogs and felt safe with other humans) and we are thrilled to have found someone we trust. ❤️”

“Thank you Lin and Jing for taking car of Horacio. He felt like home. He had plenty of space in a clean and family environment and the best is he made a new friend ?”

“Very happy with our stay, Patricia is a very good host. We left Coco for 7 nights and all was great. Patrica took care of him with his medication and the fussy eating. He’s back home and I can tell he was well taken care of. What a good feeling to know you can leave your animal in confidence and he will be well taking care of.”

“Henry is definitely in love with Sally!! I am so happy we found her. We booked her three times already. She is calm, communicative, patient. Takes him on plenty of walks and is great with all his food and supplements. We will be seeing her again very soon.”

“Carlos and is family took really good care of Eevee even if she started to have a cough while with them. They keeped me posted on how she was and send me photos regularly. Since Eevee loves kids and cuddles she was at the right place ! Thanks again Carlos and family 🤗”

“Valerie is a great dog sitter. She’s looked after our German shepherd several times now and our dog is always well cared for. We’ve booked her last minute and I appreciate her willingness and availability. Would recommend!”

“Claudine was everything you would want from a professional and an absolute dog lover. This being our first time with this service, she was great at putting us at ease with everything. She took wonderful care of our Kiba and we received so many wonderful updates that we felt like we weren’t apart from Kiba. Claudine’s care of kiba was 2nd to none. She was gentle with Kiba when he felt a little homesick and always kept his spirits high with wonderful walks and plays. I absolutely recommend Claudine 100% and will definitely be the first call I make when we need a sitter again. Thank you so much Claudine!!! :)”

“Carolina was very easy to communicate with and accommodating to our last minute request. She consistently gave updates on how our dog was doing. He seemed calm and happy when we came and got him. Would definitely use her again in the future when we need someone to take care of our dog.”

“What can I say! 5 ⭐️ is mot enough to describe how grateful we are for how amazing the care and Love giving to our puppy was. Nomida is THE ONE if you realky need someone that takes care of your pet .. it is her! They are the sweetest family, very kind, devoted, the kids loved our Nugget and because she loves kids, it was definitely the best place and environment for her. Never left alone, playful, sending tones of pictures to keep track of my pupoy's day, it makes you feel that you aren't missing anything of her day, beside missing yoir pet. Open minded, very friendly, carefull with needs, great walks, playing with her children, Nomida is making sure that your pet stay will be feeling like home not just a place where you're droping off your pet but a real safe lovely home friendly environment! So 5 stars to me out 5 = not enough! Thank you for everything you have done for Nugget❤️”

“Melissa was absolutely amazing!! I had booked her for 2 separate stays (2 weeks each). Unfortunately because of the coronavirus, I worked from home for the second reservation and had to cancel. I’m pretty sure Buddy went into a mild depression because he missed her so much! Can’t wait to book with her again! For the first time, I was actually not distracted worrying about my little guy being in good hands!”

“Sondos did a great job taking care of our two corgies. She is truly passionate about dogs and understands their needs. She was sending us daily updates with pictures and videos of our dogs looking happy and relaxed. We would be glad to come back.”

“We're very happy to have found Graeme and Vicky for our senior dog, Zoe. She can get disoriented in new places and they were very attentive to her needs. We look forward to her future stay with them!”

“Barbara est la candidate parfaite pour garder votre chien. Ma petite Alélie a passé du bon temps avec elle. Elle a eue toute l’attention de Barbara et elle était très relaxe quand je l’ai récupéré.”

About: I absolutely love all animals and have been caring for my Bernese mountain dog, Walter, for 5 years now. It would be my pleasure to also care for yours while you are away. Any size or age are welcomed. As long as your dog is comfortable and friendly around another dog, cat and kid. :) We will have a blast! I am available for house visits from 9am-3pm on week days and your dog is welcomed in our home for a house stay anytime throughout the week. Schedules to be determined. I work part time from home and have lots of time for walks, dog park visits (if wanted), play and cuddles. On the weekends, we love to go hiking in nature. I have a fenced backyard with lawn. I also have a friendly male 5 year old Bernese Mountain dog who would love the company. We have an elderly cat as well and a 8 year old daughter. So it is important that your dog is friendly with others animals and kids.

“Great experience, They were extremely helpful with my last minute request. They were flexible and friendly. I received pictures and updates frequently. My dog had a great time. 100% recommended”

“Russell et sa famille se sont très bien occupé de Bookie. Il est revenu fatigué, mais heureux d'avoir joué avec ses amis de chien. Nous allons retourner porter Bookie chez eux, c'est sûr !”

“Soumaya is not only super friendly, but also a very caring dog sitter. She really took good care of my dog Luna in every aspect, walking, playing, feeding and etc. Her children are fantastic and really love Luna like their own dog. They hug her, cuddle her and spend so much time playing with her. Soumaya also took pictures of Luna throughout the period and sent to us for updates, so that we can rest assured that Luna is in good hands. All in all, Soumaya is an excellent dog sitter; and together with her children, this just becomes a perfect winning team for any pet owners to trust and rely on.”

Very happy with our stay, Patricia is a very good host. We left Coco for 7 nights and all was great. Patrica took care of him with his medication and the fussy eating. Amazing experience for our Teddy! Megan & Irene took such amazing care of our fur baby the week we were away on vacation. We got so many pictures and daily updates…I was very nervous leaving him, and within an hour of him being dropped off, we already got an update and Teddy had already made himself right at home. We truly could not have asked for a better situation. They respected all of our wishes when it came to taking care of our old guy, and we could not recommend them enough. Thank you so much and hopefully see you again 🫶🏻🥰

Valérie is amazing. She took such great care of my Maki and Layla. Especially for Maki, she catered to her medication needs and give her medication on time and made sure she had them all with flying colours (it can be tricky to give her oral medication). Appreciated her care for them.

Alexa was absolutely amazing with Gracie and Penny! From the daily photos to the consistent communication, we felt completely at ease while we were away. She is a true 'dog mom' who makes your pets feel like a part of her own family and right at home. I could not recommend her services enough—she truly went above and beyond for my girls!

Tanya took incredible care of our dog Drogo during his stay. She went above and beyond, sending us daily pictures and updates that made us feel completely at ease. Drogo unfortunately got sick while he was with her, and she handled the situation with so much calm, kindness, and adaptability. She kept us informed every step of the way and made sure he was comfortable and cared for. We’re truly grateful for her support, her patience, and the genuine affection she showed him. Drogo clearly bonded with her; he was already missing her the moment we left. We couldn’t have asked for a better dogsitter. Highly recommended.

Tyler and Angelica were amazing. Very kind to Rask and very accommodating. Great communication with frequent updates and pictures. They were very patient, attentive and caring with our dog. I appreciated their flexibility and would not hesitate to leave Rask with them again. An amazing and secure backyard with plenty of play space for energetic dogs or those who prefer to relax in the shade.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
