5. Abagail J.
“Abby is amazing!! Abby watched my dog and cat for me for a few days while I was out of town. I was nervous about leaving my animals with a stranger until I met Abby. She is an open and warm person, my shy dog quickly became comfortable with her hanging out and going for walks. Abby went the extra mile to ensure not only that my dog was happy, busy, and exercised. She was diligent in reinforcing my dog’s training, habits and norms. When I returned home my dog was happy and calmly greeted me at the door. No signs of stress or anxiety. I was stress free while I was away knowing my pets were in caring hands. Couldn’t be happier!!”
6. Julie M.

About: Can be found on Facebook at Kind K9 Services. Full time pet care. I strive in fulfilling dogs needs both physically and mentally, a tired pup is a happy pup! All dogs are welcome for my services. Big, small, senior, puppies, dogs in training welcome. For boarding pups, there are some basic house rules. First time guests are not expected to know all the rules, but most get the hang of them very quickly (especially repeat clients!). I only board two dogs at a time so the price reflects quality care and attention as well as keeping up on any training while you are away. - General obedience and leash manners. -Crate trained. This is for their safety and others during meals and when I may need to step out. - Impulse control. - No scratching at doors. - No excessive barking or whining. - No jumping on people. - No counter surfing. - Respecting other animals. - No marking or destruction of property. If your pet is a known offender or highly aggressive, you need to be ok with a kennel/crate, pen, or muzzle if necessary. I have two large breed dogs of my own, I love interacting with dogs and am confident walking any size of dog as well as reactive dogs. I am confident in knowing how to read body language in dogs and believe that helps me to understand what each individual dog needs. Available to do drop in visits in your home. I offer boarding at my own home. I do offer long term boarding and customized rates for longer stays. I offer house sitting in yours on a limited schedule and for shorter stays (less than 7 days). We can schedule a meet and greet and if doing boarding in my home you can feel assured your pet will be safe and comfortable. I’ll care for pets as if they were my own and follow all care instructions. Confident giving any medications your pet may take including insulin injections. I have an extra kennel (large size), playpen for smaller dogs/puppies, extra beds, bowls, toys. Any dogs boarding with me must be able to be left alone for a minimum of one hour as there is times I need to run errands or handle other bookings. Therefore at this time I will not take dogs with severe separation anxiety or problem barkers unless you have a care plan or medication. I do pet care full time so I have my day scheduled around bookings! For boarding in my home we will typically follow the same daily routine with play, walks and breaks. I have a fenced yard and always supervise outside time. For boarding in my home my dogs will be given the choice to interact with your own if they would like and all interactions and play will be supervised! My dogs are kennel trained and I also have baby gates up to section off my home making sure all dogs have their own area and space for breaks as well as meals and yummy treats. Dogs staying in my home do not need to be social as I can adapt my home for them. My dogs are used to being in proximity to other dogs but not interacting so they will respect if your dog needs space!
9. Wendy V.
“My partner and I had the pleasure of using Wendy to take care of our fur-babies and stay in our home for 9 nights. We couldn't be more impressed! From the moment Wendy came over, we could tell she was not only passionate about animals but also incredibly responsible and trustworthy. One aspect of Wendy's sitting that stood out to us was her dedication to Lexi's exercise. She took Lexi on regular walks and ensured she got plenty of exercise and fresh air. Knowing that Lexi was being mentally and physically stimulated gave us peace of mind during our trip. Throughout her stay, Wendy provided exceptional care to both Lexi and Tux. She followed their feeding schedules and was mindful of all of their quirks. They received plenty of love and attention AND we came home to a clean house and happy fur-babies! We also greatly appreciated the regular updates and photos, which reassured us that our fur-babies and home were being taken care of. Overall, we can't recommend Wendy enough for anyone in need of a pet sitter. Her professionalism, reliability and genuine love for animals makes her the perfect choice for anyone looking for pet care. We will definitely be reaching out to Wendy in the future and we are so grateful to have found such a wonderful caregiver for Lexi and Tux. Thank you Wendy!!”

12. Josie N.
About: Grew up on a farm with ALL of the animals, the border collies and heelers being my favourite. Helped train the farm dogs and helped train my roommates kelpie/shepherd rescue. Love all the dogs. Not afraid of the big one, high energy one or ones in the learning stage. I have a pretty random schedule at the hospital that I have to work around to help you take care of your furry friend. I work days and evenings. So if you need and a morning or evening care I can try to accommodate. Been around dogs my whole life. Just graduated from the MRI program at NAIT, and played for the hockey team there. Great walking environment around my neighborhood with large side walks and trails. Can take to parks or trails around the area as well.
13. Brendan M.
“Brendan is very caring for all pets, if he could rescue all of them, he would. He loves looking after them and takes great care of them. He has experience with anxious dogs and cats. I'm sure he would be great for drop in visits and would make sure the animal got all the love and attention it needs. As well as taking dogs on longer walks, making sure they get their daily exercise to keep them stimulated.”
14. Kristi A.
“Kristi was absolutely amazing with our big boy. We booked her last minute and nervous as we have never used a dog sitter overnight before. She was more than accommodating and even came to meet our dog beforehand. Also left the place cleaner than it was! We will be using her again in the future!”
15. Julie E.
“Julie is amazing with my dogs! I am such a helicopter dog mom but I truly feel like Julie cares for my dogs and will treat them like her own.
