Experienced dog owner, fenced yard
I’ve had dogs all my life. I’ve cared for them from puppyhood through the difficult senior years, all ages and stages. I currently have a young adult dog, rescued from Turkey. He’s a great dog and very friendly to all. My house has a large fenced yard and my neighborhood is very dog-friendly. I love walking dogs all around the area.

Karen took great care of Pluto out 8 years old dog. She regularly send us news and pictures to let us know how he he was doing. I will recommend Karen without hesitation ! Thank you Karen of taking care of our precious dog !
Our dog, Bella, took an immediate liking to Karen. The house has a large deck in the back and a fenced yard so the dogs are able to come and go as they please. It was a great environment and Bella was well looked after for the day we were away.
Drake had a great time at Karen’s. He loves Loki and I think he misses him!
Thank you Karen for taking such good care of sushi! We loved the pictures you sent and felt very at ease leaving him with you, I could feel that sushi was in great hands the moment we left him. I know he misses playing with loki! Thanks again till our next stay!
Amazing experience with Karen! We felt so secure from the first meet and greet, and were so happy with how well she took cars of our Max. Thanks Karen and Loki for providing Max such a fun stay (our only problem now is Max misses Loki and is depressed…lol).
Karen was fantastic. Drake had a great time at her home and immediately bonded with Karen and her sweet dog Loki. In fact, I think he was a bit depressed after coming home and misses them!

Schedule
I work from home, so am nearly always at home. My job is quite relaxed, I work to my own schedule, so have lots of time to spend with dogs.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large fully fenced yard and a friendly mid-sized dog, who loves to run and play. Dogs are allowed anywhere in my house, my own dog prefers to sleep on the sofas. I have a couple of crates, of differing sizes, in case your dog is more comfortable in one.

A typical day
Your dog will be able to go in and out in the yard whenever he/she wants. I like to go for good long walks around my neighborhood. We have lots of places to explore - small forests, the lake, plenty of side streets and parks. I walk my own dog 3-5km/day, depending on weather, but am happy to adapt to your own dog’s needs.
