About: I have been caring for pets since I was young. I have owned three dogs over my life - a lab, a rescue pup, and a golden retriever who I trained from a puppy. It started when I moved in with my grandma to help her through dementia and care for her beloved dog, Guiness who lived to almost 20 years old. I have now stayed in people’s homes in Saskatoon and Calgary; I’ve been caring for three families pets consistently over the past three years and love them like my own. I have just moved back to Calgary and I am searching for a full-time job, I currently live at home and have all the time to care for your pets around the clock. On Sundays, I work an 8 hour shift in Canmore at a golf course. This can be flexible, given enough notice. I follow instructions in a very detail-oriented manner. I know how much trust it takes to leave your beloved pet with someone else, and I want to ensure we are always on the same page. This way, you can enjoy your time away while knowing your expectations are being met. I have been described as having “the patience of a saint,” which comes from working with children, the elderly and caring for all kinds of animals! I have ample experience with administering medications, cleaning ears, brushing, walking, and training. Some breeds I have worked with include: rescue mix, golden retriever, bernese mountain dog, frenchie, labrador retriever, siamese cats, australian shepherds. I have run two half-marathons and am very active, but I still enjoy slow-paced life. She updated in regularly with pictures and highlights from their adventures together. Stacey has become our “go-to”dog & house sitter.”

I’ve rescued animals. Working part time so hours are flexible. Can make most things work with enough notice. As I would love to have an additional fur baby always . I have a fenced back yard. I live ten minutes from two off leash dog parks so if your dogs are well socialized I would be happy to bring them there with my dog. Otherwise fine to do private walks around neighborhood.

I have five years of experience volunteering at AARCS animal shelter with dogs of all shapes and sizes. At the animal shelter I feed walk and cuddle with some less fortunate dogs. The work I do there is very rewarding as I am sure it will be with your dog too! Since June 2020 I have also been working part time at a doggy day care where I specialize in loving dogs.
