I am especially passionate about working with animals who may be fearful or have special needs. I have previously completed a two-year apprenticeship under a force-free dog trainer in Calgary, and although I am not currently working as a trainer due to completing my master's, what I learned informs all my interactions with animals. About: Ever since I was younger, I remember caring for animal well-being. I helped my mom with her boarding facility by watering and feeding the horses and helping with dewormer/medication. When I could throughout high school, I did pet sitting here and there for both cats and dogs as well as farm animals. I’ve also volunteered in several shelters around Red Deer, Alberta. I have taken one year of veterinary medical receptionist and have worked in a veterinary clinic for over a year.
