About: I absolutely love all animals and have been caring for my Bernese mountain dog, Walter, for 5 years now. It would be my pleasure to also care for yours while you are away. Any size or age are welcomed. As long as your dog is comfortable and friendly around another dog, cat and kid. :) We will have a blast! I am available for house visits from 9am-3pm on week days and your dog is welcomed in our home for a house stay anytime throughout the week. Schedules to be determined. I work part time from home and have lots of time for walks, dog park visits (if wanted), play and cuddles. On the weekends, we love to go hiking in nature. I have a fenced backyard with lawn. I also have a friendly male 5 year old Bernese Mountain dog who would love the company. We have an elderly cat as well and a 8 year old daughter. So it is important that your dog is friendly with others animals and kids.

From the start, she took meticulous care of his dietary and medication needs.Even when Spencer had a bit of a territorial issue, she was patient and understanding. Spencer also did great with her kids, which says a lot about the comfortable environment she created. She was very attentive to his no-jumping, no-running instructions, ensuring safe, gentle walks due to his new IVDD diagnosis ( we found out about it a week prior to Melissa boarding Spencer). On top of that, she sent daily updates and plenty of pictures, just as we asked especially considering we were a bit stressed due to the new diagnosis and Spence not at his 100% when we left. About: I work mostly from home, am reliable, caring and very active. I don't have a yard, however I live close to large parks and beautiful areas to go exercise dogs. My personal dog is high energy, we are constantly out for adventures. I am a dog trainer as a hobby, lots of understanding of canine body language/ behavior/needs, tons of puppy experience and I love high drive, high energy dogs. I work from home, can provide walks and exercise especially in the morning, the best way to start the day. During work hours, i can provide potty breaks whenever necessary No yard, but plenty of areas walking or driving distance to go move with dogs, no matter the weather conditions, dogs must move !
